Got a quick question: Are there any harmful affects of Medifast? Looking forward for any answer or 2. Another question on my mind: Welcome to Team Purple's Challenge Board. To get the nitty gritty out of the way... here is the rules:.

"New Year Meltdown" - The Challenge Rules.

Minimum Number of Team Members = 8.

Maximum Number of Team Members = UNLIMITED.

1. Actual Loss/Gain will be reported each week, per individual..

2. Points will be reported for consuming at least 64oz of water per day - max 7 points per week, per individual..

3. Points will be reported for On Plan each day, max 7 points per week, per individual..

Scores Will Be Calculated On A Percentage Basis:.

1. For the Loss/Gain it is the amount lost relative to the previous week weightgains DO count..

2. For Water it is the points (0-7) reported relative to the maximum points allowed (7).

3. For On Plan it is the points (0-7) reported relative to the maximum points allowed (7).

WEEKLY SCORES - (Weeks 1-6).

1. Accumulated percentages from the 3 categories will be added for each WEEKLY team score..

2. Scores for team members who reported in for the week are included..

FINAL OVERALL SCORE - (6 Week Accumulation).

1. Accumulated percentages from the 3 categories will be added for the final OVERALL team score..

2. This score INCLUDES ALL participants, dropped & MIA!.

Official weigh days are either Sunday or Monday of each week. Team participants MUST report their stats (Loss/Gain), Water & On Plan to their captain no later than Monday at 11:59pm EDT - please don't wait til the last minute!.

Team Members may have one (1) absence. The member is NOT counted during the week of their miss to calculate percentages. Upon their 2nd absence, they are dropped and will NOT be counted in future weeks. The missed weeks need not be consecutive for the team member to be dropped. Dropped Team Members WILL be included in the final OVERALL results..

If a team member does not check in by the weigh day deadline (Monday 11:59pm EDT).

& already has 1 absence, that person will be dropped..

So... to get us started, now that you all know the rules....

Please report your STATS here in this thread. Use the following format:.

So: + or - lbs/water/onplan. For example -1/7/7 If you lost one pound, and had required water 7 days and required days on-plan were 7..

Yup, although you might wanna make sure and wait for someone else to confirm it as I am unsure. Better yet, why don't you e-mail the Medifast guys because they can answer your Medifast question better...

Oh a goal for the WHOLE 6 weeks??? Wowsers... um... 15 pounds loss total... I hope to do double that but 15 is reasonable I think..
