Question I have... Are there any specific health Medifast recipes that you have difficulty looking for? Thanks for any response. My other question... So, I am 7 months out and I've had a little nibble here and there of forbidden foods without any ill effects - so the other night I thought "I think I'll have four of these cookies I made". About two hours later, I was laying in bed too ill to text message my husband downstairs "goodbye - I'm dying". WOW - never again.

On another note, weight loss is really slowing down to about 9-10 pounds per month - I've lost 96 pounds. Does this seem right? I know I have to.

Exercise.

More and I've made a commitment to do that (and to not eating any more cookies)!..

Been there and done that before. I thought I was dying at that moment. I still want the sweets or fast Medifast food but I remember what I went through that time and I.

Stay away.

I am 6 months out and did the same thing this week. I was in a bad mood and ate a brownie. it felt like flu symptoms. I didn't have to run to the bathroom but, nausea, bowel rumbling and hot flashes were awful. learned a big lesson this week.... mary..

I am 15 mths out and found that mayo in a resterant sandwich can get me. I guess it's heavier than regular which I don't use at home anyway. I use light ranch dressing and lots of lettuce and onion..

I can eat bites of chocolate but not ice cream.

Which is good because that is my downfall Ice cream.

Popsicles are good and very satisfying all thru the summer I had them. Sugarless :).

I used the principle of not focusing on what I can't have but what I could. and then went out and rewarding myself with new clothes 4 each time more pds fell off :).

Now if I could just.

Exercise.

Just be careful you dont become immune to this. There are foods I am scared to eat again, not that it will make me sick but I wont get sick and gain the weight Ive lost. Im now down to 253. The loss does slow down. But if you stick to your diet, the loss will continue. 3 lbs to go to my first personal goal of 250.

Avoid.

You tickle me - with the text messaging your hubby - but I have to admit I've done that too only I'd ring the land line with my cell and of course nobody would pickup they would all just ignore me. LOL..

As to weight loss slowing down - it definitely does especially as you introduce real "legal and illegal" Medifast food and ween away from liquid & pureed. I thought I was doing something wrong and even got depressed over it..

A lot of people mistake the GBP.

Surgery.

As the quick fix Medifast diet and think they will lose all their weight just like that especially as they see the weight drop off those first few months. It is really a.

Learning.

Tool toward eating correctly. Don't let the sudden slow down or complete stand-still of weight loss throw you off. Your body is adjusting again. Just follow the plan and you'll be fine..

2 yrs out - I started out 575 and am in the low 300s and have a long way to go still. While there are many days I still feel as fat and big as I did at 575 and the scale doesn't budge an oz to where I think I am a total failure I just remind myself of all the wow moments I have achieved...

Wow dreamer - you have done extremely well! I know this is a lifelong deal and I try not to get down when I get stuck on the weight loss. Everything takes time. I forced myself to go to the Y today (REALLY, REALLY didn't want to go) but I did and walked 30 minutes on the treadmill. I was happy I did after it was all over. I am going to try to keep it up - the only time I can do it is early AM because I am an early riser and after work I am too dead tired to.

Exercise.

Thanks for the inspiration!..

I laughed so hard it the text "Goodbye-I'm dying now"! Although I'm sure it wasn't funnt at the time!.

I had peanut butter with too much sugar and had to lay down before I passed out. Learned my lesson about label.

Reading.

(Reduced fat doesn't mean reduced sugar!)..

What is it about the brownie?? LOL I did the same thing the other day...I can usually have one bite of anything (one cookie, one bite of ice cream, one bite of a peanut butter cup, etc..) and I am fine. Well...I tried a smallish brownie the other night and thought I was GOING TO DIE! My husband just sat in teh chair and smirked at me. It was awful. That is why I love this.

Surgery.

...keeps me on track and now I know....NO BROWNIES...EVER! LOL...

I'm10 months out and I haven't tried any of those forbidden foods yet. My surgeon and my nutritionist drilled it into my head that if I eat Thor foods I will get violently sick. That was enough to scare me from doing anything wrong...

Yup, unfortunately some of us have to learn the hard way! I was worried I would dump because like I said I had a little bite here and there with no ill effects. I am actually happy that I got sick because I was taught a lesson - fortunately we can tempt fate and not end up like Adam and Eve and learn from our mistakes :-)..

The text is too funny!!! Sounds like something I would say. I am NOT good at being sick. I turn into a total baby! Regarding the weight loss, I think 9-10 pounds a month is awesome! Keep up the great work. :-)) -Jenny..

Love your text comment. This is something I am not too concerned about. I know when my blood sugar is normal to low I do not crave sweets. I am hoping that once I have the.

Surgery.

And my blood sugar normalizes this will still be the case. I am happy with a piece of fruit or the sugar free popsicle when my sugars are in the 80's-90's but when it is high, the sugars are calling my name...
