Got a question, hope someone can answer... Any EASY Medifast recipes for Spanish paella? Many thanks for any answer. Second question.. It has been 30 days since.

Surgery.

And I have lost 25 pounds. Someone who's mother had.

Surgery.

Said "oh thats it?" when I told her how much I had lost. This got me even more worried that I wasn't losing as much as other people do in their first month..

I would really like to know if Im on par with other ppl who've had GBP.

Surgery.

I find that I am obsessing over the scale. I keep telling myself not to weigh myself everyday but then I break down and do it... any suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

Miss worry wart lol..

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I got an answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably know..

First, congrats! Second, my nutritionist said a pound a day was about average. Be proud of what you have done (are doing) and forget the people who want to knock ya for going forward. Besides, the next friend may tell you their mom only lost 20...

Yes! you are doing great! Don't listen to her! Does she even have personal experience while she is clouding your judgement? Dont listen to anything anyone has to say that has not been in any of our shoes! Thats the first rule! (besides your docs) I lost an average of 20 lbs a mo during my first yr..

You are doing great! Keep your head up and keep moving. And btw... get on your scale if you want to... thats the fun part of your new journey!.

Enjoy!..

YOu are doing just fine! We all want to wake up 100# lighter, don't we??? (Or I sure did)...but you are on the right path it sounds like to me..

Be careful of letting comments from others play with your mind. Some may speak from jealousy, lack of.

Knowledge.

Or just to be cruel..

With the directions you've gotten from your nutritionist and doctor, and hopefully, the ability to check in there from time to time, as well as support here, surround yourself with the positives of what you are doing, the accomplishments you've reached so far..

Keep your eyes focused on yourself, and YOUR goals. We are each different, motivation is different, and abilities are different..

You go girl, and be the best YOU, you can be..

Cindy..

You're doing great! Don't let anyone play head games with you. If "someone's mom" had a lot more weight to lose, she might have lost more quickly, but maybe not. The question and comment seem to be a bit competitive to me. I'd.

Avoid.

Her in the future...

Some people are just dopes and don't think before they speak. They think since you had an operation, the weight will all come off at once. Like everyone else has said - you are doing a great job!..

Like everyone else is pointing out that's almost a pound a day girl! To put that in perspective, most people who Medifast diet try and lose 1-2 pounds a WEEK! I think 25 pounds is incredible. 10 pounds would be incredible. Enjoy your success and don't listen to "Debbie Downers." -Jenny..

Weight loss is very personal and varies between individuals. We have to take in to account our starting weight, BMI, co-morbidities, daily activity, and so on. -25 lbs in a month that is freaking fantastic. When was the last time we lost so much weight in one month?.

If you are obsessing that much about the scale get rid of it or have a family member hide it from you. A number should not define you. I am 2 months out and I only weigh myself at doctor's office. I know this tool is working for me b/c I track my food, get in my protein, and get in my daily activity. Weight fluctuates every day from simple things such as retaining water, sodium, even BM's impact your weight for the day, activity the day before- -so for me at least it is important not to get hung up on the numbers on the scale. I place my focus on leading a healthy lifestyle, vitamin regimen, and.

Exercise.

And it has panned out..

Best Wishes...
