First question I have is Is liquid Medifast or pills better for holding back the hunger? Hoping for any answer or 2. My other question... I don't know about you, but for me, when all the stockings are empty, songs are sung, all the presents opened, returned or exchanged, the cleanup is done, or hopelessy abandoned, comes the dark side of the Christmas holiday, the "Dead Week" between Christmas and New Years. Sound grim? Well, it should..

Post holiday depression, the crash from manic activity levels, food, alcohol, and shopping withdrawal, disappointment in expectations, poor program performance, weight gain, and.

Post-family exposure that triggers old behavioral coping...all are possibilities to put us in that "poor me" state of mind!.

It is a time when we might be tempted to let down our resolve, and cast a longing eye at a fridge full of leftovers, Medifast food gifts left out all over the house, or alcohol for a quick "pick me up"....

Stress reduction throws your immune system into reverse, allowing all those germs you were exposed to in the malls, church, etc to take hold and knock us down....

Yea, though I walk throught the valley of the shadow of Dead Week, it's a time I need to be pro-active!.

That's right! There IS a cure for Dead Week and it's pretty simple:.

1. Take a deep breath, and focus on the resolve you had, before the cobwebs started to form, and the fog moved in!.

2. Get back on the horse, climb back on the wagon, start TODAY to turn the momentum to your favor..

3. Scan your environment and remove any "toxic" high calorie, high fat, or high carb Medifast food stuffs. Freeze or put away danger foods left in the fridge..

4. Reinstitute your clean Medifast food plan. Take you vitamins, drink your water!.

5. Resist the tendency to just kick back til the day after New Years! A lot of damage, beyond weight gain, can occur in this week..

6. Get moving! Undoubtedly, our schedules go awry before and during the holiday, but today (Not A Week From Now!) is the time to reset our behavioral clock..

7. Load up that workout gear and get to the gym, or start that program you've been meaning to start! Spend that holiday money on a membership,.

Exercise.

DVD, equipment or work out clothes!.

8. Get started now, so that when January rolls around, you will have a week in, and already be settling in to your healthy lifestyle, one that will propel you into the year 0f 2011..

9. Are you out of town, have guests, have kiddies and or spouse at home? Find ways to apply these principles! Don't let the challenge go unanswered....

10. Believe and decide that a Happy, Healthy New Year is up to you!.

Speak up, take control and let go of the past, with a firm eye toward the year ahead?!? Let us know your thoughts.....

I did fine Medifast food wise but I feel kind of sluggish with my work out. I only worked out twice last week. Although I did a lot of.

Walking.

At the stores it just doesn't compare to applying yourself to a great work out..

Starting today throughout 2011 I am planning on getting a 2-3 mile walk every day regardless of any other activity and continue w/ my cardio kickbox and zumba..

Pilates.

To relax on the weekends...
