Quick question... Do Hoodia Gordonii Nutrisystem diet Pills Work? Thanks for any response. Another question on my mind: The food has been pretty darn good, too.. |

Good question... I dunno what is the answer to that question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I discover an useful answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could answer your Nutrisystem question..

Welcome, BigJG gave you great advice. Post regularly - and DRINK THE WATER..
|
|
Welcome!.
...now go drink some water...(do you sense a theme here?).. |

Welcome to the Men's Room!.
Personally, I think the BBQ beef, beans and rice is grossly under-rated as a fine dinner.. If you haven't heard already, do the following:. 1. Drink the water. 2. Read this link:. Http://boards.members.nutrisystem.co...ad.php?t=88082. 3. Drink the water. 4. Exercise regularly. 5. Drink the water. 6. Visit the Men's Room as regularly as you exercise.. 7. Drink the water.. |

Welcome aboard. wash your hands on the way out..
It gets kind of dirty in here at times.. Be real and you'll get real advice and real a$$ kicking. When needed.. Oh yea DRINK THE FREAKING WATER.. |
|
Dude if you can eat those BBQ soy chips, you'll be just fine. Now the BBQ Beef, bean and rice that's a different story. Put that on a bed of steamed cabbage (cooked with a ton of tabasco), your salsa serving and life is good..
Plenty of good old fashioned butt-kicking support to be had in the Men's room. Damn fine group of fellas who know what they're talking about (at least when it comes to NS).. Welcome, well done, and good luck... |

Welcome to Nutrisystem (although I think I already said that on your first post)..
The food IS very good try and focus on the booklet and keep track of everything you take in. Use the check list in the book. If you can eat every hour but that can get hard when busy but this will kick start your metabolism and turn it into a blow torch. Enjoy the process to a thinner you.. Best regards,. Ben.. |

Oh, I knew the difference 30 minutes before I had scheduled to eat those soy chips. That was the body saying, Feed me! That's what got me thinking about adjusting..
I'd been trying to do five small meals before, and it had been working out with three hour increments. Nutrisystem gives you six, and 2.5 is a better way of doing that for my schedule. I'm doing that today and it's a lot better.. Well, come to think of it, I'm feeling hungry right now, and it's 30 minutes before the afternoon snack again. And this is on the 2.5 schedule. I guess I need to eat a bigger salad. Hmmm.... I've been practicing the water before this. For the past few days, I've been drinking 6-7 glasses a day, but yesterday was the first day I did all 64 oz.. Thanks!. Yes, I'm beginning to.. BBBR is verra nice. I've got Tender Beef with Vegetables tonight. I had the Cheese Tortellini for lunch. Eh. But if that's as bad as it gets, I'll start counting my blessings. There was a nice, fruity tomato taste here and there in the sauce. Perhaps the tales of horror were a bit exaggerated?. I'm DRINKING THE FREAKING WATER!. You didn't like the BBQ soy chips? I did like those. If they were right next to a bowl of salt n vinegar kettle-fried potato chips, I might choose the potato chips, sure. But they were crisp and the BBQ flavor was nice.. I bought a head of cabbage and I'm going to shred it up later. I should steam some for the TBAV later on, shouldn't I? That'd be better than the raw carrots I'd planned. YUM. When's 2:30?. I am so far. Thanks for the support!. Well, I've a problem with that. The guy that set me up on the program sent me the woman's package. I'm on the 2 week auto-delivery because I can't afford the four-week right now. Next month I probably can massage the budget to jump to the four-week.. I've already talked to customer service over email, and the men's booklets are heading my way right now. But I have to print out my list from the computer to check them off. No biggie, but right now I'm skipping over all the hints to cut the pregnancy pounds. I think the mindset book is going to be the same.... ...but I spilled coffee on it yesterday. I'd already read this week's section! I'm getting a new one! I didn't mean to sin against the Mindset Makeover book.. Ooops! Time for my biscotti and coffee!.. |

Welcome! This plan is awesome, and sounds like you have the right attitude..
I'm also a big fan of the BBQ beef beans and rice. It's good on a bun as your carb like a sloppy joe.. You don't have to be ultra-precise to the minute about meal-spacing. If your body is hungry (for real, not just boredom munchies), go ahead and eat your scheduled snack or meal. You can even stretch the preparation out and eat slowly so it's about the same. Just keep it close to 2 - 2.5 hours. I often do my dinner in courses...I'll eat salad and veg right when I get home about 6, then entree and carb at 8.. If you get nighttime hunger, drink some water and go to bed early. Alternately, if like I do, you stay up way later than normal on the weekends your body may need to eat again - (once again, actual stomach-growling and not munchies). If it's been 4 hours since dessert I have a ff hotdog or a string cheese or an ounce or two of lowfat deli meat. Celery is also a good snack if you use a zero cal dressing (Walden Farms is hit and miss) or FF cream cheese or 2 TBSP PB2 as a protein.. Oh, and I highly recommend a little fat-free cool whip (20 cal worth) on your pancakes along with sugar free syrup - it has the texture of whipped butter but way fewer calories.. Oh, about the meal planner book - I did it for two days then switched to recording everything daily under "my program" which is great because it gives you a complete calorie count of the day. I recommend doing that for at least the first couple weeks (doesn't have to be on time, just catch it up throughout the day.) After doing that for a month I can pretty much do it without checking the book unless I need to look up a serving size or remind myself that dairy and protein ARE THE SAME DAMN THING and not separate servings!.. |

Thanks..
Oh, but I do. Most people think of me as this really laid back person, and I am, but that's only because I've got most everything already planned out. I'm almost OCD about it. But once everything's set up, I relax. It's 4:00? Time to get up. It's 4:30? Time to eat breakfast. This is why I like Nutrisystem. They've been anal enough so I don't have to be.. Those are all great suggestions but I'm kinda leery about the Walden Farms dressings. No calories, no fat, no this, no that something's gotta be in there.. This was worth the price of admission. What are those links, veggie links?. I've got these turkey sausage links from Jimmy Dean's, but I've got to get them checked out. I think I can get away with one a day as a protein, but it might be too low in protein to fit under the fat requirement. If I can't use them, I'll have wasted 75% of a big Costco box o'sausage.. LOL! I do like the computer one. But I was filling in all of my meals for the week (so that I could print it out and grope blindly for what I need in the AM before work) and the site went nuts finally. It started filling in days with something I had typed on another day. Crazy stuff.. Thank you so much for all the tips and information... |

Total brain fade on my part, I actually love the BBQ chips. It's the nacho crisps that taste like cardboard that's been dipped in something that makes them taste like cardboard that's been dipped in something....
I like to cook up a head of cabbage or two on the weekend (there are a few good recipes scattered in the forums). Then it's handy for the rest of the week. Extremely quick to prepare and quite good (something I wouldn't have put money on me ever saying...).. |
|
Yes, they are Morning Star Farms veggie sausage links. They also make patties which are good on a wholegrain roll or english muffin (possibly even with some of your scrambled eggs) as a breakfast sandwich..
Http://www.seeveggiesdifferently.com/. So far the only Walden Farms thing I'm wild about is the zero calorie caramel dip. It's amazing on bananas, really good on apples. I know what you mean though...it's substance...what's in it? Antifreeze?. I love all the crisps, including nacho. I don't mind the chewiness, I actually think of it as a pork rind. BBQ is the best, cheddar and SC&O are both okay but not as flavorful. BBQ is a flavor I jonesed for at first. I didn't get the BBQ BB&R until my second order and I think I wrote a ten paragraph ode on a forum to how wonderful it was.. Turkey sausage...yeah...I think I checked it out and that and turkey bacon both lack substantial protein for the amount you want to eat. That may be something you could use for the "up late" night snack if you eat an ounce of it. I don't know if I'd want to take the time to cook sausage just for one mouthful of it though - Morning Star sausage is cooked and just heats in the microwave for a minute which is perfect... |
|
The Morningstar Farms stuff is GREAT! If you aren't using it then give it a shot....it tastes better than any of the others I tried and is very Nutrisystem friendly..
I use the breakfast burgers for my mid morning protein. I take the Low Glyc carb and the mid morning protein and combine them.. Morningstar burger cut up and wrapped in a piece of flat out with a shot of hot sauce and it's awesome!! I was doing plain tuna before that and this is much mo bettuh... |
|
Welcome Boloboffin. And thanks Jayzen for the Morningstar Farms site. It looks good. But I might just add that when starting the Nutrisystem program I think it is a good idea to stick pretty close to the program for the first month or so...
|

Morningstar can easily be a part of NS. You need to supplement with protein every single day and this is protein.....so what isn't part of the Nutrisystem program?..
