You betcha! but you might want to make sure and wait for another person to confirm this as I am not quite sure. Better yet, why don't you ask the Medifast guys because they can assist you better...

I'm here to throw my support (to give and receive). I'm on day #5 and can't wait to weigh in this Wednesday........Good luck to everyone. I'm finding that once I got past day #3, it did get easier. I started my Medifast on a Wednesday because I had read that the first three days were an "adjustment" period. So, what better way to keep busy then to start on a Wednesday while there were still days left in the workweek to keep me busy.....Well, I didnt' know I was going to be such a grouch...lol My co-workers are glad to see that my hormones have leveled off and I'm back to my happy self. Good luck to everyone!..

Hi there everyone,.

Just started on the 3 this month, and I did measurements yesterday. I've lost 5.6lbs in five days on this. Like kabarno said after the third day things seem to be evening out. I wish everyone the best of luck!..

I started March 1 and had my first weigh in today - I am down 10.4 pounds and back in the 200's! I love this plan so much..

I still get hungry from time to time, but the meals and water seem to help. I'm still finding my balance on that. I do have crazy energy now and that is a wonderful change from being a lump on my couch every evening..

Thanks for posting this, I have been looking for a group who is at the same place I am! Best wishes to you all...

Oh I hope it's the same with me. Tomorrow will be my third day. I was doing fine yesterday until I had my last Medifast meal (the banana creme shake) and then I felt nauseous. Woke up still feeling that way and I dreaded eating the food..

I stuck with it and just had my last meal (the brownie, which is quite good!). I feel so tired, I'm dragging. Tomorrow (Wed.) is my Day 3, so once I get through that, I hope it gets better..

I really want to do this! Best of luck to everyone here!.

This is my third day on program. I had lost 30 pounds on Medifast about 10 years ago and went from 229-190. I started at 189 two days ago and am going for the next 30 pounds. I have really changed the way I eat over the years and what is in my house as far as food is concerned. So it is exciting not to start from the beginning again. I remember when I was on the program for a while I felt real great.

Won't weigh myself for at least 2 weeks - I have an issue w/ any scale..

Pumped up to do this!! Good luck everyone!!!..

I have finished my first week of Medifast and have a long way ahead. But over 8 pounds (don't know why my ticker doesn't reflect it!) the first week is really nice. I had bypass surgery in 2003 and didn't lose all my weight. Made it to 99 pounds lost then it started creeping back and I lost my enthusiasm. So, I regained about 35. Now I am determined it's all going to go so I can retire and travel looking and feeling well enough to do it a long time. Hoo-rah!!..

Hello everyone! Today is day 1 for me. My only issue was with my tummy growling when I was in a meeting with my boss! It was the first of many things today, Medifast, a new job, quitting smoking, and trying to give up caffine. So hopefully I'll still have my fiancee by the end of the week!..

Consider me added to the "newbie" group. My first day was Thursday, March 17, 2011 and I plan to weigh tomorrow morning. I am nervous! I am so hoping I will have lost some weight this first week! I have been disappointed by that darn scale so many times. I want to really do it this time. I have to! I have tried so many things over the years, and I am hoping this will finally be my success. Thanks for creating this discussion board and I look forward to the support!.

Glad to see this new March group... I started 3/19 so on day 5. First day without a headache so I think I'm over that little hump. The food is pretty tasty so far and I am successfully drinking 1/2 my body weight in water every day but WOW the visits to the bathroom are crazy!.

I like logging the meals and visiting the discussion boards. Nice to know others are experiencing the same things..

Had to explain Medifast to my lunch buddies yesterday (3 guys)...they got very quiet. Anyone else experiencing that?.

Good Luck to all!.

End of week two. 12.1 pounds. Gained a few ounces from yesterday, but I am dealing with one of those major stressors in life, having to consider a nursing home for my mom. Yesterday left me with a fatigue and headache that were enormous. I missed on Medifast meal because I went to bed early. Didn't get all my water down.

Yesterday was just wrong! Back to chugging water, for sure!..

Hi! I didn't realize there were threads for starters for each month! Hope I can jump in now.

I started 3/10/11 and finished my second week on Thursday. I am down 13.8 lbs in two weeks and thrilled! I know the losses will slow down a bit, but the big first few weeks are really encouraging!.

I've been heavy off and on most of my life, the last 10+ years have been all heavy, heh. I did lose about 35 lbs a couple years ago just counting my calories, watching my carbs (trying to keep them btwn 100-150) and that was pretty easy. However, after a few months, I reverted back to old habits and forgot to get back on track after a vacation etc. Fast forward 2 years later and I had gained 30lbs of it back. Ugh. I have over 100lbs to lose and was feeling like it was insurmountable until I decided to try MF.

, I've not had anyone give me too much grief about Medifast yet but I have had a few people express concerns over the low calorie aspect. I just go into my speech about the 20% nutrients in each Medifast meal and how that fulfills your daily requirement.

Hopefully your lunch buddies will understand. Heck, if they are guys they might just forget about it after a few days anyway, hee! My two best friends at work are guys also and I think they would like to forget about it because I spend every break regaling them with tales of my fabulous L&G from the night before. I swear, if they hear about Cauliflower Pizza or Curried Cauliflower Rice and Chicken one more time, they might shoot me.

Congrats to all the March starters! We can do it!..

Hello, I haven't been in to post for a few weeks (it's hard to keep up with the many message boards I reply to)....but anyway, I ended by 4th week last Wednesday down 11 lbs. I was a little disappointed with my overall loss for the month but 11 lbs down is 11 lbs I don't have to carry around on my bad knees any longer. Tomorrow is another weigh-in and I hope I did well. Even if it's only 1 - 2 lbs, I'm learning that a loss is a loss no matter how much it is........Good luck to everyone at their weigh-in for this week!..

Hey everyone, glad to see everyone is doing well with the beginning of their plans. I had my WI yesterday and I was down 2.5 for the week. Not as much as I would have liked but I will take it. I haven't been off-plan yet so of course my body is adjusting to the lower calories and is going to make me work for each pound. But I keep looking at it day-by-day and each day is a step closer to being a thinner better me..

- I haven't really told anyone I am on Medifast (except my DH and DDs). My Coworkers know I am on a diet and they see the cup and shaker jar but no one has asked and I really don't want to get into a debate on this. I do feel like it is extreme in the reduced amount of calories per day but I had to do something extreme to get this to work. WW and JC just don't do it at 1lb per week if you are lucky. I will have to face my sisters in April and they will notice the bars and shakes. I will have to wait and see what they say..

- Don't be disappointed, 11lbs is nothing to sneeze at. That is great and I agree, 11lbs off your knees and feet is a great thing. Keep up the good work and stay strong..

Hope everyone has a good week,.

Don't you just hate to stay on program all week and then only loose a few pounds ;( I feel like the weight should just be melting off. I am starting to add more exercise to my day and see if this accelerates the process. Keep on drinking the water !!..

I started taking the Cheese Puffs with me when I go out to lunch. I order a garden salad with all veggies (no cheese no bacon). I then add a few puffs to salad - adding them all at once makes them soggy. It really makes a satisfying lunch...
