Quick question... Good desserts on the Medifast Diet? Hoping for any answer or 2. Another question I got... Hi my fellow 100+ers..

I have a fantasy vision for when I lose all this weight and am slim and trim. I would like to dance and dance all night and not be sweaty, out of breath, and red faced. I want to dance wonderfully with some male super-dancer who can pick me up and swing me around and do all the awesome fancy stuff. (But I could probably accept a guy who's just willing to stand on the dance floor with me.) LOL.

So my question for you all is: What is your vision for when you lose your excess weight?..

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I got an anything. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could answer your Medifast question..

Both of those things are on my list!! We took the kids to universal studios this past summer and I was so scared that I wouldnt try most of the rides for fear of being kicked off. Luckily the 6yr old was too short to go on the rides so I got to use "staying behind with him" as my excuse lol. But he is only 1inch away from the height requirment now and we have season passes for six flags this year.. If I keep going with my weightloss the way I am then I should be able to ride some rides this summer!!!..

I envision myself lounging by the pool in a fabulous swimsuit! I also want to take the family to Disney and be able to go on all of the rides...

I would love to be able to do all of the above 'visions' and as far as my own....

I think it would be wonderful to be able to fit into my two daughters (ages 20 and 17) clothes, because they have some seriously cute clothes in their closets. I'm sure they won't mind sharing with their skinny mom someday. =).

Also...to maybe attend a high school reunion someday and do it in a little black dress looking really hot, instead of being the biggest gal there and so self-conscious that I barely leave my table. THAT would be wonderful...

WOW!! We are all so much alike!! I have all of those same fantasies myself!! My 16 year old has some really cute and a rather large wardrobe too!! I would love to wear form fitting tee shirts and not have to worry about covering up my butt!! cause really...when you pull down that shirt to cover the butt...is it really covered??... We go to Disney every year and I always make excuses on y I dont want to go to the great pools there..saying I don't like to swim...to be honest I freaking LOVE to swim!! I have terrible stretch marks on my stomache so I'm being realistic and not looking to be bikini-thin...but there r some really cute suits out there.. so everytime I even think about cheating I imagine me at the pool looking 'normal' in a suit!!..

Please Ladies, leave your daughter's clothes alone. You will traumatize them and they may want to burn them if you even try them on..

Your weight has provided an important boundary for them. Buy your own clothes, appropriate for your current age. You are going to High School REUNIONS, not back to high school..

I am 62 years old. Picutre my skinny but in their jeans and tops. If that picture looks ridiculous to you, you have a small taste of how you'll look to them..

Stay on your own side..

Beth..

I have to say... one of my visions of the future is running into my ex, completely at random (he's gotten kind of chubby), and being like "oh, I didn't recognize you!" and having him say the same thing because I've gotten so thin. :P..

Beth is right but I used to have fantasies about wearing the cute jeans and tops in the younger crowd's catalogs also. Now my fantasy is to get.

Into.

A pair of jeans and feel comfortable. I haven't worn a pair of real jeans in over 30 years. I could have, at some points, but I am a lot more self critical than a lot of overweight people and would never..

Anyway, that's my fantasy, to buy and wear a nice pair of jeans and feel comfortable (.

And fit into my 1980's "Bon Jovi" suede, fringed leather jacket with the beaded designs allover it!!.

!) LOL!..

* Being able to ride on amusement park rides..

* Fitting into stylish clothes and not having to buy tunic shirts to cover my stomach..

* Traveling more: not feeling embarrassed or ashamed when I get on a plane; having the energy to go sight-seeing on foot morning to night!.

* Being able to take a Segway tour of the city (won't have to be thin, just get under 265)..

* Being able to do other adventurous things that have weight restrictions/warnings, or just need more energy/stamina to do (bungee jumping, sky diving, parasailing, zip lining, horseback riding, mechanical bull riding, snowboarding (I used to ski and boy do I miss it), paddle boarding, surfing, kite/wind surfing, etc!)...I may not have the guts to do some of these but it would be nice to do them if I want to!.

* Jumping on a trampoline/moon bounce without the fear of breaking it.

*Being able to go boating on my friend's boat and participate in the swimming/tubing without fear of breaking the ladder on my way back up..

* Being able to go to a trendy little bistro-type restaurants that are full of tightly packed tables without panicking that I won't be able to get out once I get settled at a table..

That's just a start!..

My dream is to become a mother and be able to keep up with my child..

My dream is to be able to keep up with my husband..

My dream is to be able to shop in whatever store I chose and know that something in that store will fit me..

My dreams are pretty simple but they are enough for me...

The great news is that these "fantasies" are reachable goals and can be REALITY!.

Believe they WILL happen. (like "gpfeil" above).

Good Luck to each of you!..

Hi! I always have visions of me at my slim and trim best. My visions often center around clothes. Cute tank tops, pretty sleeveless dresses, etc. I also envision myself kayaking and whitewater rafting. Playing with my kids without getting tired. Borrowing my husband's shirts and having them be way too big on me! Thanks for the post. I think I shall spend my afternoon dreaming of the day.....
