I need new ideas..

Thanks!.

Good question... I dunno what is the right answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I find an useful answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could help you..

Chicken chili. The recipe is at Bariatric Eating, yummo! I usually make it every other week in the winter, all three of us love it..

Who cooks? Usually me..

Favorite meal? Anything that someone else is willing to cook and bring to me, or cook for me!.

I am so not a cook! I usually look in the freezer last minute and say "what's everyone hungry for?" I can throw a couple of steaks on the grill and nuke some veggies and that is as far as my gourmet tendencies take me. Not that I can't cook. I just don't like to..

That is why God gave us steak houses, and Red Lobster and subway, and Wendy's and Applebee's and all those other places I love to go!.

Laura.

PS now you all know why I needed GBS in the first place! I still don't like to cook and I don't plan, but I know how to make more healthful choices when we go out and/or do the quick hurry up grab and go meals...

Laura your response was too funny..

I love fish. Broiled Salmon/Tilapia are my specialties. I serve it over a pilaf of quinoa and a edamame. Boat load of protein- -you close to 40g of protein w/ very little calories..

Turkey chili is another favorite of mine and is easy b/c I throw it in the crock pot..

Stupped Peppers is another favorite of mine. Instead of rice I use quinoa and use ground turkey and it is awesome..

In lovely Chicago its.

Freezing.

And snowing- -so lately Ive been on a soup kick. Soups are really not protein enriched so I tend to steer to heavier stock soups such as split pea or black bean soups. Shelly has an amazing broccoli and cheddar soup that blows Panera Bread out of the water. Check out her website.

Theworldaccordingtoeggface.com.

I have to plan ahead otherwise I have a tendency to graze and Im very adamant about keeping a Medifast food journal- -anything that goes in mouth (food wise) is going on there regardless if I went over my caloric intake. Gotta keep it real...

Anything I can throw in the crock pot is my favorite..

Chili, pot roast with potato and carrot, chicken enchilada bake just to name a few..

I've also been into tortilla pizzas lately. Delish!.

I'm really looking forward to being able to have lettuce and get back into salads...
