My question is Can you give me Medifast recipes for egg free cakes/cookies? Many thanks for any response. 2nd question I got is.. Just wanted to vent a little cuz I'm feeling crappy this morning. I know I haven't posted for awhile, and feel a little bad it's not better news but, it is what is is I guess..

Lastnight I was sitting on the couch before bed and started to get this annoying little pain in my left side. I didn't think much about it, figured it was gas or something. By the time an hour had passed it was getting more painful, so I took some.

Tylenol.

Pm hoping to get some.

Sleep.

Needless to say, it didn't work and I spent most of the night trying to.

Sleep.

And in quite a bit of pain. Pain is still there this morning, so I am trying to drink some fluids and hoping it will go away here soon so I don't have to go to the doctor..

My brother said what I was describing sounded like what he felt when he had kidney stones...but I'm wondering if any of you have had experience with this. It feels like someone socked me in the kidney area (back of my left side) but the pain shoots up around the side and a little to the front also...I typically have a very high pain tolerance, but damn this hurts..

Normally something like this I would ignore, but after gbs I always get paranoid anytime I get weird pains, being that my insides have been rearranged, I'm never sure of what complications there could be..

Off to try and get a little rest. Any feedback is always appreciated..

Xo Alysha..

Yup, but... you might want to make sure and wait for another commenter to confirm this as I am not very confident. Better yet, why don't you email the Medifast guys because they can answer you better...

Does it hurt more when you move a certain way? How about when you contract all of your muscles in your torso?.

Could be a kidney stone. Push fluids and if you have a fever, immediately see your doctor..

Best wishes!..

Sounds like kidney stones to me too. Lots and lots of water and an urgent care visit is usually my solution. Super easy for us post-ops to get dehydrated and that is the kiss of death for me and my friends "The Stones".

Feel better!.

Hope.

It eases soon...

I've had similar issues. I'm six years post.

Surgery.

I get severe cramping and had a night just like yours two nights ago. Went to the dr. (my pain is less specific than yours) and she has ordered a cat scan just to rule a few things out, but because of my rearranged insides, she thinks it might be my bowels getting kinked or adhesions from previous.

Surgery.

Causing problems (I've had heria.

Surgery.

Twice). Good luck and I'll let you know how I make out. Hang in there. Try a.

Hot tub.

Of water; as hot as you can take it. Sometimes that alleviates the cramping...

I passed 2 kidney stones. It was very painful. I suspect that it had a little to do with my.

, since my body is processing the Medifast food differently. I'm hoping not to get any more, and they didn't see any more on the MRI but you never know. I have pretty much cut out all.

Since I'm pregnant and the dr told me that would be the best way to.

*UPDATE*.

Just got back from the doctor. I waited until today because I really didn't feel like spending my entire evening in the ER yesterday even though I was in quite a bit of pain. Well, I have a bladder infection, kidney infection and possible kidney stones. He have me antibiotics but no pain meds (gee thanks,.

Tylenol.

Isn't quite cutting it) and told me if after 3-5 days the pain doesn't get better, or gets worse before then to head to the ER for a scan to check for stones. Thanks everyone for the advice..

Don't mess with your kidneys, get thee to a doc. I had what they thought were kidney stones and at the end of the festival of pain I was on.

Dialysis.

For 2 months...

Can you make appt w kidney doc directly in your system? It takes awhile to get in sometimes, and a bit more evaluation seems warranted. Waiting can make it worse.....

I have had kidney stones and the pain is so excruciating. It can come and go but when it get bad it's oh, so bad. I can't believe they didn't give you any pain meds..

If the pain gets worse I would do as the doc said and go in to the ER to get checked for stones. I think they should have already checked in my opinion. If you wait too long the pain may become literally unbearable..

I was once without insurance, knew I had a stone, but decided to tough it out on my own. By the time I gave in and called my sister to rush me to the ER I was in so much pain I was vomiting out the window and.

Screaming.

In pain the whole ride to the ER. It was truly terrible..

That is the last thing you want to deal with especially when you are still healing from WLS. Please take care of yourself. Btw, the ER nurses and docs will know how much pain kidney stones can cause and should triage you in right away, at least to manage your pain while you wait to get an xray or scan..

Good luck and keep us updated! -Jenny..
