Is Aspartame ok to consume on a Nutrisystem diet?

First question I have is Is Aspartame ok to consume on a Nutrisystem diet? Hoping for any answer or 2. 2nd question I got is.. What's up, gents. Got back from sunny Florida yesterday. Went for my cousin's wedding and to see my family (mom, sis and the rest). Most had not seen me since December 2006 so they had seen me right around my heaviest weight.

They both cried when they saw me. The reactions from the rest of the family ranged from surprise to amazement to awe to relief..

The first obvious marker of my change was that not only could I easily fit into the airplane seat but I did not need an extender, having about 8" of belt left over, but I could also put the tray down COMPLETELY. I felt so incredibly good..

Took my Perfect Pushup handles to do those workouts. Otherwise, no exercise other than lots of walking. Also, water consumption was less than normal but still somewhere between 64-96 ozs. I also missed my HIIT, elliptical and kettlebell workouts..

My family is from the Carribean and my mom and aunts can all cook well. Local food in Phoenix sucks. The best indicator to me of a lifestyle change was that I ate off plan but did not go crazy. Went shopping and made sure that I would at least have a healthy Nutrisystem approved breakfast as well as my South Beach and Fiber One bars for my snacks/dessert. Most days, I had a large, dinner-like lunch and a salad and soup for dinner. Went to the Capital Grille Monday at the Galleria in Ft.

Had rice and beans almost every day as well as a couple of breakfasts out. Also, one dinner of pasta fagioli, garlic knots and several slices of pizza..

Bottom line: scale said I gained 5.6 lbs. Considering how I ate on vacation, I am thrilled with that. I am even happier that I truly have made a lifestyle change, that I was looking forward to getting back to my regular exercise, proper eating and water consumption..

On the way back to Phoenix, sat in the middle seat for both flights and there was no vitriol, harsh language or animosity, much less fisticuffs or other tomfoolery..

I'm so happy for you guys that I am back...

You know, I am terribly thankful (and very lucky) not to have any negative people around me or even related to me. Whether it's my mercurial disposition, my notorious short temper, my outgoing personality, my quick wit or some other factor, I hardly ever get negative comments regarding anything. And I certainly did not get any from family and friends, for which I am grateful. The closest thing to it would be those that respond that they are doing their own sort of half-assed program because they just can't to give up _____ (fill the blank). I just shrug my shoulders at them...
