Happy Easter to One and All!

It’s 10 in the evening and I haven’t greet anyone happy easter yet…so, HAPPY EASTER everyone. Last night, we went to the traditional “SALUBONG”. This is a tradition in the Philippines by Catholics where a set of angels (toddlers and kids) flock on a high-rise place and wait for the coming of Jesus and Mother Mary. The symbolic images of the two most important persons in the celebration of Easter usually comes to two other places. SALUBONG in tagalog means “to meet”. Mother Mary would then come with a black veil. And when the image of the risen Christ comes, the angel from “above” would go down and remove the black veil of Mother Mary. This symbolizes the union of Mother Mary with his only son Jesus Christ. Check out the the video below!
