My 1st question is: In the Medifast Diet supercharged ? Looking forward for any response. Second question of mine... So I just started Medifast today, and have approx 116 lbs to lose. I am wondering what if anything happens if you dont have a lean and green meal daily? Will it help me lose weight faster? Also, I start my day at 5 am and I am usually not in bed until around 11 pm....thats 18 hours, how should I go about spacing my Medifast meals apart since I should be eating every 2-3 hours? Please help :-) Thank you!!!..

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer to your question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I got an good answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could help you..

Hi Amanda and welcome!.

Medifast 5 & 1 Plan is designed to be nutritionally balanced to provide 100% of the daily value for vitamins and minerals the body needs. Missing your Lean & Green will not make you lose weight faster..

When you are the 5/1 you get a total of 6 meals, if you divide your 18 hour schedule by 6 = 3 hours...hope this helps...

Welcome to Medifast! Most of the important plan material is available by clicking on Success Tools>Eat Right. On the bottom left you will find the Quick Start Guide and all of the allowed food lists..

It is VERY important to eat the entire L&G every day. Not doing so can and will stall your weight loss. I am not sure how your schedule is, but with Medifast you eat 6 times a day. So you could eat at 5, 8, 11, 2, 5, 8 or something like that. You could also split your lean and green into 2 meals- eat half at one time and half at another time later in the day. That way you would be able to eat 7 small meals. You can also add the optional snack...

Wow, well you make sure to get all of your meals in, as they are very important nutrients that your body needs especially that we are only getting 800-1000 calories per day!.

Medifast used to be a purely liquid diet for the extremely obese. And they offered a DOCTOR supervised version of the plan that was 6-7 Medifast meals. It was called the complete plan. It can ONLY be done under a doctors supervision. I actually attempted it a few years ago under a doctors care but I didn't lose any faster and I soooooooooooo missed that L&G meal. Give the 5&1 a go.

You absolutely can't do the complete without doctors supervision, it is just too dangerous..

Everyone's body and needs are different. I also get up around four or five each day. My first meal is not until seven or eight though. The first hour I am usually here catching up with my Medifast friends and getting my motivation for the day. The next hour is spent on my treadmill (45 minutes anyway), followed by a shower and getting ready for work. I try to space my first few meals at three hours to help me through the evenings when I push it back to two hours.



As for the chat room? It doesn't work for me so much as my day is six hours ahead of the US. For me, searching the threads for answers to my questions with the search option has been the most helpful. I have also made some very dear friends who have helped in both good and bad stretches over the last few months..

Read the book. Take care of yourself. ASK questions, always. "There are no stupid questions...." as I tell my studentsit is only stupid when you DON'T ask!.
