My question is HELP!! best Nutrisystem diet plan and exercise plan?!? Looking forward for any answer. Another question on my mind: Sorry to invade the men's room but it seems like the best place to ask:.

I am hosting a Super Bowl party and I don't want to look like a dork eating my sad little Nutrisystem soup cup and it's going to be hard cooking up a hundred chicken wings and not having any. I'm just wondering what everyone else is planning to do to stay on plan on Sunday?..

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer to that question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I find an anything. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could answer your Nutrisystem question..

My wife and I had a party this past weekend that will be similar. As we hosted, I did have some say in the menu...we had a meat & cheese tray, veggie tray, some shrimp, then all the other stuff including desserts...We had a punch bowl but also a BIG thing of water with lemon and decaf coffee...there was enough there that I could munch on the veggies..

During the day, I ate by NutriFood but I did not do dinner and all the add ons. During the party, I had a couple slices of cheese and turkey and lots of veggies..

I drank the lemon water and a cup o decaff..

It worked...I stayed on plan and still had a great time..

My plan/suggestion is to do the same for the Super Bowl..

Good luck!..

Being the game's a late start I'll have my Nutrisystem dinner before I leave... bring my evening dessert/snack with me and do the water and diet-soda deal. I can't trust myself in "having just one piece". My wife and I were at a Thai dinner party this past weekend and though tempted, I was good. Ate the Thai veggies, brought my Nutrisystem entree, had some of the salad and watched everyone eat the flambee'd bananas in coconut creme..

Make a long story short... I'll be the "dork" at the SB party!..

I am not staying on plan. I will be on plan all day right up until kickoff. It may take a few days to make up for it but if you get right back on plan the screw up will not last too long...

Just for the evening, I'm going completely off the reservation. Don't even bother looking for me. I'll be right back on plan Monday morning, albeit with a helluva hangover...

Same here...Ive gotta cook for everyone and I've been doing great for some 39 days now..

I will grill all my chicken wings then lightly spray them with my homemade special wing sauce. Those shouldn't be too bad..

We will have fat free dips and whole wheat crackers, as well as veggies..

It will be interesting to see how my weight reacts to a meal off plan..

At any rate, I plan on having a good time and I'm not going to sit around worrying about it, or trying to make myself feel guilty about it...

I don't have a dog in this fight, so I'll enjoy the game with some friends and enjoy some glasses of water and a Nutrisystem snack. All my friends know Im on a diet so Im not really worried about looking like a dork..

If my Bears were in the SB again I'd prolly be pigging out though...

I don't know what i'll do yet. If I do go off Nutrisystem for the day. I will probably make some chili for the game. Lots of beans and lots of tomatoes. Of course some lean meats. One thing I am going to do is follow the Nutrisystem plan on when to eat. I don't want to slow my metabolism down...

I'll probably just watch it at home this year. If I go to the party I usually go to I'll end up pigging out and drinking lots of beer..

There is always next year...

I like this analogy!.

You don't necessarily have to skip out on a few of the treats you cook for your guests. If you are going to stay on the plan 100%, there's no problem with protioning out where you can have a few of the protein servings during your party. For the NFC/AFC games, I had a bunch of my buddies over and cooked four million pounds of chicken (give or take), had some myself while everyone enjoyed.. but of course I had everyone take the rest home with them...

Unfortunately, the Cowboys aren't going to the Show this year...so I will suffer through the Super Bowl Party with the tried and true methos of drinking gallons of water before going to the party. Figure if I fill up on H20, I might be able to avoid the crap food..

And hopefully, just hopefully, it will warm up enough to take a break from the glitter and sneak outside for a nice Havana...

I've already been looking into my options..

My friends are thrilled with my weight loss so far, so I'll actually have more trouble going off plan much without getting a whole ration of crap from them. (They do it at the Ducks games that we share seats to as well to keep me away from the crap food at the arena.).

I've found a few options:.

Raw shrimp w/no cocktail sauce.

Vegie plate with Walden Farms dressing mixed with some lo cal Ranch to dip.

Hebrew National Dogs (97% FF)...(the suckers are only 45 calories) add a whole grain bun...and the combined package is only around 155 cal (plus some mustard).

Hormel Turkey Chili, or my wife may made some homemade like she did a couple weeks ago..

I found a recipe for a lo cal chicken wing and a low cal dip made from yogurt...(It's in a book called "Eat this, Not That").

I figure that if I make some choices like those I can keep from going completely wild and still be eating some of same (or similar foods) to the rest of the gang. The rest is just portion control on whatever I decide...

That's a great idea about the veggie plate! I must really need this plan cuz it never even occured to me to serve veggies! Maybe I could have salsa with the Nutrisystem soy chips. I think we get salsa as a free food..

We are setting up the Wii in a side room for the wives and guests who aren't into football so I will probably hide out in there...

Btw: This is one of the best snacks I have ever had. I eat mine with Walden's calorie free Ranch as a dip (have all you want). MMMM MMMM GOOD..

This will be the first time in 20 years that I'm not serving my superbowl dip. (1lb of ground beef, 1 lb of spicey saucage, 1 1/2 lbs of velveta and a bottle and 1/2 of salsa all melted together in it's gooey delicisouness). Of course served on every type of chip imagionable..

This year will be Nutrisystem honey mustard pretzels, fruits and veggies. Probably my Nutrisystem chili too, just to feel "in the moment"..

Vandalgrrl~ the guys mentioned a lot of what I do for parties... cheese/meat trays, fruit/veggie trays, (have Nutrisystem friendly dip for each... veggies use fat free veggie dip, which usually has about 30 cals a serving, and fruit mix fat free cream cheese (protein) with some sugar free calorie free strawberry syrup (free food).).

Another good idea is find a recipe for healthy, low calorie chili. then mix 12 oz of it with one package of fat free cream cheese. microwave until melted and add chili powder. instant chili cheese dip, that isnt toooo far off plan..

For wings, just watch what you put on them, and if you bake them and not dep fry them they can be a protein serving (just don't eat the skin)..

Instead of eating your Nutrisystem entrees, just go totally low carb. have some egg beaters for breakfast and some turkey meat for lunch. then you can have your carbs at the party in the form of crackers or chips to go with the chili dip, or even a beer or too (MGD 64 or becks premier ultra light are only 64 cals)..
