Quick question... Is the lemonade Nutrisystem diet safe for teenagers? Many thanks for any comment. My other question... I'm excited about beginning again. I enjoyed the holidays and continued to learn about maintenance. The overall damage wasn't too great (I'll weigh on Monday my official weigh-in day) and I'm convinced I'm going to reach my goal weight very soon.

I restarted my third rotation with the PP..

How many times do we hear - loss is much easier than maintenance.

- I'm going to start the easy way by just rewinding the clock and starting as if I'm just beginning NS. I hope many of you will join me in this NEW YEAR'S thread..

I also want to report a major NSV for me. Last night my wife and I went to a New Years eve dance. I wore a suit I just found hiding in the back of my closet - it looked and felt great. I felt much younger than any of my friends and I danced without even breaking a sweat. What a MAJOR difference from last year!.

Thanks Bucki - hope you'll forget waiting until Monday - and jump back on the wagon with me today. In my case I dropped 3 pounds yesterday. It was 3 that had just shown up - but it was a great motivator. I slept much better last night without the wine I had been having in the evening - and I already feel better without the munchies I had been having. The key is that I can feel my decision to be healthy is firmly back in place!.

Everyone, DON'T wait until Monday to get back on the wagon - do it today!..

You can't hear that enough because it is so true! Between getting in some good cardio and dropping to 1500 calories on several different days I was able to hold steady..

Congrats on the dancing NSV. I know that we've been out a few times and have been able to go all night...

I'm with you 100% Tom! I've been off plan way too long. Just like BLF said; "Time to quit playing maintenance and become a loser again.".

Good news is I have been within plan guidelines for the last 2 weeks, got back to my all time Nutrisystem low and then some, but official weight posting day for me is Monday. I'm very pleased with the scale trend this week, should make for a really good weigh-in..

Those 2 wolves and I have been having some real heart to heart talks lately. My good wolf sure is looking lean, time to put the bad wolf on a diet...

I've done the same fiddling and it's leading to a slow creep of gaining back my losses a pound at a time..

Went to the gym last night at was up a little again..

So, I'm with you Tom..

Time to stop the off plan messing around and get serious about the little things again and start back in the right direction. I'm good so far today on eating and water consumption..

I think it's going back to a one-meal-at-a-time mode and being much more vigilent again to get myself headed back in the right direction..

We can do this...

I am all in too, starting Sunday..

I have been playing maintenance.

Since Thanksgiving and it has showed..

I have not weighed since Dec. 15 "officially".

But I know that I have gained some because I.

Can see it around the ol' waist line. I will weigh.

On Monday morning and will be 100% starting.

Sunday. I am still at my in-laws house and am.

Traveling all day tomorrow home (10 hours)..

I have not been good this week, my MIL has.

Too many snack foods just sitting out in bowls.

That I can walk by and grab a handful. Just happens.

Without thinking most of the time..

I'm not really beating myself up over all of this but am.

Realizing that I have to control what is in the house.

And what I am around all the time...

I'm really glad all of you are joining me - everyone is welcome including any newbies. After two days, I'm already feeling better and having less hunger. Four pounds have already dropped off so I'm hoping to be back at my low by Monday..

We can do this guys - we already have and by now our bodies are ready for a new round of losses. For now we have to watch those little extras - if we do we'll hit our goals!.

Let's look forward to stepping on the scale again - I know I am!..

I am with you Tom. I have been 100% Nutrisystem today. I am not getting on the scale until Monday morning. I am actually afraid to get on it. I consolidated all my Nutrisystem food with my Brides. I am going to have to cancel my autoshipping because I have too much.

I am going to eat the breakfasts and lunches until I run out and then do some Nutrisystem substituting. I'll do that until I run out of dinners and then figure it out...

Ok this looks like a good place to start. I read a lot of the forums, but they are all 99% women, and I think men go bout this wieght loss thing differently...

Anyways just want to introduce myself and say I just started january first. Not really because of a resolution but because I just got my food delivered on wendesday! hahaha.

Well they left out the instructions, so I am winging it a little. Any advice on planning eating times and meal planning would be great. Or if I am just in the wrong thread , than some direction on where to start would be great!..

Notice they want you to drink 8 glasses of water..

You should contact a counselor by phone or e-mail and have them send the literature out to you right away. Good luck...

Welcome Ulti... This is a great place to reach your goals. One of the key parts of the program is the Mindset Makover book. Make sure you get a copy. Customer service is mostly very good - but sometimes it takes more than one call. Read through some of the large threads - and check out the My Program area.

DO NOT EXPERIMENT for at least the first three weeks - by then you'll be on the right track. Congratulations on a great decision (also check out the recommended foods list for you grocery shopping)..

PS Remember - eat everything on the plan and nothing extra. Don't skip a snack or desert and don't add any extras...

I just looked , nothing!.

Thanks guys for all the support, I spoke with a couselor and they said they will have me a kit by tuesday... I have to admit I have been winging it. I am also wheening off coffee at the same time. I am down to chai tea now, for 3 more days.. Than completely off. I was at 4 or 5 cups before the new year..

ANyways I will heed your advice and read more .. I wanted to cold turkey it and go 100% on the program, but I decided to wheen off the coffee. So I know that is affecting my calorie count and my eating habits!.

By the time I get my kit, I should be full 100% on the program...

Is this a bad start???..

Coffee is a funny thing. Before I started NS, I drank 2 pots of coffee and smoked 3 packs a day. I quit the smokes the same day I started Nutrisystem but didn't really care about decreasing the coffee. That seemed to just happen as my desire for coffee unconsciously (or subconsciously) diminished on it's own. Now, in the last 2 or 3 months I have regained a taste for coffee. I drink it with FF cream and Nutrisweet and do not count it toward my daily water consumption. YMMV...

Ulti, you asked if this is a bad start - if this were a diet - maybe - but if this is really going to be a lifestyle change - it means working out what works and what will make you healthy and happy. This is a long term process - even after you have a lot of success and have been on the program for a long time - you'll find you'll still be making adjustments and learning (at least I am)..

The key is a serious decision to adopt a new and healthy lifestyle - if you've made that decision, there is no bad start!..

I agree with you Damon, coffee is a funny thing. I absolutely love it. I don't "need" it, but it is awesome. I usually have 2 reg cups in the morning and maybe 2-4 more cups throughout the day of decaf. I don't use creamer but do use splenda, and decaf does count as part of your water IF you want to count it. I usually don't count it...

For my official weigh in I'm back down to 201 - so I made it through the holidays +1 pound - much better than the 207 I was on 1/1! I'm glad I started back immediately; apparently, the Mobay approach (just jump back on the wagon 100% and the last few pounds will come right off) does work!..

Alright I'm back on 100% this morning..

Back from out of town where I took my food but didn't even touch it..

Up 4 pounds, but that took me almost a month to lose in the first place..

Hopefully being 100% it will drop off like Tom's did..

OK, it is time for me get back on the wagon today too. I maintained my weight pretty well over the holidays because of the cardio workouts skiing in VT. But I slipped back to my old ways eating fat laden muffins and chocolate like a junkie with crack. Last night I ate a whole BIG bar of Hershey's chocolate just because it was there. So if I am going to loose any weight sitting on my butt in an office I have to go cold turkey with the junk food and go Nutrisystem 100%. I hope the crows in my neighborhood like the sweets and junk food I am going to throw out to them tonight...

OK I am back. I was 100% Nutrisystem all weekend. I was on the exercise bike 40 minutes yesterday. I stayed away from beer and wine all weekend. I am 100% today so far and on about 40 oz of water. I got on the scales this morning and I was up 1.8 lbs from Christmas Eve morning.

As Tom said the Mobay method works...

For all of you hopping back on the wagon, I really recommend you start recording everythng - it works! Somone suggested "Lose It" for the iphone - it works very well - of course you can always use "NS>My Program" (I think the performance has improved) - or the log book that comes in the BBB. It's making a difference for me...

Ok I am still waiting on my KIT! But I am taking in as much of the advice as I can, a lot to swallow no pun intended..

I started logging my daily meals as of today, but I got to tell you it took like 10 minutes. It should of took 30 seconds...

The program is set up to be easy, it's just so damn slow. Who has time to log when life is working, and now were meal planning and exercising....

You are going to get a meal planner in your box, ultimoleon. It has circles for each of the entrees and other meal additions. That's a lot easier to use than the online meal log. You have to write that stuff out, but it's a lot faster than online...

I certainly hope so, I was bad over the holiday season. My wife and I went to a Brazilian steak house for New Year's Eve and I failed to show restraint. I certainly felt the effects the next day..

I weighed in this morning and I am up 4 lbs since before the holidays. Time to get serious...

It was that place right off of 121 between Glade and Hall Johnson. Boi na Braza..

Unfortunately the only thing that was hot was the unlimited supply of steak. (Besides my wife and me :-) ).

It was too delicious and a complete failure on my part in the arena of moderation...

OK no kit yet, I will continue to log into this systems program... Has anyone suggested they make food log program go faster...

I mean I have to admit this site has a lot going on. A great forum and lots of help and advice, it sure would be nice if we could log in our daily meals a lot faster...

Do you guys plan your meals in the morning? the night before? or just go with the flow ??.

I got tied up on a project, so I did not get my lunch until 4, should I skip a snack or desert or dinner?? ANy suggestions? Somedays things come up and I have to work thru lunch, how do you guys deal with that??.

I am trying very hard to eat all six meals, but it actually seams like a lot of food.. NOT like the 2 extra large meals I am accustomed toooo But a lot of meals!..
