How to be a Boho Chic

Just the mere sound of it is cool enough. Boho Chic. For me, boho style simply means carefree and unstressing fashion. It’s pretty much wearing something comfortable yet comfortable and trendy.

There are some people that mistake going boho and the “garbage look”. There are many things that can go wrong when you want to sport the Bohomenian style.

Here are some of the DON’TS of Boho Chics:

Overlayering is a NO!

DO NOT OVERLAYER

Layering is a great technique to achieve a Boho look. But do not overdo it. You would just come out as sloppy and buly if you have several layers of clothes. Just wear 2-3 layers tops. Where an inner shirt, cardigan and a scarf. Always go easy on layering.

DO NOT WEAR LOOSE TOP AND LOOSE BOTTOM

The key in achieving a nice Boho chic ensemble is to create a contrast. If you are wearing an oversized shirt, you can pair it up with nice skinny jeans so you could still achieve that sexy look. If you go for loose pants, put on a tight fitting tank top that would give your outfit balance and form.

DO NOT WEAR ALL POSSIBLE COLORS IN ONE OUTFIT
Funny how people would want to waer all the colors of the rainbow in one outfit. Colors always have a way to brighten things up, but if you want to go with the Boho style, you should try using earth colors like hues of brown, beige, green, grays, gold, silver, dark red and other vibrant colors. You can mix and match colors but limit it to 3-4 shades.

And the last tip, always add your personal touch in all things you wear. You would never go wrong with your own personal boho style!
