My question is Great Nutrisystem diet? (16yr old male 6'2)? Thanks for any answer or 2. Second question.. I joined Nutrisystem (wife's idea) in December. I'm definitely glad she signed me up, because I can tell a huge difference. So far everthing has gone great, but I needed some inspiration so I joined the message boards today. I have always been able to stick to a diet for 4-8 weeks but something always seemed to come up and I would get off for several months and gain the weight back.

I guess I have been on Nutrisystem for 6 weeks and have lost close to 25 pounds..

So, I hope to be talking to ya'll a lot in the future..

25 down 50 more to go...

Welcome Patrick! Good move coming to the forums. Good helpful people with great advice out here..

25# in 6 weeks is quite impressive, and super that you're already halfway to goal. Well, chances are the second half will take longer than 6 weeks, but of course you shouldn't be concerned about that, nor does it seem like you are..

The word "diet" around here seems to be a four-letter word (aside from the literal.) Many around here don't like it because it has earned for itself a meaning which implies more of a temporary fix. That said, your attitude sounds good, and you've certainly proven you know how the plan works..

Good luck!! And let's hear from you as things go..

Thanks for the welcome. I don't expect the next six weeks to be as easy as the first six, but getting back in the gym has helped. When I started this process I told my business partners that I was going to leave an hour early 3-4 times a week to go work out. I do not think I would have those results without regular exercise...

Greg, go back to w8book and copy the BB format in lieu of HTML and paste it to your My Page About Me. Hope this helps..

My wife also prompted my joining NS. The first time, I had success in a 50+ lb weight loss. Outsmarted myself by determining it would be cheaper to maintain with WW. Now, some 50+ lbs heavier, I get another chance to make the right decisions..

Hey Guys..I weighed in at 247 on Jan 5th and lost 14 pounds over the 1st 2 weeks. My goal was originally 210 but I think I am going to reduce it to 200...This is the first time Ive ever done Nutri-System and I love it.I just dont know how many months to do it for. My main problem was eating at night and this diet has helped me control it very well....I work out for an hour and a half 4 times a week which has contributed to my quick start..Obviously I will not continue to lose a pound a day but Im enjoying it while it lasts...I realize the key is to stay strong and stick to the plan to succeed..Hey, If I can stick to the Nutrisystem plan during a tailgating party(at the Giants/Eagles game last week), I can stick with it anywhere..LOL...Thanks for all of the support on the boards...By the way, thank you Cardinals for beating the crap out of the Eagles!!! BIG BLUE 2009!!!!(Next Season)..

WELCOME Patrick.....

Good to have another.

Auburn Tiger.

Among us.....

I'm in the middle of my 3rd Nutrisystem Box and after a quick 13lb.

Loss at the beginning, I stopped losing...even gained a few.

Pounds back...and fluctuated about 2lbs each way for a.

Week or so (it was during the Holidays and I was very upset.

At the time. Especially since I was trying so hard to keep to.

The routine. But, now I seem to be taking off again and now.

Am down to 193lbs..

So, don't let yourself get discouraged, like I did for a while..

The guys and girls here answered my yell for help and.

Explained it would happen occasionally and to not get down.

In the dumps about it...or let myself slip into an eating binge..

Don't hesitate to ask for advice. I have found that it is there.

For the asking..

Good Luck.

....and get that.

W8book ticker.

Going real soon..

It has really helped me to see how I am doing..
