My first question is How long does Medifast take to get into your system? Many thanks for any response. Another question on my mind: The New Year Meltdown Challenge has begun with the official weigh-ins starting today, December 20th and continuing until 11:59 pm EST Monday, December 21st..

Jump in and give us your starting weight as of Sunday or Monday and stick with us for the next six weeks..

The start is simple:.

Starting Weight: 200.

Then if you would like, give us your goal weight or lbs you'd like to lose during the next six weeks, or the next size you'd like to be. Save the chatter for the chat thread. The link will be in the next post..

Remember you have committed to report in each week for the next 6 weeks. We are going to support you, encourage you, applaud you, counsel you, whatever it takes to get you to your next six week goal. You will be inspired by the successes of people just like you, who need a little help to get over the next hump. In return you will help others who need a pat on the back and some understanding. The journey is longer for some than others but not any easier. We can all use a little help along the way..

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I find an useful answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could give you help..

Starting wt 181.

Goal: would love to lose 5 more by my weigh in on the 4th. Maybe 15 total over the challenge. I worry that this is too lofty a goal. I guess I will see..

I am feeling very motivated and wondering if and when that will waver. I have been tested a lot over this past weekend and feel strong and proud that I got through each challenge. This will be my 2nd week. I can feel a difference already in my 5 lb loss. I need to remember that 5 lbs is a lot of weight on me and can make a huge difference....in either direction!..

Just figured out how to make my ticker, but also thought it might be a good idea to let others know a bit about me. I am a mom of 3 kids, ages 12, 9, and 3. My husband and I are both professionals. He works full time, I work 3/4 time. I have struggled with weight my whole life. I exercise a lot, and usually enjoy it, but want to increase that and lose some substantial weight.

I need to focus on the behavioral changes that can help me lose this weight. Good luck to all the Dream Team members. Hope we can all have success this season...

Morning Dream Team!.

Can I join your challenge team? I am a regular on the Pinups but it does not look like we will have the necessary 8 members for this challenge!.

Today's starting weight is 191.2.

My goal for challenge is 15 lbs which will leave me with only 1.2 lbs till goal (which may change as I get closer).

Hope you have room for one more...
