Got a question... Does any body hava a good recipe for soft sugar Medifast cookies? Thanks in advance for any answer or 2. Another question I got... I am about 4 weeks at 90% raw and am seeing no weight loss. I really like this way of life regardless but was hoping to lose some weight as well. Any suggestions?..

Yep, however you might wanna make sure and wait for someone else here to confirm it as I am not quite sure. Better yet, why don't you give a call to the Medifast guys because they can help better...

Are you eating a lot of raw fats in the form of nuts and a lot of dehydrated food? Are you drinking a lot of water? Getting enough exercise? I too did 100% raw for 30 days some time back and didn't lose any weight after the first week. I know that it was because I was consuming way too many nuts, fats, and dehydrated food. And perhaps wasn't getting enough exercise or water in? It's said that in the begining you do what you have to do to STAY raw. That includes eating a lot of whatever your body is craving. This may mean a slower weightloss but in the long run it will be well worth it- and the success of staying raw is usually greater. Putting restrictions on yourself will probably produce faster weightloss, but I guess it's a judgment call on what you think will work for you and will keep you raw.

If you feel great and love what you're doing, I'd say just continue and keep it up. The health benefits (physically and mentally) you are gaining are priceless and the weight will inevitibly come off with time. Personally when I consume too many nuts, fats, and dehydrated Medifast food I feel extremely tired and heavy and lose no weight. I just don't feel my best. But we all have to figure out what works best for us.

That is a HUGE accomplishment. Oh, Alissa also says it's better to consume smaller more frequent meals throughout the day as opposed to 1 or 2 very large meals. And to get your fat mostly from avocados and limit (but not completely if you don't want to) oil and nuts/ meals prepared with these (ex: dehydrated meals or desserts...). Anyway, I hope some of this helps.

I agree with the 2 posts above..

Might want to consider a colonic too (did wonders for me)..

Also, the % of cooked you are eating, is it toxic? (as in boca burgers, processed packaged stuff, bread). these things cann't be eliminated fast enough so the body stores them in adipose tissue..

Adipose tissue is actually the tissue everyone calls fat. adipose tissue is just a collection of storage cells. fat is stored in these cells, toxins are stored in these cells..

People would be surprised to know how much of the stuff they think is fat, is actually just storage pockets of swollen adipose cells loaded with toxins that the body hasn't had time to clean out..

Very interesting stuff..

If you put a hold on anything toxic...and go as high raw as possible, your body will finally have the chance to clear this out. this is when you experience detox symptoms..

During that time you will really need to drink more water than you think you need and anything you do to 'help' get the stuff out will MASSIVELY reduce the detox symptoms. ei: colonics, tons of regular sweating, skin brushing..

Good luck! you will loose the pounds in time!.
