What will you say to that surprise cookie or candy, when no one is looking? That moment hit me this morning, when all the "goodies" were supposed to be out of the kitchen and there were Christmas cookies grinning at me..

For a moment the "I just coudn't resist, easier to ask for.

Forgiveness.

Than permission..." thought made those little suckers attractive..

Visualize how you will handle this now, before it happens! JUST SAY NO!..

TRUST ME, if you had given in to those sweets, you would have regretted it about 10 minutes later. Your body can't deal with them, and you would have ended up feeling rather ill. I mistakenly drank some tea earlier, not knowing it had been made with sugar (I always use sweetener). I am not feeling well from the one sip, and I've learned in the past I do NOT enjoy the feeling!..

I had VSG. Sleevers and over 50% of others don't dump..

Those who do, should not depend on the symptom to control cravings..

This can change and the desire for sugar will not, without planning and intervention. {:>}..

There is no junk Medifast food in my house, nor will there be. I'm on Stage 3 of the WLS Medifast diet plan, and that means soft/pureed foods. I may try a new recipe or something. But mostly I'll enjoy the time with a nice fire in the fireplace,.

Music.

And chats with friends. Medifast food is no longer a focus of my social life. It is still a focus of my life in general, however, because I find meal planning and getting in my fluids and protein to be a full-time job!..

I am doing well with the season. I baked like a crazy woman and made trays of cookies, balls, candies, and fudge. Licked my fingers once and had a 1/4 of a cookie yesterday and was completely satisfied. Even had it "ok'd" by the dietician..

I am.

Learning.

That I don't have to get rid of everything- it's about moderation and being careful and I was completely satisfied from those 3 little nibbles. I think the more people refuse their temptations, the more they think about them and crave them. If you cut/break off only a small amount- the craving is satisfied and no longer drives you BATTY!.
