I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer to that question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I find an answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably know..

Based on the guidelines as set forth by my bariatric practice it is 1 c of Medifast food per meal and protein being half the meal and consumed first..

You said you were drinking too much? Drinking what exactly? Juices, milk? If it's water than you have nothing to worry about. You want to stay hydrated and flush your body of any toxins and water is the only thing for that. If it's anything other than water just remember those are empty calories and you want something that has substance that'll keep you satisfied longer..

Are you waiting to drink in between meals?.

Aside from my 2 senses you look FANTASTIC girl and you apparently got it down..

Best Wishes to You and a Happy and Healthy New Year...

My program says through out the year to work towards one cup of Medifast food per meal, still getting in your protein and liquids..I am only two months out, but I trust my gut when it's full, or I get sick feeling....

@ Lu, your just hilarious... looking forward to hearing from you again soon.....

My plan says this about maintenance:.

Limit carbs to 10 grams per meal. Meals should eventually be 4 T. in size..

Here are the biggie rules:.

1) Protein first at every meal..

2) never snack between meals.

3) Drink 64 oz. + of non-caloric fluid per day.

20-30 minutes at least 3 times a week.

5 Take your vitamins and minerals as directed..

Finally: Always make your follow up appointments and monitor your weight so you can see if you have any drastic changes, which should be discussed ASAP with your doctor..

My best to you.....

Um, let me first state that I am a raging feminist and that I find sexual objectification disdainful, at least..

I should secondly state that I love Lu. He is the dirty mouthed little boy with a fantastic sense of commitment to this community, smart and pithy answers to hard questions, and best advice giver in the event of a potential trauma or complication..

So, you decide your.

Level, but I urge you to look through his old posts and get a sense of who he is and what he brings here..

And yes, completely inappropriate answer. It would be hard to be new to him and that humour and find joy in it at first blush. I would have sliced and diced him had that been his first answer to me. But. Trust me. He is celebrating.

You. Himself..

According to my program, at 8 months, meals will consist of no more than 4 - 6 oz. total, depending on what your pouch can tolerate. Protein first, then veggies, then starches/carbs. Three meals with one small snack that has to be mostly protein. At that point, if I'm at goal, my calorie limit will be 1200 per day. If still losing, 1000 calories per day..

This helps...

From what I remember... Its about a cup of Medifast food at each meal and about 64 oz of protein (not in addition to your meals)...
