Got a question, hope someone can answer... Is tea allowed in Medifast Diet? Also can anyonw give? Thanks in advance for any response. My other question... Hi.

I'm Jesi (I'm a girl not a boy lol) I am 27yrs old and I'm a newbie I haven't ever tried this diet and haven't recieved my package yet but i'm so excited and scared at the same time. Ladies and gentlemen I have tried all sorts of diets and a few I didn't even bother with cause it was just to complicated. So about 4 days ago while having a talk with my brother he said, you know what? I want you to lose weight be healthy and finally see a smile on your face. Apparently he could see right through me and I never knew.

Well I had made an appointment with Medifast (sorry if I'm not allowed to mention this on here) everything sounded good I was going to do it (even if it was out of my budget).

But I felt desperate I prayed and prayed to God asking for guidance if JC was the right program for me but I had a bad gut feeling about them, and looking online for ppl who had the experience with it 99% were thumbs down. I got discouraged and said never mind witht that but, out of the blue I came across Medifast and guess what I felt God spoke to my heart and said this one is for you. I started doing my homework and after seeing a bundle of success stories I was shocked and happy that this could be the one for me. Do you really lose weight that fast? I mean could it be possible to be in ONEderland by the end of this year if I stick by it?.

I'm scared to get my hopes so far up and to get let down. I don't want to be feel hopeless again either..

Has anyone felt this way? I have tons of questions lol sorry if I posted in the wrong area but I just wanted to introduce myself. Cause apart from my family being my #1 supporters it could never hurt to have you guys to help me go through this life changing journey.

1 last question do you guys think that a women who hasn't had children will have less loose skin? lol I'm nervous about that but if it happens I can deal with loose skin and a thinner body.

Ye, but... you might want to make sure and wait for someone else to confirm it as I am not confident. Better yet, why don't you e-mail the Medifast guys because they can give you help better...

If you follow the plan and do not cheat or try to tweak the program then you will lose weight quickly. I lost 87lbs in about 7 months. The plan works if you follow it...

Welcome to the program! You have to be committed to it for it to work, and it sounds like you are ready to take the plunge! Remember the first few days are a bit rough, but stick it out, drink your water, and stay on plan and you'll be surprised at how easy it is. My mantra in the beginning was "It's only food" when I felt like I wanted to snack or go off plan, but I haven't really had to say that in a long while. Watching the program work for you is huge motivation, and so is the support of these boards. Good luck and happy losing!..

Hi Jesi,.

The plan absoultely works if you follow it as directed. I know for me it has worked well and this is my 3rd time on MF. I lost over 100 pounds two times previously, but gained it back because I let my emotional eating sabotgae me. This time I am seeing a counselor to work on the inside as Medifast works on the outside. You can do this!! I am in week 7 and as of last week had lost 38 pounds. I am in my mid 50's and I guarantee it is a great idea to start and get the weight off at your age.

Good Luck to you and keep us up to date on your weigh ins and journey!! Also as you can see my ticker below is not up to date as I cannot seem to change it here but have been able to on my blog-so as of last week I was at 318 and will weigh tomorrow again!.

I was told by JC that I should aim to lose 120lbs as well but I weigh 280.

, but I would rather lose 140.

Heck to be in the 100's alone I would be very happy lol I'm with you it sucks to feel bad all the time, and feeling tired physcally cause of the extra baggage but we can do this in the name of Jesus I say cause i'm christian =) we didn't build our weight in a day so we shouldn't feel bad cause we didn't lose enough in a day either, losing is losing no matter what you lose.

WOW!! 87lbs in 7 months that is awsome. Congratulations on your loss. that is something that I wouldn't mind losing too..

Thank you so much, and Congrats 96lbs? That's amazing I can't wait to be there..

Thank you and I like your mantra it is only food and I have to realize that too causeI can't let JUST FOOD control my life I like that. i'll definitely stay on plan cause I am ready to lose these pounds..

You are my motivation, seeing how many who have tried this program and trust it so much that they continue with it, it makes me trust this program even more. You did it once, you'll do it again and this time for good. What I have learned so far in my whole life is, not to pass my day's regreting what I should have and could have done, and be grateful and concentrate on what I did and I am doing. The past doens't exist, the future is just an illusion all we have is now..

Thank all of you for your warm walcome and support that I feel already. You guys are my new inspiration and motivation I can't wait to have the same things in common with all of you-that is LOSING THE BAD and GAINING THE GOOD a new HEALTHY life...
