My question is Does South Africa Medifast really work? Hoping for any comment. Second question of mine... Sexy Shamrock ROCKSTAR Challenge starts Sunday October 31. We will award stars. Who is going to be our ROCKSTAR?.

We are going to help several Shammies lose those last 25 pounds and get to goal..

Our Shammies at goal will get through the holidays and stay in their weight range..

One of our Shammies is going to have a great transition during our challenge..

We are going to get through the Holiday season on Plan..

The Challenge will run October 31 through January 2nd..

So get ready to post your weight by Sunday, October 31, and take your measurements..

Bonus star awarded if you take a picture in our favorite jeans/pants for our challenge start photo and post it on this thread..

We are going to start with the normals:.

Weight amount loss relative to previous week, or stayed within goal weight..

OP days max. 7.

Water max. 7.

Exercise max. 7.

Then we will have a special. A focus item to improve your success. For me it is my spacing of meals and water. This will run for four weeks. It takes 21 days to make something a habit. And as the Captain says something about mistakes yield experience.

We will have other extra items throughout the challenge..

Reporting will be done to this thread weekly on the weekends..

Stay OP and get your water and exercise in..

This challenge is also known as the 25 lb. challenge so we are going to be doing some things in units of 25. Every time you make 25 miles doing anything you get to report that accomplishment and get an additional star. So if I do the elliptical for 2.5 miles 5 days a week, I will get to report at the end of week 2 a 25 mile accomplishment...

Lauri - I am glad you added your special focus. I also like that hungry feeling. It would not work for me. I have only had one 3 day period where I have been hungry after I finished week 1. I many times struggle to get all my meals in and I know I have put myself in hibernation mode. We are all different and react differently.

I know you are going to rock this challenge. I really love the spark that shows in your photos..

Oh and Lauri - are you going to let us know daily haw you are doing on your special focus or at the end of the week. It is up to you. Just curious...

I'm down 3 lbs. (274 today) from yesterday so I must have done a typo or something on original posting. That's still almost 30 lbs. up from my lowest weight so it shows you what going off plan can do. With all your support and my willI'm sure I'll get there...

It took me a long time and I am ready to slug the Geek Squad guys at Best Buy, but the computer has allowed me to post up and officially join in the challenge..

OK, the rest of day 2: 4:30 and 7:00. I am pleased with how the day ended in terms of my spacing..

A quick check in for me. Darlene - I am soo glad you are part of the challenge. You can post your measurements if you like. They are optional. I think it will be fun to so how many inches we lose. Hope you have a good day. I do not know if you notice but we are doing things in terms of 25's in honor of the 25 lb.

So log you miles and when you hit 25 miles you get a bonus star. I have 4 miles so far. So it will take me a few weeks to get to my first star. But I might earn a few stars before Jan. 2nd...

Good morning!.

Try this:.

Try clicking on the paperclip (on the same line as the font & smiley's above)...then, do the "browse" on your computer to find the picture and do an "upload". I think that's how I did it. It's not the best programming on here. That's why it doesn't make sense to you...because you are ABOVE AVERAGE INTELLIGENCE..

When you first load the picture it will show something like "attach#####attach", but if you wait a moment or hit "post reply" it will show up...

Special focus: Made sure to pack my Medifast for days away from home..docs,hospital,disneyetc. DID it, but also added some off plan out of need and habit. Should not get a star for this..slapmyhand.org.

Measurements: done.

25 Miles: For sure 4 miles, then a guess of 2-3 more miles for Disney days towards my first 25 mile star..

Special Focus: Getting meals in every couple of hours and putting this program and me first ( As oppossed to work and other ways I get distracted!) In other words focus on the program!.

Renee - glad you are back. You can report on your special focus daily here or on the main thread if it helps you. You get a bonus star if you post a before picture. I am also entering start of challenge measurements so we can see how many inches we have lost..
