Got a question... Has anyone taken the 10 day Medifast diet pills? Did they work for you? Hoping for any answer. My 2nd question... Ok, so today I am 4 weeks post op. to be completly honest i've barley eaten since my puree/soft Medifast food diest started. I'm never hungry, and when I finally make myself eat, just a little bit & very slowly I feel crappy.

I sat up to drink a few sips of water and had to immediately run to the toilet. The water came right back up. Is this something I should be worried about? or could it be from laying back down too quickly? Ive also noticed when I drink anything I either hiccup or burp a lot...normal? help please :)..

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I bump into an useful answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably can answer it..

This is normal. I threw up even when I thought of eating on my 4th week. When I finally ate something solid I got the foamies and threw up. Lets just say I became the throw up master. Even got that chest pain feeling which was horrible. Dont rush it, with time it will get better.

I felt like my life would never be normal again, I was wrong, and I wish I woulnt have rushed things. Dont rush it, eat slow and if you get sick take a step back in your eating plan for the rest of the day, then try again the next day. Best of luck...

Krista is right, I had the same thing happen to me. I kept thinking it might be normal like you do so I put it off for a while, didn't even mention it to the doctor when I went for a check up. I ended up in the ER also dehydrated, kidney infection, and very low.

Potassium.

I ended up staying in the hospital for a week. My pouch had also closed off and they had to dialiate it with a balloon. Now I am so much better, I can actually swallow liquids with no pain and get food. Let your doctor know, he'll do a test and if thats it, the procedure is fast and easy...

My nurse told me that between 4 to 6 weeks after.

Surgery.

You could get some scar tissue built up in the opening to your pouch. She told me you would know if it happens. sounds like you have what she described. They just go in and clean out and make the opening bigger. so you better get into the doc !!..
