Question I have... I want free 7 days Nutrisystem diets? Thanks for any answer. Another question on my mind: Hey just thought I'd stop by and say hi... I was glad to see there are quite a few guys on here! I was kind of expecting to walk into some kind of situation where I'd be one of a handful of guys haha but I'm glad to see high levels of testosterone!.

I'm hoping the foods should get here next week! I can't wait to start the 40lb journey..

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I bump into an decent answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could assist you..

Welcome Jason... you found us! As Steve has stated, stick to the plan and good things happen. I've only been around a few weeks but it works. And the folks around here are very supportive and helpful...

To Steve's advice I would add:.

1. Keep a daily record of what you eat..either in the book that Nutrisystem gave you or via the My Program tab on the web site..

2. Measure your add ins for a week or so to calibrate your eye on portions...for example a banana portion is 1/2 medium (not large)...milk is 8 oz, not 10, 12 or 16. The only one you don't have to measure is salad..pile it on but measure the dressing..

3. Allow yourself an occasional slip without tons of guilt..if you slip and fall, just get back up 100% as soon as you can, fess up, then move on...

Welcome to the board Jason. I have about a 40 lb to. I a down 10 lb today in the first 28 days. I am positive I could have lost 5 more, had I exercised a little harder. All I am saying is if you do some light exercise and stick to the food plan 100% the weight will go....

I f___d up on the plan for the first 6 days, but not excessiveluy,. I had one other slip, but still down 10 lbs in 28 day!.

I hope to drop the other 30 in 2 months, it gonna be a battle!.

Good luck and if you work the program you won't need it!..

All you new guys have made a great decision. Trout_Fisherman gave you steller advice - stick it and you'll reach your goals. Have patience and don't worry if you lose slower than some people here. It's where you stick that matters not how fast you get there..

I look forward to cheering you on your way!..

Welcome Newbies! (Can I say that yet, with only 2.5 months under my belt?).

Yeah, the program works and works well. Everyone is different as far as rates of loss, personal challenges, etc. but it's pretty much guaranteed that if you stick to it, it will work. Any questions, problems, post here. Lots of guys with the experience to answer. Hanging here also helps keep you on track..

Only other tidbit to add from what the others have said: Read the newbies threads. Bellavitaboy, Mens Rulz, etc. You'll see them get bumped to the front page from time to time. Lotsa good - and fun - stuff!.

We're in this together! Good luck..

Congrats to the newbies. You've made the right decision. I have a couple of words of advice as well. 1) stick with the plan 100%. The biggest chunk of weight loss usually comes up front. So stay on the plan for the first 8 weeks religiously.

2) Don't be a picky eater. I think the food is very good and I've gotten to the point where I actually prefer it to other choices. As good as the Nutrisystem food is....it's ain't Mama's home cooking. So, just tell yourself that you have no options but to like the food. 3)Eat all the meals, even if you're not hungry.

But eat according to the plan anyway to keep your metabolism going. 4) Weigh daily at first.....you will be motivated by the pounds dropping off. Then as time marches on, weigh weekly. It does slow down. There will be times when you don't lose, or you may gain a pound.

The body is not a machine. Weight fluctuates based on a number of factors..

Good luck!!..

Welcome and congrats on taking the step that will change your life..

You might want to take some body measurements...I didn't, and know I have to eat all that food to gain back all that weight just so I can take measurements..

Silly me...of course I am not going to do that...but I wish I had taken some measurements..

Visit this place at least daily...the support here is very helpful. Just watch out for some of us...we tend to be smart-asses...especially Damon!.

Listen to what these veterans know as fact. Check in with this board and post DAILY. You'll be surprised to learn how knowledge is a weight-loss tool. We are men, we are all Spartans. We all have toolboxes and we all live by the rule "the right tool for the job"........ choose wisely my young padawan.
