Quick question: Do all of the horses owned by Nutrisystem have the name Candy in them? Hoping for any response. My 2nd question... Help,. |

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer to your question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I got an good answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably know..

I wouldn't worry too much about a couple week stall. Your body may just be taking some time to adjust to the changes and the mini fluctuation, or it may just be doing some building that you can't see. Whatever it is, it will pass with time..
Stick with the plan, drink the water and don't give up... |

My money says that you'll see a 1 lb/day drop for 2-3 days any day now. That's the fun times. The times you're in now are the not-so-fun times, but don't let it throw you. Eat a couple Blueberry Muffins and see what comes out..

He's right..
I gotta tell you - I thought I hit a plateau for about a week and barely cranked out a pound or two. All of a sudden - the past TWO days I have dropped 3 pounds. (Look at my chart - 10 days for 3 pounds, then 3 pounds in 2 days!). Literally 4 days ago I posted on the April Challenge thread that there was no way I'd hit 224 by April 30th but...BAM!. Point is this - stick to it. Never give up never surrender.. Aside from that, I think that you should crank your exercise routine (mix it up, increase intensity, really push it), make sure you are eating enough (seems like you are), and drink MORE water.. There are no rules against peeing and pooping away the pounds. :-).. |

Yeah, I'm not a doctor, but I would imagine that as we lose this weight, periodically our bodies do some recalibrating on their own and that may be what you're experiencing. Keep up the water intake and don't get discouraged..
Also remember muscle weights more that fat so you may be gaining some muscle mass.. We all have faith in you.. You can do it!.. |

I been stuck for a month now just about. But this morning I weighed and lost 2lbs. Not great. But I am trying to keep in mind I am down a total of 38lbs so far. Started Jan 20th of this year. So overall I am pleased with my weight loss.
My clothes fit better and I feel better and that is all that matters to me at this point... |

You mentioned that you are only eating between 1350 and 1480 calories a day. You might not be eating enough calories as your daily intake should be at least 1500. If you are exercising more than usual that also is subtracting calories. You might want to consider adding a protein serving such as a protein shake and if you are working out a lot you might want to also add another fruit serving. If you are not eating enough calories your body will go into starvation mode and store fat. I added more protein and fruit into my diet on days that I work out hard and noticed that I am losing more weight after a long plataea. Keep it up! You've come a long way...

Thanks All,.
Don't worry I ain't throwing in the towel I'm happy with the progress I was just concerned that I might have missed something. I guess I'm just in that "trying time".. I feel thinner/lighter and things fit better I'm just not seeing it in the numbers.. I guess I'm different I acually LIKE the Blueberry bombs and they don't seem to affect me the same way. John.. |

That's great, Fly. Sounds like you've got a good thing going. If you still feel stuck, Jamesmaron had a really good suggestion. I had to add 330 cal in the form of a protein drink to get me off of a workout-induced stall. I now add one Bannana-Creme Muscle Milk every day I go to the gym. I hit it pretty hard, though - approx 400-500 cal workout w/weight training and aerobic stuff almost every day.
Results to be announced in another 2-3 months.. Gordon.. |
