Quick question: Difference between atkins and Medifast Diet ?!!? Thanks for any answer or 2. Second question of mine... Hello, I am brand new to Medifast , just placed my order today. I weight 279 pounds and I am 5'1 on a good day. I have 2 children, a wonderful hubby, and 2 furry babies. I could really use some buddies.

I have a major addiction to Drpepper and I am trying to bring myself to start giving it up.

Matter a fact I get Drpepper for presents, I have family and friends give me those huge cubes wrapped up! It is all I needed. I tend to drink my calories and not eat that much..

I am currently staying home, my ds had some medical issues and needed to come out of school for a few months. I have a great sense of humor and love to talk. I hope to get to know each of you soon..

Hi Miranda and Tina.

I'm fairly new also, tomorrow completes my first week and I'm really thrilled with the program. I hope it's enough to keep me on track. I can relate to the skipping meals, though I don't so much drink my calories as eat to much junk food, I'm a junk food junkie. Thats been the challenge this past week, tto not stop at sonic for a blast and to walk past the candy aisle at the store..

Have either of you considered getting a health coach? I'm seriously thinking about it, I'm just not sure how to decide if a person is the right coach for me..

I'm really looking forward to cheering on your successes and being here for you when the challenges come up!..

Thank you all for responding! I just placed my order today. So I am waiting patiently for it to arrive..

My Drpepper addiction started when I was very young. I cannot drink milk, matter a fact, I cannot have dairy at all. So my mom swears she put pepsi in my bottle. There are pictures of me holding a bottle and the contents are dark. I love my mom, she did what she thought best..

Miranda my hubby is 6'1, ex-navy, while not skinny, he is not fat by any means. He is very nice looking. So I understand what you are saying..

Odrisck I think there is a section on here (the forums) to request a health coach. The junk food really doesn't taunt me. Now don't get me wrong I love a good hamburger. I could live on Drpepper and whoppers lol..

Ghostmom23 I love carbs also! I do not like crunchy food. I love oatmeal and soft sandwiches. I hope the Medifast oatmeal is good..

By the way I sent friend request to all of you...

I hope we can support each other as we go on this journey together!..

Well, I just wrote a 6 minute comment here, and I got so excited to meet you all that I went up to subscribe to this thread before I posted my comment. So now I lost all that..

Suffice it to say that the health coaches work for Take Shape For Life, and it's a multi level marketing branch of Medifast. So if you sign up, you will order through them and they make a little money off you. Just to let you know..

If you want a coach, I highly recommend Justpraisin, Carol Roberts and a guy named Dave whose last name I can't remember. They are very successful on Medifast and are maintaining well..

Go to.

And click on the Learning tab. Read it all, print out the food guidelines and memorize them before you get your food. It will help you make the transition easier. The faqs there are awesome, too..

Education, education, education and commitment, commitment, commitment is all you need to be successful on MF..

Read the pages of lealonnie1, justpraisin, Corbie, jojo1, and chattymomx4. Go back and read their blogs from when they began. Great inspiration and they are all maintaining well..

Lots of friends on here for you gals. Just find us..

My advice; use the MyPlan religiously, log everything and I mean everything that touches your lips. It is amazing to learn how it is we actually got so fat!.

Come to these boards, read, ask questions, ask for help and make new friends. This is the one place you will find where everyone "gets it".

Get your heads in the game, you have to want this for you, you have to be ready and willing to give up the habits that made you fat in the first place..

I've been here for almost 9 months.

I no longer outweigh DH, I am way under him for the first time in 21 or so years!.

I feel amazing and I have so much energy.

My family is eating better and learning to be healthy.

I have learned it is okay to take care of me, not just my kids or DH and I have discovered that it is also okay for me to put me first when I need to. It's not selfish it is self preservation..

I wish you all success on your Medifast journey!..

Hi all, I am not new but I am trying to get restarted. I thought it would be good for me to link up with some enthusiastic newbies..

I am a school teacher and summer is finally here so I have way more time to plan out good meals and get my butt in gear with some exercise. Of course, I am also by myself a lot more and I am definitely a closet eater. That said....I was OP all day yesterday and planning to be OP all day today. I look forward to reading of all your successes..

When I first joined while I was waiting for my order to arrive I went out and bought a bunch of South Beach bars and some slim fast shakes enough for about 4 or 5 days and did that Before my order arrived.....while I was motivated I figured I would "get into mode". Lost doing that so it was a nice way to start..

Looking forward to seeing how everyone is doing...

Not new, but looking for buddies..

Good morning new and not so new people! For the last few months, I have been bouncing up and down the scale going over and over the same 20 pounds. It is frustrating, to say the least. I am hoping that by checking in with this thread, I may to able to jumpstart myself and finish that last 50 pounds I need to lose to reach goal!.

I also am a teacher. Summer break does not begin for me for another two weeks. Jomarie, good to see you! I know exactly what you mean about being alone and eating...DH has been very busy coaching and playing softball. I have stayed home and ate in retribution hurting myself with every bite....sigh. I can't believe I have put almost twenty pounds back on! 180 this morning and I am having trouble with the ticker maker so I can't get it to update properly!.

So now I am back here hoping to get my momentum going again. Enthusiasm is contagious! Pass it on!..

Hi All,.

I am also newer to the program, started 5/29 and defintiely looking for buddies. I am on through Take Shape For Life (TSFL) so I have a Health Coach....but it was so good to see TexasLiz confirm what I thought...t's actualy my OB/GYN that I met for the 1st time & he more or less said ... Hi nice to meet you you need this program.... which was a bit of a turn off as it always seems all doctors say..lose weight, quit smoking , lower your stress...but don't really listen to anything else, but this guy really paid attention and I was there for 2 hours. I faced the truth that no matter how he approached me the bottom line was I need to get healthy a& lose the weight. As for the coaching, it's been limited since I started but I also haven't reached out.

For me, I did kinda eat some of my favorite foods & was trying to gear up mentally when my package came about 5 days earlier thatn I though on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. I had planned ot start the next week, but thought someone was sending me a message by getting the food to me within 2 days of my order & ready for a 3 day weekend start..

Well not to write a novel, but my problem isn't any one food or group but more the " See food & eat it" in large quantities. I am closing in on 50 in 1.5 yrs & have been trying to get back to my pre-baby weight for 19 years now. Each time I learn & adopt something new, but just can't seem to limit portions enough and am always hungry. Week 1 was fine for me, but this week I am really hungry..

I know that you will learn new habits and find ways to make it work for you and if you step off one day, learn from it & get back on the horse and you will be fine..

Looking forward to keeping up with all my new buddies,.

Need to figure out how to set up my signature so I don't have to copy/paste my ticker each time..

(Think of Donkey in Shrek - Oh - pick me, pick me!).

I am also brand new. Both my mom and I are doing this together. I have a lot more weight to lose than her, though. I topped over 300 and she topped over 200. My dad stroked out 2 years ago in April and we both just stress ate like crazy settling the estate. I gained 90 pounds in 18 months! I would very much love to have company on this journey to weight loss..

Our first shipment arrived Friday and we already each broke our own personal barrier (aka the big "3" for me & the big "2" for her. Quite excited. I know it wont last long, this is just our system in the initial VLCD phase but I am losing probably a pound a day. I don't own a scale but my clothes fit so much easier! I happened to have a Dr. appt Monday which is how I found out I broke my barrier (299!) and my mom saw her Dr on Tuesday. I think she is buying a scale tomorrow..

I hope I wont offend anyone by saying that most of the variety pack was VILE and we shipped back all the oatmeal and cappucino from both sets. We were really considering cancelling our membership but I went on line and took a leap of faith and ordered MORE FOOD. I truly believe it was a sign from Gd (or my father who was ALWAYS after us to lose weight - LOL!) that BOTH our doctors each recommended Medifast to us within mere days. The second batch arrived and SAVED us..

Sorry - but we can NOT live on shakes & bars. I don't know who does their marketing but seriously - they should consider throwing in some snack food as promo into that variety pack! The second box came and we are in Foodie heaven! We have not even tried it all yet but we now have what can actually PASS as REAL FOOD - pretzels, cheese balls, BROWNIES, chilli, stew, etc. My mouth is watering!!!!.

The return process was so EZ! I actually just did it yesterday and have to ship it over the weekend. They were SO NICE! We are exchanging the oatmeal & cappucino for banana pudding and chicken & wild rice soup - that is all quite yummy..

My biggest barrier to weight loss is being married to a bean pole who MUST eat 4000+++ calories daily or he will pass out. He can actually consume that many calories in one sitting and often does! He has started to HIDE the food which helps me a little... but I KNOW the chocolate and snacks are there. We are working on solutions for this problem... hence my name... Jack Sprats Wife!!! LOL!!!..

Hi JackSprat's Wife ( and mom).

Love your name, so funny. Congrats on hitting your first major milestone, that's an quick awesome feeling. My 2nd weigh in is tomorrow. I use the Wii for consistency. I did 1.5 hrs of gardening tonight so hoping it served as my last chance workout & burned some extra..

I can't complain, I so far have tried everything in the variety pack & liked it all. I have had a few days this week where I was literally starving, but it seems to have passed nowI guess my so called healthy choice for L&G at PF Changs last Friday knocked me off and caused me to have to restart the burning phase causing me the extra hunger... Lesson Learned!.

Well sounds like you, Dawn & Katie are well on your way. Let us know how you are making out!.

Hi Everyone!.

I'm fairly new, too... and I think it would be easier with buddies to share some of this with than without..

That said - I think I found the right group of people, because when I was reading through, several of you are teachers ... ME TOO! It's so hard to eat healthy with the kids (especially since I'm required to eat a lunch, at a table, in the community, with the kids, every day during the school year)... but I found a way to make it work and now that we're on summer vacation ... I'm totally 100% OP all the time!.

I wanted to stop by and say hi... I'm not sure how to request friends, etc., but I'm 5'2 on a good day and I'm aiming to lose about 55 pounds. I've been overweight for a while - not sure exactly how I got there, but there I am..

I'm a carboholic - I love french fries ... but since starting MF, I don't crave carbs like I use to..

Anyway, hope you're all having a great night!.

Be sure to read some of the forums and recipes for the oatmeal. This oatmeal is not like the oatmeal you are used to. I can't get it down, but some of the recipes on this forum sound really good using the oatmeal. Here are some recipes for cakes, muffins, pancakes and bars that I copied into a Word document and am pasting here for you to find easilyall of you newbies! I have only been on the program 4-1/2 weeks, so I'm fairly new myself. Hope you enjoy theseI haven't tried them yet..

1 pkg. shake mix.

1/4 tsp. baking powder.

2 Tbl. egg beaters.

1 Tbl. water.

1 TbL. SF FF syrup.

Mix your baking powder and 1 TBL. of the egg beaters together until frothy (I think this is the key)Add the rest of the wet ingredients and give it a little swirl. Add the shake mix and mix well until there are no lumps. Put in a small micro-wave safe cereal bowl that you've sprayed with Pam. Microwave for.....this will depend on your own microwave, but I only have to cook mine for 1 minute and 12 seconds. Comes out perfect every time.

Preheat oven to 425 degrees..

1 Packet Medifast Oatmeal.

1/8 t baking powder.

1/4 t cinnamon.

1/2 t vanilla extract.

1 packet Spenda.

2 T egg whites or 1 large egg white.

Slightly less than 1/3 c water (but more than 1/4 c).

Mix all the dry ingredients first then add the wet ingredients and fold them together with a spatula until there's a nice batter a bit thicker than cake mix. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to soak. If it looks like it's getting too much like oatmeal, add a t of water at a time until it returns to a semi-thick batter consistency..

Spray muffin tins with Pam and fill 2 cups 1/2 to 2/3 full..

Cook for 13-17 minutes, checking every two minutes after 12 minutes. The top will be a deep golden brown when they're all done..

Don't forget to count the egg white as L&G and Splenda/Cinnamon condiments..

1 packet of Oatmeal (I used Maple).

1/4 cup of eggbeaters (subtract from Lean).

2 tbsp of water.

1/4 cinnamon.

1/4 vanilla extract.

Mix.... pour onto sprayed waffle maker..

Next time I am pouring it across both sides of the waffle maker... this one came out VERY THICK as you can see in the 1st picture..

1 pkg. Oatmeal.

2 tbsp. SF Syrup - I use Starbuck's SF Vanilla (1 condiment).

3 tbsp. water.

1/4 tsp. baking powder-aluminum free (1/2 condiment).

Spray plastic container with Pam. Empty oatmeal and baking powder and stir. Add wet ingredients, stir, and let sit for 5-6 minutes (this is key). Microwave for 1 minute (1100 watt microwave). If you don't want to use a condiment, you can use all water, but it won't be as sweet...

By the way, another "tip" is to let any of the items you add water to have an opportunity to soak for 30+ minutes to help rehydrate them. They will taste so much better if you do that. I actually add the water to my soups in the morning and then heat them up at lunch and they are just right by then. If you don't give them time to soak and rehydrate, they are kind of grainy and a little on the "hard" side. This really helps. Also, if you like hot sauce, add it to the soups, stews, and chili.

Keep your eyes focused on your weight loss goal for a longer, healthier life!..

Since we are all new, don't know if any of you had this happen, but slept late (usually up around 4-5am) since we were up late watching movies, we slept in..

Didn't get up until after 8 - by time I ate it was almost 9.30.

Was so queasy didn't think I could keep down the Medifast scrambled eggs..

Then I started getting the shakes really bad..

Called hubby down and asked for my blood sugar kit..

I don't have diabetes but it is a remnant from when I had gestational diabetes while pregnant..

My BS was really low!.

I ate another bar while I was testing and started to feel better shortly after the bar was gone..

Usually by 10am. I would have already had 3 Medifast meals..

So, I waited another hour and had a shake & began 2 feel almost normal..

That little episode was scary!.

I think if I stay up that late I need to eat an extra Medifast b4 bedtime.

And then plan to leave a bar at bedside for a quick BS pickup if I sleep late.

On the weekends..

Any thoughts?..

I am new! I just finished my first week of Medifast and had my first weigh-in yesterday (11 pounds! Gah!).

So far, amazing. I wasn't sure if I would have lost much weight at all because I didn't feel hungry all week. I was just happy that I was feeling SO much better!.

I'm also a sweets/junk eater, so I think Medifast provides a lot more nutrition than I was getting before - so feeling better is a huge bonus to losing weight..

There is medifast center close to where I live so I enrolled there. I like the support - I can walk in and ask a quick question, which I did last week, and I have weekly appointments, have a doctor monitoring my information (had blood tests done when I enrolled), etc. For me the support and knowing I am going to be reporting in really got me through the first couple of days...

When I was doing the 5/1 plan, I would have a shake for breakfast. Then I would get my soup soaking for lunch with regular water, not cold water. I would leave it on the counter and put a plate over the bowl to keep it clean and so that the water wouldn't evaporate. After I cooked the soup and had it for lunch, I would get more soup soaking for an afternoon snack..

The beef stew is just awesome and filled with chunks of what.

Looks and tastes.

Like beef, carrots and potatoes..

I also split the Medifast multigrain crackers into 2 servings. They are a snack. I think there are 14 crackers, so have 7 with lunch and 7 more later. They are bland by themselves, but with soup or salad they are awesome..

I did not use ANY recipes at all. I felt that if I was in the kitchen messing around with the packages and the program, it would be OLD behavior. I was trying to develop a new relationship with food, and cooking and recipes was not part of that. And it worked for me. I'm in maintenance now and not having a hard time at all. I have new healthy habits that still don't require recipes.

NO preservatives, chemicals or additives anymore for me, or my DH. We want to live and not have cancer, arthritis, or other diseases. We are older and about out of time to preserve our good health..

You all just keep on staying 100% on plan every hour of every day. Before you know it, you will have new habits, too, and be a thinner, happier, healthier person..

God Bless All of You,.

I'm with you Tina and everyone else, started monday, weighed in @docs office 2 weeks ago @279lbs, (don't own a scale). Going to my docs office every tuesday to weigh in. I'm so excited and a little nervous, I'm praying this time I'll see results. You name it I've done it. Figurines (that dates me back to the 70's), weight watchers, jenny craig, atkins, low fat (remember Stop the Insanity lady?), American Heart Association diet (ugh, couldn't eat hotdogs for a long time), cabbage soup (the soup started to make my skin smell like cabbage, it seemed to seep through my pores), microdiet, ALLI, dexatrim, fen-fen, nutrisystem, I know I've miss something, but I think I made my point! Then after my 5th child, I developed hypothyroidism, WELL if that doesn't make you feel like a sluggish couch potato! I've lost weight with all of them, but never LEARNED to make healthy decisions so the weight came back and multiplied. So I would be proud to start this healthy journey together!..

I just have to say to all the other newbies - you HAVE to read some posts - WOW - I have been spending time over the last 2 weeks reading posts - especially recipes and the dieticians posts - I have learned SO MUCH! So many GREAT IDEAS out there!!!.

(Especially about all I was doing WRONG and how to get into ketosis.LOL!).

BTW - I tried both the ice cold water AND allowing the soups and shakes to rehydrate LONGER and WOW - what a HUGE improvement in taste and texture!.

So many posts talked about sugar free syrups and I could not find any locally, so I went on line and ordered Torani sugar-free syrups. MMMMMM You could lose your mind just reading all the flavors. We bought Almond Roca, Almond, Hazelnut, and Brown Sugar Cinnamon. The last was for things like oatmeal - which I REALLY miss! - maybe some low carb french toast if I can find some low carb bread. I actually returned my oatmeal because I found it just too revolting to choke down. Now, I may have to re-order and try it with SF brown sugar cinnamon syrup and see if that helps..

I tried some Almond Roca SF syrup in my Medifast vanilla shake last night and my mom added some to her coffee. She has missed coffee because she always loads up on the flavor shots and milk and/or flavored creamers - which are now a big no-no for calories & sugar..

I also found Stewarts No Sugar Added Reduced Fat Vanilla Ice Cream only has 80 calories and only 4 carbs per 1/2 cup. They were having a sale on pints and we stocked up! We were missing ice cream and a table spoon or 2 goes great the chocolate brownie! I also put 1/4 cup into my Medifast strawberry creme shake at night for a yummy milk shake. MMMMMM.

I have been trying to make time to weigh myself in the morning as I figured from all the posts I have read that seems to be the ideal time. My mom bought "the biggest looser" scale for us to share while we lose weight - and I reached another goal - broke 290! (289.2!) Very excited. ONLY one more pound and I will weight exactly what I weighed one year ago! June 2009 I was 288 - so I will have reversed one years weight gain in less than one month! I am loving Medifast so far...

Have you all tried the log pages? I LOVE those! Now that I have more than two full weeks in I can get a really great report and overview of my weight loss activities. I was playing with that last night. It really helps me 'day-to-day' to see the nutrition information - especially carb counts now that I better understand that is my key to losing weight. I figured out how to put in my own food like the ice cream we just bought...

I am sorry I have not posted for awhile. I will update you on what has happened.....

On my birthday I was doing great (june 10th) the family was happy and we were relaxing and enjoying the day. I had a shake for breakfast and 3 egg whites with Medifast oatmeal pancakes (just mix and water) for mid-morning. About 30 mins after I ate I am positive I hit ketosis and my body when insane. I told my husband I had a horrible taste in mymouth with I figured was the ketosis, then my head started pounding, and I felt very weak. I went and laid on the sofa. I laid for about an hour the phone rang, it was my MIL wishing me happy birthday.

I remember standing at the phone then things going black. YES, I passed right out. Of course it freaked the family out. I came out of and hubby called the doctor and took me in. She freaked out when he told her what I had been doing.

My color came back and she let me go home. My husband stopped and got me a Drpepper and said he wanted me to drink it. It took me 4 days to gain my strength back. I am very disappointed in what happened. Apparently I went into shock when I hit ketosis.

I am still considering coming back to Medifast after we move and doing the 4-2 program. The saddest part was I weighed that morning and I had lost 6 pounds in those few days. I know it was mostly water, but still it makes me sad. I am feeling much better now and working on packing the house..

Side note: we have been under tremendous stress and my husband's job is reloctating him to the boonies and I will be loosing my job completely. I do not know if this had anything to do with what happpened or not...

I don't think you "hit" ketosis like that.

... sounds like a possible low blood sugar episode combined with stress/fatigue?.

Two weekends in a row I have had episodes similar to yours..

I woke up really early - did not eat - either went back to sleep and/or started chores without eating first. Came on suddenly - headache, weakness, dizzy, nausea, shakes - my whole body was shaking..

I honestly could not survive on the few calories allowed by the Medifast 5&1. I read through the boards and discovered people talking about the diabetic option of 4&2&1 - 4 Medifast meals, 2 L&G and 1 snack. I switched over to that as it allows 1200 calories. Depending on the day though - I have gone a bit higher - 1300+ yesterday according to my log. I think I am just too big of a woman and too used to eating larger portions. My stomach has shrunk - I know I eat a lot less at dinner now than I used to - so portion control is working! I still have to eat a lot more in the morning when I am most active.

My DH has been out of work since September - which is why I gained an extra 20 pounds since last year. From Jan-May I gained over 10 pounds from stress eating..

Hope your transition is smooth and things get better. There are other ways to lose weight if this does not work for you. Don't let the Dr or your family get on you about the high protein low carb lifestyle. You need to find out what works for YOU - and then do it - even if they don't know. I discovered years ago that my body is metabolically challenged (I don't have a thyroid and I had gestational diabetes with both pregnancies) so HPLC diets work great for me! I need to eliminate sugar and flour. Of course, knowing is always easier than doing ... LOL!..

@Tina, I'm sorry to hear about what happened. I think the 4&2&1 plan might be a good idea for you..

@UKbutterfly, Yay!! It's summmer!!.

I am ending my second week on Medifast and am down 10.5 pounds!! I'm super excited. I hope to lose an additional 10 pounds over the next 4 weeks. My new shipment of food comes on Thursday and I was able to buy some food from a friend that is on maintenance and had some left over packets..

I have done really well on the program for the most part. Still trying to cut wine out of my diet. I waitress so I have been cutting back significantly on my regular exercise. I didn't want to overdo it since waitressing burns a lot of calories from the contant walking..

I like the food. I look forward to both the oatmeal and the soups because they fill me up. I will have to try soaking the soup though..

Hope everyone is doing well..

PS Where does one get SF Almond Rocha syrup?..

Try this link - see if it works -.

Http://www.worldpantry.com/cgi-bin/n... rfnbr=3034592.

Wait until you see all the great flavors!.

They come from California - so depending on where you live - it may take awhile..

I am in NY - so it took a whole week..

You may even be able to find them locally and save S&H $..

We had no luck finding them locally here and had to order on line...

Hi Kat! I see from your page we have lots in common - about the same weight, both from NY and both Aries - and you love the Medifast brownie - I have to say allowing us only one fave is tough to choose. I picked the banana pudding - but that Brownie is right up there for a chocolate fix! Especially since I found Stewarts no sugar reduced fat vanilla ice cream is only 80 cals & 4 grams carbs. I put a TBSP or 2 on a brownie or in my shakes at night for a "milkshake" experience. YUMMY!.

Good luck with your Medifast journey!..

So this is a bit whiny - feel free to ignore it - but I just had to talk to someone who can understand!.

I made my first 20!.

I was so excited and I wanted to share with someone that could understand how great I felt. Not getting a lot of support here, so hoping for some rah-rah- from my Medifast team mates..

I was so stoked when I saw the scale and when I called my mom to tell her I made my goal she was going on about how she bet I lost 30 pounds already.

- she does not get that is NOT motivating me, that makes me feel bad. I just told her a few days ago that I was ALMOST at 20 pounds and I was so excited because I was SURE I would be there by the weekend! I am not going to magically lose 30 pounds over night. She is doing this with me and we are losing at about the same rate, me a little more than her BUT, I also weight 100 pounds more than her to start, so it seems fair to expect I would lose a bit faster..

My sister dropped 100 pounds too by working out like crazy - she is a SAHM and was able to install a complete home gym in her basement - all pro equipment - and hire a personal trainer to help her. So all I hear for the last year is how great she feels and how I can do it too....

Ummm ... yea - I work for a living, have 3 young kids, a disabled hubby and I am taking care of my mother's and grand-father's finances since my dad died..

MF really is the answer for my life style right now. I would LOVE to work out - but the best I can manage is about 5-10 minutes every morning before I shower..

UGH. I just wanted to be HAPPY and excited - and I wanted others to be excited and happy for me - instead I got frustrated. Thanks for listening my fellow MFs...

Hello JackSpratsWife,.

It has been a few days since this post. As there is not a ticker at the bottom in your signature, I don't know how the last few days have been for you. Are you still being successful? How far past 20 have you gone?.

Reading the literature tells us NOT to exercise the first three weeks on the program. This is to give our body time to adjust to the plan and the different energy levels. Once we do, we should never go over the 45 minute time limit. I started with 30 minutes on a treadmill at home at 3 miles an hour. I got up an extra hour in the morning so that I could do that and spend about 30 minutes cruising this web site. Is this something that you could fit into your schedule? If not, how about 30 minutes at the park with your young kids? A walk around the block moving up to a brisk walk, then a jog?.

I hope you are well. Those of us who visited here for a time? Where have you all gone? LOL I have managed several OP days in a row and hope you are all doing the same...

I usually just barely have time to pop in & out and cant waste time with the extra effort of cutting & pasting the tickers into my posts. I always figure folks can visit my page. That is what I do when I want to learn more about others..

Just finished week 4 and as I said I have continued my exercise because it is such a short part of my morning routine. I have not started a new program as I still have little or not time. I do find in the good weather we spend a lot more time outside with the kids and get plenty of exercise without even trying - so it is not formal "work out" - just having fun - going to parks, swimming, etc...
