Quick question: Can you eat popcorn on the Medifast Diet? Looking forward for any answer. Another question on my mind: 100 pounds or more is a lot to lose... so, yes, it's going to take a LONG time. I started this journey almost 4 months ago, and while I still see some of the same faces on the blogs and boards, I do miss some of the gals I started this journey with... the ones who started some of these threads, only to never be heard from again. To any newbies, I do encourage you to stick with this... |

You betcha! although you might wanna make sure and wait for another member to confirm my answer as I am not very confident. Better yet, why don't you call the Medifast guys because they can give you help better...

Many of them may still lurk but not post anymore. Or they have settled into a different thread now. I visit a lot of threads but never post on some and measure my words on others...

I was thinking about doing a blog of the same sort. When you have been around as long as I have you start feeling like one of those old fogies on the porch of an old time store! "Remember when.........." "Whatever happened to............." "I walked to school is 6 foot of snow, uphill both ways."..

Pam, ha! Like, remember Medifast before pancakes or brownies?? :-) Smart Momma I know some don't post anymore or have moved on to other boards, I mean the ones whose pages you visit and they haven't logged on in months...

Hi Ladies,.
I couldn't help but stop and read this thread. The group I started with has dwindled down to a handful of us, but you know what, that's okay. Some old timers come back or email us about other things besides MF. When I reached goal, I "checked in" about once a week.. Well after 6 months off of Medifast I have gained 9 pounds and the waistbands (no elastic!) have started getting a little tight. SO, I placed an order and will be back on a daily basis just to read up on new products, hear suggestions, recipes, etc.. I consider the ladies in my group real friends, not just Medifast friends.. Best of luck to all of you! Looks like you are all doing well!.. |

I started at about the same time you did and it is sad to see people come and go-Especially when they started out doing so awesome. It actually tends to get me a little down and go into a self doubt thing-like can I really do this for 2 years straight?? I just thank God that there is the steadfast and reliable group that is here, day in and day out. I draw strength and motivation from that daily..

I will share my secret ... I consider my self an oldtimer. I was on Medifast before they had this cool site! I came back many times, but under a different screen name(s). So many people knew my "name" here, and I was embarassed for them to see that I had gained back all that weigh after having my son. Then, a few weeks ago, I decided to come back to on here as the old me. I have nothing to hide, and I am no longer ashamed.
I had a baby. I gained a lot of weight. I am here to lose it again... |

I know I need to get back on the boards and back on MF. I have an order coming tomorrow I hope. Nice to see those of you that have been around and stuck it out. I am that.....good on the boards when I am doing well...and not so much posting when I am not. Most of you know how that goes. March was 3 years since I had my first round with Medifast and did awesome..but then I just went down hill from them.
I keep trying on and off..but I cant' seem to stay motivated.. Hoping I can get into that frame of mind and get back at it full force here.. Hugs to everyone..old and new...........:-).. |
