I have gone through a month or so where I did not loose one ounce of weight...then I would loose some weight for a month or so, then go back to not loosing weight. I think this is very normal, but I would not get on the scale every day. I was told only to get on the scale once a week, or even every two weeks. I would just enjoy life and realize that you have to change your life style, then everything is going to fall in place and happen. I wish you all the best!!!..

Sometimes there can be a psychological issue around certain numbers. Like what might have been going on around the time that you were that weight. What vulnerability are you trying to protect? What are you holding on to?.

263 was a huge number for me. It wasn't until I stood up to my about something that it finally shifted. It was a huge relief and I was really happy to let go of that load...

RD - revisit your scale pledge. Please..

Stop weighing every day, it really plays a bad mental game ... you are going to.

Lose weight.

- everyone here knows that you are a prime time loser - you are an inspiration ... your dedication is obvious from your posts..

But, cut it out with the OCD scale stepping already. My best friend from college competed as a bodybuilder for several years - he is the one who told me that it isnt good to weigh every day, because it is going to play a bigger mental game with you than not, and as someone who did that for YEARS, he was absolutely right. Our bodies fluctuate day to day and even throughout a day - hell, any woman on this board can tell you that we can weigh one thing when we get up and weigh 2 or 3 or 4 pounds more at the end of the day..

So, stop. I took the pledge, I only weigh on Sundays like I said, your turn!..

And, BTW - if you weighed once a week, your stats would look like this:.

Nov 26, 2010 284.6.

Dec 3, 2010 283.3 (LOSS 1.3 lbs, one week).

Dec 10, 2010 282.0 (LOSS 1.3 lbs, one week).

Dec 17, 2010 - not there yet.

Come on now, it's 2.6 lbs, it might not be a lot but ....YOU ARE STILL LOSING ... loser! Love ya!..

My pledge on 12/08/2010:.

"I am officially amending my pledge, rather than lie to you about it...I can't do it.

Cold turkey.

, especially when I am gaining weight..

"I recommit to sticking to my first A.M. weight, which goes directly to my computer vs the roulette I was playing, weighing three or four times a day and picking the lowest weight....

"Yeah, I know it's a compromise, but it is what it is...".

That's was my story and I'm sticking to it! Please focus on the plateau and deal with your concerns about the OCD another time..Geez, you guys sure know to give me a dose of my own medicine...lol..
