Got a question... Do programs like Nutrisystem and Medi-fast work? Many thanks for any comment. Another question on my mind: Started the program today... I feel pretty good, but good lord the WATER! I am working on my 4th 32 oz. bottle. How much water do you guys drink in an average day?.. |

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I discover an useful answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably know..

I've just been drinking the 8 - 8 oz water per day, should I be drinking more?.
Tab.. |

Many people on these forums live by the rule 1/2 oz of water per pound in body weight. So a 300 pound person should drink 150 oz of water. 200 pound person 100 oz of water and so forth...

I heard about that "1/2 oz per pound" recommendation, so I've been drinking at least eight 16.9 oz (1/2 litre) water bottles a day; usually I'll get one or two more in, and a few times I've done 12 total (about 1.5 gallons)..
You'll wear a rut in the carpet from your trips to the bathroom, that's for sure! Get used to it... |

I always get at least 64 oz and most times more..but 64 is the minimum...

I count the trips as a prt of my exercise plan for each day....
I tend to drink 1.5 liters on the drive to the office and then 3 or 4 - 19oz bottles during the day. I taper off at night so that I can actually get a few hours sleep without making multiple trips to the can all night... |

Yeah, I curtail the water intake after dinner for that same reason. I might have a glass of Crystal Light or a cup of coffee with my dessert, but that's it..
I still end up having to wake up at 3AM about half the time...I think it's the lack of salt in my system that makes the liquid flow out so quickly... |

I do the 8x8oz/day minimum as specified in the program. Usually get a bit more, but I don't really think about it beyond the minimum. You're doing double that with 4x32 oz, Cingnut, can't hurt, but whatever floats your boat.... or teeth, or whatever..
