09 Mommuse ....... 200.5 .... 193.6.

10 Cinderelly13 ............. 257.0.

I guess this is our core group in here. But if the other girls want to recommit we'll be more than happy to add them back to our chart. The more, the merrier!!!.

The only requirement is that each member should post and report her weight at least once a week minimum!.

How about we start a "Spring Challenge"..

Since we have 5 weigh ins this month, let's see who will reach their goals this month. For some of you can be reaching your goal weight, for others, entering "Onederland" or getting into another decade, etc. We set our own goals for this month and let's see who will reach them. Actually, we would be challenging ourselves ....

So, would you like to play this game this month!?!.

I want to enter the 180s before the end of this month. Than next month I wan to hit the 170s and in June I want hit the 160s ... My main goal is to be at goal weight before my birthday this year, July 24th. I want to wear my silk white pair of pants with my silk blueish top. They still don't fit therm. I have bought them last year but this year I'll wear them for sure..

Have a great day, everybody!..

Love the challenge idea Angelica! so:.

Lisa, you're right I totally forgot to add our group name, "Angie's Angels" can we fix it?!! I just don't know how ....

I'm so happy that you guys liked the idea of challenging ourselves this month. This will give us all a good push!.

But what do you guys say about removing the names of the inactive people temporarily until they decide to come back again!?!.

I love all your goals for this month. Funny that you all challenged yourselves to read the scriptures on a daily basis. I don't go to bed without reading a passage or two. Just love the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. I knew I like you all, my little "Angels".

Going to bed now ... getting very sleepy zzzzZZZZZZZZ can't keep my eyes open anymore , sorry guys, good night!..

Morning....

Angelica to answer your question...I feel the names should be left on..It doesn't hurt anything and this way it won't make anyone feel like they have been "kicked out" or "abandoned", even though that is not the case..

It is a very sensitive issue and I know from experience when you are struggling with the program and or life in general, you feel defeated and bad about yourself already, the last thing you need is to come here to "our place of friends, fellowship & acceptance" and find you have been removed..

Just my opinion..

Hope all had a great OP weekend!!.

Angelica~ I concur with Joannes suggestion. Let's leave the names on at the bottom of the list and add the last weigh in weight they posted, then they don't see a blank or ???..

Off to the shop today... can't wait to see how much we accomplish...

Hi All!.

Had a great weekend with daughter. Fun wedding shower and just seeing her old college friends. I will try to post one or two pics later but if I try to add it to this I am sure I will mess it up..

I agree to keep the names on the list on our absent members. Maybe don't put the dashes or dots but just keep their name so they know we remember them... because I do!.

I was 189.4 this morning. Same as last Thursday when I did an official early weigh in. Feel okay about that as I wasn't 100% OP on Saturday. Was a little hard at shower to not eat anythign so I did my best. Staying the same is okay and I hope to lose some by this Friday..

I am excited to be fitting in some size 12's. I am truly probably a 14 but some 12's now fit. Amazes me. Can't even remember or figure out how long since I was a 12. Maybe never?? I have to say that I now enjoy shopping. I don't buy anything not on a good sale but I can still find a few things.

What I am discovering is that I am not just buying clothes I am building a wardrobe. I have enough choice now to stay within color ranges that I love and chose only things that I think are the right style and cut for me (and I buy them a little snug so I can wear them longer). Who woulda thought??.

I drove by Kim's new store today but it was closed. Looks so cute in the Old Town Tustin area with lots of cute shops. I will try another time. Angelica, I don't have a meeting tomorrow night so if dinner is still a possibility I think I can join you. Where and when?.

My goals for the month of April:.

1) lose 5.2 pounds and weigh 184.2 (no longer obese!!).

2) walking or exercising 3 times week (find good place to park and then walk at beach???).

3) spend more time in prayer (start congregational prayer ministry again).

4) enjoy preparation time for wedding.

So glad to see some folks back on boards even if just reading and a quick hello. We love that!.

Will update ticker now and try to post pictures!.

Welcome back Jan! Glad you enjoyed yourself and held your own weight wise. That can be an accomplishment in itself, so another NSV!! I love to read about your reflections..and building a wardrobe.......and yes it is amazing!!.

Janine..like the new avitar pic and the glasses...what a "hot chic" you have become...hugsss.

OP day for me and will have 144 oz in me by the time I go to bed tonight.

I did another Leslie Sansone Walking DVD after work today...it was a 2 mile walk in 30 minutes, intermediate level...and that was a bit of a challenge for me...BUT IT FELT GOOD!!! Apparently I am VERY out of shape. I was almost embarassed to admit it was challenging, with Janine, Lisa Karan..you all rock the exercise dept...but it is what it is. I accept that..

Hope everyone had a great weekend and can find a minute or two to fill us in on how they are!.

Hugs.

Trying to get caught up on everyone's posts. Busy weekend. Took DH with me to spin on Sunday as he is doing the 27 mile ride with me next Sunday the 10th. I have to admit I enjoyed watching him struggle through a bit. Does that make me bad?.

Goals for April.

27 mile bike ride April 10th.

1st triathlon April 17th.

185 by the end of April.

Drink my Water!.

I also just joined a 90 day weight loss challenge at the gym - our weigh in is on Saturday. I am not really expecting to win this one but you get a trainer to help and I figure it will help keep me going..

Joanne- Congrats on the Walking DVD - When I started C25K over a year ago now I couldn't even jog 1 minute. Sometimes we don't give ourselves enough credit for small changes that make big differences..

Janine- Girl you are en fuego! I am so excited for you. you are an inspiration..

Lisa- You'll make week 5 in No time!.

Angelica- I hear those silk pants just calling your name..

Jan- Way to go on the size 12! Do you need to have your dress for the wedding taken in?.

Lisa18- Welcome Back.

Elaine- Did you get some of the brief rain this am? Hope we can get together soon. It would be great to meet you in person..

I hope I didn't leave anyone out but it's a distinct possibility..

I should be getting my order this week- I'm getting down to the flavors I like least but will eat in a pinch. I have never run out yet- maybe I should knock on something..

Wishing all the Angels a heavenly night!..

Jan~ Love your new pic!!! You look marvelous my dear! So glad to hear that you had a fun weekend with your daughter. I imagine that if you hadn't seen many of the 'girls' in awhile, many must have been encouraging about your weight loss. Isn't it fun buying clothes! Be careful though, you will go down sizes very quickly... very quickly! Your goals are great..

Joanne~ WTG on the exercise yesterday.. you were really booking to get in 2miles in 30 min. Did you leave a trail of sweat behind you, plenty of calories being burned there..

Karan~ I'm going to dust my bike off and take it in for a maintenance check.. you've totally inspired me to start biking. You'll be burning the calories at your bike and triathlon.. how do you manage your Medifast food during and before the race?.

OP day for me yesterday.. I didn't get as much water in as I usually do.. will make an effort to get in 100 oz today. Plan to work on the new shop all day, sheetrockers and electricians are in today and we hope to paint 3 walls on Thursday.. and hopefully the rest on Friday. I closed JT Blu yesterday, which just kills me..

Think I'll be able to re-open JT Blu on Thursday. Anyway, it's coming along!!.

>>good day ahead, sheetrockers and electricians are in this morning, hope to paint the walls on Thursday...

Janine- As far as managing my Medifast meals on race days- I'm really not sure I will have to talk with nutritional support to see what they suggest since I will be pushing the limits on exercise. I can go 60 minutes no problem as long as I have a bar immediately after but these events will be closer to 2 hours of strenuous exercise so I think I will have to adjust for race day. I'll let you know what they suggest. Thanks for reminding me...

Morning all!.

Sorry I've been just dropping by the last few days.... soooo busy! Doing well this week and getting many things done. I'm soooo sore today! My lower back is bothering me a little. Hope I'm not pushing myself too much. If it still bothers me tonight I'm going to have to take a muscle relaxer... UGH...

Jan- So happy you're home and had such a good time... bet you miss your baby. My boys are all getting ready to leave the nest within the next few years. One is already talking about moving east to stay with family or just relocating to another city... **sigh** I'm sure going to miss them. And look at your new pics!! Fabulous! I can't believe you're already under 25 to goal...

Think about where you would be right now if you didn't make the commitment to MF... so proud of you!.

Janine- I had an issue getting all my water in yesterday too... don't usually have that problem... Dust off that bike sista and start peddling!! Karen has inspired me so many times through these last 6 months... She's the one that made me think I could start the C25K... Don't think I ever told her that. DID YOU HEAR THAT KAREN!!!.

I'm even considering training for a Triathlon after the C25K is done... course since I live in a large city, I would join a gym and train there. Have fun remodeling....

Karen- Read my reply to Janine above... good luck with your weight loss competition! I have been wondering... did you follow a plan while training for the triathlon or just come up with your own schedule?.

Angelica- I never thought about what would be best with taking the other members name off the list before, but everyone makes a good point. It's not that difficult to keep their names on, just copy and past, and if they even just come by to read a little bit but they're not ready to recommit yet they'll be encouraged to know that we haven't forgotten them and still hope they get back OP. I know and you know that they're not forgotten, but just seeing their name may really encourage them. Speaking of being OP... how are you doing? Haven't seen your daily accountability so has me a little worried.. Don't you give up now! Push through...

Lisa- I went on beginnner triathalete.com to get my workout. Money is tight. So I am spending my money on Medifast and the event and doing everything else myself. I did win 2 training sessions in a silent auction for charity that I will take advantage of between my 1st and 2nd Tri. I am also lookin into a program called Team in Training where they provide trainnig for events if you fundraise for cancer. Go Lisa Go! Hot bath for the back and for the psyche!.

I just talked with nutritional support they gave me suggestions for each race based on my current size type of race and duration..

On the 1st race I will do 4/2/1 and on tri day I will do 4/2/2 ..

She was very nice on the phone...

Sorry, girls, I did post last night on my DH iPad and when I was changing the color to send it I lost everything ... urgh!!!.

Anyway, I've not been 100% OP. and my weight was up again ... 200.0 this morning. But I am recommitting and will be 100% for the rest of the month, so help me God! Please, pray for me..

Jan and Kim are coming for dinner tonight and we'll talk more about it. I need my sisters support badly!.

Regarding leaving the names on our Weekly Report with their last weigh in numbers, I think it would be discouraging to them ... If it were me, and if I had gained some weight back or regained all of it, I would be too embarrassed to come back seeing my old numbers there. But I DO understand everybody's point of view, and know exactly where you guys are coming from. I just think differently. And I'm open to it, if you guys think it's better this way, so be it! I'll keep their names on, no problem..

Jan and Janine, I love the new pictures ... you guys look great!.

Janine, the glasses are different, and my girl, you look like a new person. Can't wait to be there where you are, 9 pounds away from goal weight ... I better stick to the program, right!?!.

Lisa, my darling, thank you for your concern. I'm going through a lot and sometimes I just want to be bad. My kind of revenge, I don't know ... But I don't want to worry you guys with my personal problems ... I'll just stick to the program and let the rest follow it's course..

Lisa, thanks for asking Karan what wa the 4/2/2, I was wondering the same. By the way, Karan's name spells with 2 As.

KARAN.

, LOL.

You keep spelling Karan with E like the average/regular Karen ... LOL ... She is a different Karan, LOL.

Joanne, I am so out of shape too ... don't feel bad, my friend, slowly we can do it!.

I have a beautiful bicycle and will start riding it again ... the days are so pretty over here! But I am NOT committing to a triathlon ... no way Jose ... I'm the Yoga/Pilates type of girl!.

Need to start cooking for my girls ... talk to you all tonight! Love you all, my sweet Angels!.

Hey, here is a picture my sister took of me last Saturday, after arriving from the Bridal Shower!.

I'm wondering too..will you have to have it taken in?? Doesn't that daily accountability make all the difference?? I see your numbers are dropping again!!.

Karan..you are an amazing woman!! I can't imagine how busy you must be with yoru training and planning and exercise. I wonder sometimes how you girls have the energy to do it all...not to mention the sore feet, knees or back...I guess I am a bit jealous of that ability..but hope to get there myself. Great Job Karan! Hope your food comes soon!.

Lisa..I hope your back feels better..nothing worse..and it hampers our exercise! Please take care of it, especially since you got hurt a few years back...thinking of you! hugsss.

Jan~ Wish I could have been a butterfly on your shoulder Jan when you walked into that room. I can't imagine what the comments were but know that they must have been supportive and "what's your secret"..

Karan~ Let us know what Medifast has to say about what you should be taking in as far as calories, I've always wondered how the marathon runners do it.. just imagine eating all day long.

Looking up trathalete.com now. 4/2/2.. I agree with Lisa. must.look.into.this!.

Lisa~ gulp, gulp.. just downed another 12 oz, how about you? It's good to have this support group so we can jiggle each other to get drinking, get biking and stay OP! I've got it on my list to ask the boys what needs to be done to the bike to get it in tip top shape. Meeting with a girlfriend on Monday for coffee.. last time we met she was trying to talk me into one of these bike tours where you go for 2 weeks, she was thinking the South of France.. I'm thinking that it would be a happy day to do the 7 mile loop in town..

Angelica~ So good to hear your voice, we've missed you so... are you ready for your Janine talk?.

Life Happens. Death Happens. Bad Things Happen To Good People. Friends Stab You In The Back. Husbands Suck. Money...

Jobs Go Away. Cars Break. Mothers Die. Life Happens Angelica... always will.

We need to re-wire our brain... until we are able to make these changes in our thought process we will eat to fix our latest problem or crisis. We will gain back the weight that we fought so hard to lose. It isn't easy... each and every day we have to fight to change!!! It's easy to make excuses, we all have our challenges...

How fun! Wonderful pictures! Angelica and Jan... just look at the now and then shots! Love that!.

Just doing a drive-by, since I can find time early at 4:00am..

Jan, so excited about your daughter's wedding coming up. She's beautiful... and so are you!.

I'm really loving how you all are supporting Angelica, Joanne and each other. It's wonderful to see. Joanne and Angelica, you both are an inspiration, truly. This new way of life is full of learning and turns along the journey, but you all are getting back on the path and that's such an inspiration to those who cannot do it 100% all the time..

And if we're still doing the April challenge, here's mine:.

1) finish my daughter's elementary memory book!.

2) drink at least 24 ounces of water on the weekends (I'm starting small... I totally don't drink it on the weekends and it's affecting my progress).

3) take a yoga class.

4) lose 8 pounds so I can get my 10th charm for my bracelet (I get a charm every 10 lbs... so, I have 9 charms so far for losing 80+ pounds plus an extra charm for hitting onederland - a cheshire cat :-).

5) Post here at least 2 times a week, to stay connected with you all!.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday!.

Hugs!.

Monday Morning: 196.8.

Tuesday Morning: 200.0.

Wednesday Morning: 197.6.

Doing an hour and half of Hatha Yoga today OR going for a swim ... my pool is not heated yet, so, it's not going to be easy, but I need it! I'll let you all know which one I did today later on!.

Janine, I was rereading your coaching, and you are so right ... Life happens and we need to deal with it regardless ... and if I'm not on program, it gets even worse. No more excuses! I'm doing it! Thanks for being my friend and being there for me! I love you!.

This goes to each and everyone of you! Thank you for being there for me! I love you all!.

Lisa, I'll keep the girls name at the bottom of our chart and will not post their last weight. This way, they'll feel more comfortable if they want to come back. Hey, hang strong when baking your boy's birthday cake today!!! Ummmmm temptations!!!!.

Happy Lisa, you're doing great, my girl!!! I also love yoga. I'm a certified yoga teacher! But got so out of shape that don't even know if I can get back into some of the "Asanas" (postures). But I'm going to restart it again, because it's something that I love!.

Keep drinking that water! It flushed the extra weight out of me ... see my accountability above! I didn't gain 4 pounds over night, it was sodium retention! I also love your reward gifts! We're such girly girls in here, huh!?!.

Hey, Janine, I love the pictures of some of your boutiques on Facebook! You have very nice stuff in there! Good luck with your new one!.

My friend Kim can't get into her account in here anymore ... this is the second time she loses her ID and Password ... and she thinking it's too much hassle, but she committed to report to me (text message) every Friday morning. By the way, she's going to by all her Medifast food with me now ... yeah! yeah!!! I have two clients now!!! Whoohoo!!! I'll be rich! LOL.

Gotta go now! Have a great day every one!!!..

Hello all sorry I've been missing just caught up reading April couldn't figure where everyone went I missed the new thread message at the end of Angelica's post but thank you Happy Lisa for letting me know!!!.

I wondered where everyone went!!!.

I was on plan yesterday and am on plan so far today. Hoping for a good Friday weigh in - but we'll see..

Has anyone else who has ventured off plan for a few days panicked about transition? I find that I'm worried. I gain weight so fast it's scary here's an example..

I veered off plan (by replacing Medifast bars with Detour and or Builder Bars) for a few days fairly low carb bars - but not on plan and I had too many of them for several days in a rowmy weight jumped over 10 pounds during that time. I think to myself, how is this possible? But it always has been with me. Worries me that when I get to goal and begin transition the weight will just pile back on guess I should worry about getting to goal first - then worry about transition, huh!?.

April goals.

1. Get under 190 (this may be tough - but it's a goal).

2. Begin exercising regularly again.

3. Stay 100% OP!! (which should help with goal #1).

See you guys tomorrow!..

Elaine..I can't say that has worried me...but then it may be because I have a long way yet...or I don't want to deal with that stress which for me could be a sabotage waiting to happen..

But I can tell you when I was off plan last month I was eating some normal food and a number of days I only had 1 maybe 2 Medifast meals. I ended up gaining 9.6 # but that was over a few weeks..and it did all come off plus 2.2 more in 9 days..

I would like to think that our bodies will adjust..and Angelica has mentioned for each pound we lost just how long we need to be in T&M..I forget the ratio...but it's a longggggggg while..

Have you tried asking Nutritional Suppiort? Let us know what they say if you do..

Hang tight..and don't let the panic set in and derail you...cross one bridge at a time. And don't forget...we are all here for you and will be for a long while. hugssssss.

Joanne.

Other than that I can't say much more...

Okay... so here I am today having a bad day.... just tired and frustrated today. So I'm trying to push through this day and here comes DH and asks what's wrong. So I tell him I'm just tired... tired of my messy house, tired of this, tired of that, and most of all tired of this diet...

I explain how 6 months is a looooong time to be on a diet. So he smiles, hugs me and very quietly asks me, "How long have you been fat Lisa?" "19 years" I reply.... He stares me straight in the eye and lovingly says, "6 months is not that long honey." How did I get so lucky?.

Thanks Joanne!.

I'm impressed with your determination and frame of mind right now, being 100% OP, exercising ... I'm so proud of you! You are also inspiring me! Woohoo, you're rocking, my girl!!!.

I still haven't done my Yoga today, the pool was too cold. Maybe I jump the rope Jan gave to me for 15 minutes! Thanks Jan, I'll think of you each jump! LOL.

Lisa, I am like you, I keep cooking the "Not Legal Foods" for my family and dear ones ... Wishing you son a Happy Birthday and lots of Fu!!!.

Elaine my darling, Joanne is right, let's not worry about T&M yet. Actually Janine and Vilma are closer to T&M and they are the ones that should be worrying about this. I hope to learn a lot from both of them..

For every 2.2 pounds that we lose, we need to maintain it for 1 month. So, if we lose 100 lbs divided by 2.2 = 45.45 divided by 12 months = 3.78. So, when I hit 165 lbs I will have to be on maintenance for 3 years and 7 or 8 months. I didn't do that when I was down to 178 last year (I was only 13 pounds away from my goal weight). And I went back to eating everything and the weight came back on much faster than I had lost it. I think the same has happened to Joanne..

Anyway, got my 120 oz of water in, my 5 Medifast meals and my LG..

Actually, I only need to drink 98.8 oz now. We only have to drink half of our weight in water, H2O. (Not coffee, not sodas, not teas, etc.).

But I need to do my rope jumping in order to be accountable for today!.

Good night y'all!..

Swinging by this AM to say HI!!!.

OP day yesterday, drank my water.

Sheet rock inspector gave the OK.

Painted the ceiling last night.

Priming and painting west wall today.

Re-opened JT Blu!!!!.

Kind of a stressful evening.. realized that I had put the incorrect phone number on a major advertising piece for one of our hotels. Hoping that I can 'buy' that number today.. maybe I'll be fired from my job. Oh please, oh please! Anyway, it's kind of a big deal since it really does effect the bottom line, DH is not too happy. Trying to keep all those plates spinning, sometimes I falter.....

Old habits would have been to eat my way thru' this crisis. I still have that instinct.. pushing those thoughts to the back, what would that accomplish, nothing. How can I fix it: make the calls, be calm, pray. What happens if I can't buy the number???? Deal with that then, not now, deal with what can be dealt with at the moment..

To be con't..

Janine - you have the right attitude. Deal with the issue as cleanly and forthrightly as you can. You have a plan, so work the plan. If the first plan doesn't work, figure out a new one. WE know you can make it work somehow and it is not the end of the world. And you are so right to know that eating incorrectly won't fix it.

If you accomplish staying on plan this week, then you know that you have truly learned and incorporated that new learning. That is an incredible blessing that will serve you well beyond this particular crisis! Keep being strong. You are doing great..

Joanne - down even more! The ticker will move tomorrow and I think you will have hit your 45 pound goal! Whoopee. Do you have any kind of reward for you planned? You should because this one was a struggle but you did it! We are so proud of you. You go girl!.

Angelica - you are back on track. Keep going. I'm with you about transition. Scares me but I am trying to stay focused on where I am now. I figure that Janine and Lisa and others are going to lead us into transition one at a time and we will learn from them..

As important as having each other is in the weight loss phase, I am pretty sure that being here for each other in transition will be even more important. But transition for more than three years, could that be true???? lol. If so, then I go right back to Lisa's dear husband who reminds us all: (in comparison to how long we've been fat, it's "not that long honey." (I know he would call us "honey" too if he knew us)! what a sweetie..

My number up today to 189.4. I will drink all my water today and then some!!.

Had trouble getting on line yesterday. Thought it was Medifast site but since you all posted during the morning and day, I guess it was just me. Have to get some exercise tonite although it's supposed to rain again tonight and tomorrow. Where is spring??.

Tommorw night we go to see son's high school production of Fame. He is on the tech crew and has been working for weeks on this - video and audio stuff. Should be fun!.

Have a great day!..

Janine- ROFL!!! I was laughing so hard when I read your pleas for your DH to fire you... I TOTALLY understand.....

I'm excited for us both... we are handling our personal emotional issues differently and truly changing the way we live! This is the only group I feel comfortable enough to share what my DH did he's such a wonderful guy and it worked like a switch in my mind! No more issues from that moment on... at least for a while... lol.

Very happy that we're all here working through our issues without reaching for the food... we can do it ladies!!.

Joanne- Didn't I just say something similar to you? LOL Isn't this a great support group..

Thanks my friend- for the encouragement and the hug!!.

Angelica- Hi my friend! Keep on keeping on!! OP all the way..

Jan- You are soooo right! Good news though... it's not the transition that's so long, it's the maintenance that's long... It's meant to make sure you have really got this new life style down, not just the diet/losing weight part of it.... Enjoy your son's show!! I love live drama's... even the high school ones..

Busy day today all... going to the Dr. so I'll be out of the office. Hopefully I'll be able to post this evening..

Darn it!! Had a post almost ready to send and Medifast site shut down on me.....grrrrrrrrrrrrrr..not sure if I hit a key or what...anyways....I just wanted to say Janine I will pray for you and that there is a quick resolution to the issue at hand. Please if you can let us know. {{{{{JANINE}}}} You are so close to goal..NOTHING can stop you know. You have pushed through that "old thinking" barrier and that is something to be so darn proud of!! Handle one thing at a time, and like Jan said if that don't work THEN you go on to another plan. Love you girl..stay strong!.

Jan you were right on the money with Janine. Great support! I have never ever rewarded myself for mini goals. I know a lot do..and I know I said I would..but I never get to doing it..not sure why that is. But looking at yours..I think the idea of a bracelet with beads is something I could do as I like jewelery. It is a continual, visual and constant reminder and each time you reach another mini goal it builds and shows the total picture...not sure if that made sense to anyone but that's the best way I can describe it. Sounds like a fun evening tomorrow...let us know how it goes.

Have a great day ladies back later.

Angelica~ Evening girl.. how did you do today? Love that you'll be joining us daily, you'll soon realize that it is so helpful.. Thanks for the compliment about the shops.. those pics were quick shots for a online magazine, not real pleased with the quality and items that they included but free advertising is free advertising..

Lisa18~ What charms do you collect? I noticed that both you and Jan do that. Love your other goals for the month of April. You'll love yoga, it stretches places where you didn't know you had muscles..

Jan~ Your words were just perfect, thanks for the encouragement and support. How was 'Fame'... love that your son is active in HS, that's so important!.

Lisa~ Doctor???? What did he have to say about your weight loss?.

Joanne~ Thank you for your support and prayer.. still waiting for the call back, love the waiting game..

I called our CS gal at the telephone co and she is 'checking'.. the number is not assigned to anyone and it's not on hold.. there is a very good possibility that I'll be able to buy the number. Oh thank you Lord!!! Thank you all for your prayers.

Not much else going on....

-2.4 (173.5) this week.

.... sooooo close to 70 lb.! Hoping to lose that little extra .2 by tomorrow morning..

Janine- We'll keep praying that you can get that #. It wasn't that kind of Dr. had a spot on my leg and wanted to make sure it wasn't skin cancer... everything is A-okay..

So this Dr. doesn't know that I lost weight. We'll see if he notices any difference when I go for a follow up in 2 months. You going into T&M now?.

Hope everyone else has a great day... get rest this weekend and drink lots of water!.

While I'm already behind reading and posting again - I am down a smidge this week.

200.2.

......so the cheshire cat is going to taunt me the second time around too!! Thought I'd gotten rid of him..

I won't be experimenting with alternative products again any time soon those will need to wait on T&M they reeked havoc with my weight in a very short time period. Probaby would have made the 190's again this week - but had field trip with Kinder yesterday and had diet sode instead of water and didn't get anywhere close to the proper fluid intake for the day..

Will do better today - though I'm already behind on the H2O......went back to bed for a couple of hours after putting the boys on the bus so I'm about 32 oz behind where I usually am!!..

190.4, down a measly .7.

Trying not to get discouraged, but the past month I've only lost 4.2 lbs. I guess a loss is a loss. (sigh) I was sad earlier this week and my 8-year-old daughter asked me what I was sad about. I told her that Mommy isn't losing weight very fast and it makes me sad. She replied, "Didn't you say that the more you lose, it gets harder to lose? Don't be sad." Such a simple statement. Listen to the children :-) Maybe my body is just adjusting? Good NSV...

I can't even remember when I fit in a size 14..

Joanne, love your new pic! And I feel a new happiness and energy with your posts. I want some of that spirit :-).

Jan, love your bead bracelet. Love the colors. I'll post a picture of mine when I reach 90lbs... probably next year :-) Janine, my bracelet is silver charms, with each charm having a special meaning to reflect what was happening or what I was overcoming to lose that particular 10 pounds. Joanne... if you are thinking of doing a charm or bead bracelet, do it.

I wear it everyday and only my family knows it's special meaning. My kids actually helped me pick out some of them..

Angelica! Whoosh with your loss! That's wonderful! And so happy about you telling me about your yoga connection. I'm afraid to do it for fear I'll look like a klutz, not be able to do poses, etc. But I've heard it helps not only with exercising your body, but stress and that's what I need the most to deal with now. So, tell me not to worry about not being able to do much of anything for a while! And you need to start up again. It looks like it brought you a lot of joy..

Janine... hotels, travels, opening stores... once again, I want to be you in my next life :-).

Lisa... adore your husband!.

Hi to Elaine, Vilma and everyone else!.

I'm off to drink my water... yes, I'm going to stick to my goals in April..

Hugs!.

Jan- LOVE the bracelet! Purple is my favorite color and I prefer the white gold or silver look...

Angelica- WOO HOO! Keep at it... can't wait till you're in the 180's... I'm practicing my happy dance..

Janine- Believe it or not, I would love to join you! I really enjoy painting and it wouldn't hurt for me to practice my faux style painting... not the best at it. Course, I couldn't really help you if I'm not that great... lol... but I am really good at cutting! Guess I have a steady hand..

HappyLisa, we have all been there but it will get better. I slowed down and then had a good week last week so they can still happen. Plus, it doesn't really matter when we get to goal, as long as we get to goal! It may slow down but you're still losing! Keep at it..

Joanne, I keep forgetting to say that I love your new picture. You are so cute. And hey, you have lost more than 45 pounds so you need to update your goal as "Met." Woohoo. And you will soon be in the 40's! That will be a big accomplishment. I agree that you have a renewed spirit and energy that is contagious - so thanks!.

Was down this morning .4 to 186.8. Moving along.....

Son's high school play was good last night. He was doing tech work so not on stage. Enjoyed it but we are all glad that it is over tonight because it was a ton of time. After two shows today he does curling late tonight. Oh, to be young!.

Angelica, I tried to post and got confused again. My brain gets foggy and then I couldn't find my cheat sheet. I will try again later when not so tired. or you can give me a real quick review in a post... I hate it when I get tired and my mind is a sieve... seive...

Let's go back to sieve... the leaky thing that is my brain!.

I think since we have all become a group that it would be good to each share a paragraph about ourselves so my leaky brain can get a grasp. I don't mean things you wouldn't want to share online but just stuff you are comfortable with. As an example:.

Jan: 58 years old. Born and raised in California and living in Huntington Beach, CA. Married for 27 years to Mark. Have daughter Melissa 24 - the one getting married - who is a speech language pathologist. Have a son Nick, 18, graduating high school in June and then going to a community college for possible degree and work in videography stuff. Husband and I are both United Methodist pastors serving two different churches.

I remember one day when I was an intern at the Reference Desk that someone came up and "shushed" me - and I was the librarian! It lets you know I can get pretty loud!).

Love to read, music and travel - when I can. Lived in Scotland for a year when I was 18. Spent a month on short term mission project in Sierra Leone, West Africa in the 1980's. Have visited Europe, bunch of places in US, love Banff, Canada and one of my favorite places is Prince Edward Island, Canada. Love the Anne of Green Gables books which are set in PEI. If and when my daughter has a daughter, we are doing a girls holiday to PEI..

Not really a quilter but have made three photo quilts in the last few years for special occasions for family/friends. I come from a big family and the nieces and nephews are starting to get married and have children and I love it - absolutely love it. It is a good time in my life and getting better!.

Just thought I'd share.... anybody else???..

I'm expecting company so forgive me if I dont reply to all the posts at this this time..but will continue tomorrow if I get interrupted...

Angelica..I am glad the scale went down and for that in the evening...wow..keep on doing what you know you have to!! I know you will be all right...it is just a little bit of "life". Hang tight my friend!! ONE MEAL AT A TIME.. call me if you get the urge to eat off plan...but just remember I am 3 hours later than you here....

Lisa18..Give yourself a big pat on the back...I mean 83 pounds girl! Reality Check here....YOU ARE DOING WONDERFUL!!! (I would give a lot to be in a size 14 right now.

)...you know things slow down the closer we get to goal. I had the same thing a bit ago as you know by my posts in here...and I didn't have that many pounds off..and I felt is was unwarranted...and look where that thinking got me! You have a lot to be proud of...

Jan, I love your sharing! Two ministers in two different churches? I love that! What a wonderful family and love how you've traveled. What is a photo quilt? It sounds beautiful... I'm assuming it's a quilt made out of photos? Thank you for suggesting we share. I came in late to the group and really sometimes wonder about everyone and wish I knew more about them..

Here goes me....

Lisa18: Just turned 50 in January. Married to Bart for 23 wonderful years. He keeps me laughing. I have a 13-year-old son named Tiger in 7th grade and an 8-year-old daughter, Teddi, in 2nd. Love them so much. My husband and I didn't start having tykes until we'd been married 10 years, so we are older parents than most.

Hoping to get a scottish terrier soon..

We live in Austin, Texas. We've lived here for 6 years. Before that, Charlotte, North Carolina. I was born in NJ, but grew up in Naples, Florida. We've also lived in Maine. My husband is a stay-at-home-dad, but substitute teaches when he can.

Stressful job, but love the company and the people. Before getting into marketing, I worked in television as a news producer among other jobs. Jan, I met my husband at a TV station he is a videographer by trade. Cool that your son is thinking about it..

I love nature and recently took up a love of hiking. We travel when we can. I love self-help books and seminars and love motivational speakers and have a secret desire to become one some day, but my speaking skills and motivational skills leave much to be desired. :-).

That's really it in a nutshell... I spend each day in the "now" or try to..

Can't wait to hear from everyone else..

You girls are so funny!.

Scale keeps moving down, 196.8 Yes!!! I'm back in the game..

Lisa 18, we have so much in common!!! I also would love to be a Motivational Coach! I'm already a Health Coach LOL and Yoga is a blessing. Even if we can't do the postures 100% right, it still gives us wonderful benefits!!! Just keep doing them and remember to breath!.

Jan, love the idea of sharing more with one another. But I'm with Joanne, I'll have to take a rain check. We had a "Humanitarian Day" today at my church (LDS) and we made 150 scarves for our soldiers abroad, 14,000 blankets for cancer children, and 100s of Higyne Kits for the local homeless and games for the children. It was a very busy day and I'm exhausted again..

Janine, you are amazing, need an extra hand over there!?!.

Waiting to hear from the rest of the team to post our chart. If I don't from them until tomorrow, I'll post the weight chart anyways..

Joanne, something clicked right for you this time, what was it?!?.

Good night all!..

Angelica...Aside from still having the desire to lose this weight (I think we always have that.... it's just that it is buried a little deeper at times) here are a couple:.

*Daily Accountability!! THANK YOU to whomever started that...was it Jan?? Janine??.

*having a group that I bond with.

~which allowed me to easily come back without embarrassment after "life happened".

~which offered understanding, support, compassion, friendship.

So thank you to each one of you ladies for being on this journey with me!!.

Angelica..I am so happy that things have "clicked" for you and you are back, stronger than ever..

Joanne... Your so sweet and funny! You didn't sound preachy. Now, Jan sounds preachy to me, but not you. (Jan, that's my veiled attempt at humor because you are a minister. :-). Seriously, I saw nothing but caring and honesty.

Angelica... When we both get to goal, we'll be able to live our lives motivating people! I believe I cannot be what god wants me to be until I overcome my reasons for eating and love myself no matter what..

I'll leave you all with this beautiful quote I found yesterday I just love:.

What you are is God's gift to you. What you make of yourself is your gift to God..

I love who we all are now and love what we are all becoming....

Happy Sunday, all. Hugs!..

Good Morning!!.

It's just beautiful here in the PNW. And Joanne, there's no snow on the ground! And none in the forecast!!! I see robins.. could it really, really be.. SpRiNg???.

Lisa18~ Love your quote.. isn't that just a perfect thought for this Sunday morning.. we are a gift that we give to God.. how we live our lives and present ourselves. Thank you!.

**It's so good to get to know you.. I have a scottish terrier, Mac.. he's 14 years old. He's snoring right now on the couch.

Joanne~ Morning my lovely.. isn't it just so cool that it seems to be 'clicking' in our little group. Isn't it a true turning point to realize that food is simply fuel and that we do absolutely do have a choice in what we put into our mouths. And these traits extend way beyond food into life choices.. God gave us that 'ole "free will" thing. It's all about choices and goes right along with what Lisa18's quote was this am....

Angelica~ YES.. you are back into it! What a wonderful service you and your group did yesterday.. sounds like you were very productive! And thanks for the offer, I would love to have my fellow angels right here with paint brush in hand.. what fun we would have!.

Jan~ Love that you shared about yourself! There are so many wonderful qualities that you have Jan.. and your life IS getting better and it is a good time in your life! I too am a quilter, when life permits... Love the option of being able to create with fabric, there are NO rules. What are the photo quilts that you've made?.

Still working on the faux beams and faux wall color... boys are heading out today so it'll be a push to get it done! I spilled a pan of paint down the front of me yesterday.. the floor is covered in teal blue paint, my shoes are covered too along with my clothes.. it was a moment of laughter. Went to a b-day dinner for sons girlfriend last night.. took my own food and brownie..

It's always good to get the younger sets approval... we all came home last night bushed. Heading out to the grind of another day. I really would rather go to church.. hoping next week I'll be able to go..

Loves to you!!! Stay OP and drink that water!!!..

LOL!! You gals left me chuckling all the way through the posts....

Lisa18- I got your joke to Jan... and the explanation at the end just made it funnier... I met my DH at work too!.

Angelica- I understand what you're asking about what "clicked" to make this time different for Joanne. I used to ask the same question of friends that seemed to be getting it and sticking with it. It's in you too friend!! There really is no secret click, at least not for me, you just DO IT! Choices, choices, choices my friend... make the decision that you CAN do this and that your only choice is to complete it.... know that most likely doesn't help all the time, but the ability is in you... believe in yourself and your ability to complete this! You can do it!.

Janine- Always nice to get those compliments from the younger crowd... have fun painting with your boys and hope that Spring really is headed your way....

Joanne- Hope you had fun last night with your guests! You are doing so well and I'm glad we're here with you on your journey also....

Jan- Great idea about introducing each other! I'll have to post later today or tomorrow some things about myself.....

Getting ready for church today... had a fun time yesterday with my church in a parade and did my 1st day of Wk 3 in the C25K!! Feels great being able to do this! I'll write later when I have more time..

Lisa...What a wonderful quote and how true it is...thanks for sharing that with us this day..

Love your play on words too...humour is the best way to go in so many circumstances.

Janine...way to go on getting cool with the young ones....

Hope you can cover the teal blue paint on the floor...I am guessing the flooring isn't completed yet...I hope you have a fabulous week and yes I LOVE the way this group has clicked..

Lisa..have a great Sunday and keep smiling...Love to read your posts..in the midst of your sometimes busy life you still find the positive and you take time to help out in this group..

Jan...I hope you are having a wonderfully "preachy" Sunday...(to steal Lisa's word..ha ha) Jan the east coast is beautiful..I have travelled out there about 10 years ago. Also went to PEI and Anne of Green Gables...very nice country...so I hope your "girls day " comes soon!.

So glad that all "preaching" ain't bad since I do it every week. Had great service today, btw, preaching on Lazarus and how Jesus called him back to life and to come out of the tomb and his friends and family "unbind" him and set him free. In many ways, we are helping to unbind each other from our food issues and we are being set free. Okay, enough preaching now Jan... settle down....(takes a few hours to let go sometimes after Sunday morning....) and loved HappyLisa's humor about it all.....

I would treasure your personal sharings but absolutely do it when you have the time to share. If it takes days or a week or two it will be like unwrapping a Christmas present whenever someone shares about themselves..

Angelica, your church does some great service and outreach. Amazing what you are doing for others - altho you do for others every day!! So glad that you are back in the groove and moving on down!! You go!.

Joanne - I think you are right about daily accountability. It really helps me. But I don't post on Sunday mornings because I get up really early (it was 4:30 or so today) and the scale doesn't match the time I normally weigh. I sort of average my Sunday weight when I see where I am on Monday morning. You are such a great cheeleader for us all. I treasure that!!.

Janine, I love jewel tones and teal but maybe not all over the floor. Your story reminded me of the time my Mom (bless her soul) was shaking a can of orange paint when the lid opened and it covered her from chin to the ground. Of course, we just laughed and grabbed our cameras! Hope it all goes well. We want pictures!!.

Lisa, you are so great with c25K. I started, then stopped, haven't gotten started again. As weather is improving, I have to make time to go run/wog in the park. Love that phrase..

Went to son's curling last night. He did really well and was the "skip" last night. That means he was planning the strategy and telling his teammates where to send their 42 pound stones. It was his first time as skip and he seemed to do well. He really likes curling. Who would have thought that we have a growing curling sport in southern California? Just wish we had gotten home before midnite but it's really hard to get ice time.

So maybe a nap this afternoon before back to church to meet with couple I will marry in June. A good day. A beautiful day. An awesome day. Blessings to all!!..

My picture files are too big to get dumped into page. So for now we will see if this works. Tried to attach picture of photo quilt I made. Very simple squares and rectangles with 35 photos used. My first photo quilt was for daughter's college graduation. I think this one was for her best friend when she got married 3 years ago and Melissa and I did together that summer..

I keep yo-yoing ... 197.8 ... didn't drink much water yesterday nor today ... Weekends are very hard for me. But back on my routine tomorrow..

Lisa18, I love your sense of humor and love the quote you shared with us: "What you are is God's gift to you. What you make of yourself is your gift to God". I'd like to ask your permission to use it for a while in my signature ... I need to remind myself of that on a daily basis ... We can help and motivate others, but first we need to help and motivate ourselves. I keep asking God on a daily basis how can I serve him better..

Sometimes I feel as if I were a little bird that fell into a puddle of mud ... and my wings are too heavy with mud and I can't fly anywhere ... I feel stuck. And as I release this weight, I feel as if I'm getting free from what's holding me back from being the best that I can be! We can do this together, Happy Lisa! We'll motivate each other ....

Lisa, you're absolutely right, it's all about choices ... and I'm taking all responsibility for my results..

Janine, I have done that once in my life too ... I was painting my condo in Los Angeles, when I suddenly moved the ladder and forgot that the bucket of paint was opened on the top of it, and it fell all over me ... what a mess ... I didn't think it was funny ... I hated it ... but today I laugh at it ...

It sounds great!.

Joanne, you're shrinking my girl ... you see how true it is when we say that the program only works when we work it!?! You are an inspiration to me today! You'll be out of the house of the 50s in a few days ... woohoo ... you go girlfriend!!!.

Jan, you are doing so great, you are already 10 pounds lighter than I am ... but I promise you I'm still going to catch up with you, my girl!!! But don't you dare slow down for me ... keep on going ....

Elaine, I'm sure you'll be in Onederland this week. Just hang in there ... we are all rooting for you here ....

Kim ( tuthclnr) said she'll try to get back on the site after she recuperates her ID and password she forgot ... LOL she's so funny ....

Karan, you're doing great yourself, my girl, keep it up!!!.

Vilma, where are you!?! We miss you, my friend!.

Waving a hello to all the other girls out there ....

Going to bed now, good night my Angels!!!..

Angelica... of course, you may use it as your signature! It's not mine, I "borrowed" it from a friend who probably borrowed it, too. I think God would want you to share and use it, too. I really love it. I'm happy that it has special meaning to you, to help in your journey..

Janine... we had two scotties when we first got married. They were our children. They both passed away a few years ago. I love scotties and their spirit. Give Mac a big ole hug from me..

Okay, Lisa... you're inspiring me to try the C25K. I've had the app on my iPhone for a year and have never touched it. Maybe we can all meet in a few months and run a 5K somewhere :-).

Jan, curling??? I LOVE it!.

Hugs all... busy week ahead!.

Angelica~ I think that's a great description of how our struggle with weight loss feels... like we're stuck in the mud and until we're rid of all that other stuff, we struggle to fly... I'm going to write that down in my journal..

Lisa18- You can do it!! Start the program... it's only 3 x a week and if you need to you can repeat the weeks as many times as needed..

Joanne- I've been to Canada once... stayed there while visiting Niagara Falls. Went to a nice little town right on the edge of the big lake and could see a large city vaguely across the water... just the tops of sky scrapers. Was it Toronto? Anyway.... very beautiful! Would love to visit again..

Hey.. wonder were Vilma, Elaine and Karen are... HA just read you asking about them Joanne! Looks like I'm not the only one thinking about them..

Well... I'm going to be busy all day today. Will try and get back online again tonight....

I'll join you in your OP day Janine!!.

Hey Girls...how's everyone doing?.

I have encountered something that I haven't really before...HUNGER..to the point of growling tummy. Am wondering if it might be due to my new exercise routine or if it's because I split my L&G..I find I feel better at work if I have some protein earlier in the morning..

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated..

Evening Ladies~.

Joanne~ Me too!! My tummy growls so loud in the morning it's embarrassing.

I do think that it's the added exercise... what time do you eat your meals? This tummy growling just started this week... #1- 10:30-11:30 #2- 1:30 #3- 4:30 .. dinner 7:00 #4 & #5- 8-8:30.. I'll also be interested to hear what the others have to say..

Lisa~ How was your day??.

Angelica~ love your bio.. it's so fun to read. You've done so much and been so many places.

Didn't realize that you are a Hatha Yoga teacher. I've been taking yoga classes and have a hard time with the non-Christian aspect of it.. it's been great exercise and I love it and have continued to do the moves but add my own bible verses as I do it. What do you do?.

Lisa18~ I gave Mac a hug for you... he's quite a character. Poor boy has a haircut tomorrow and won't be very happy with us at all.

Jan~ so fun to see you on facebook... love the before pictures! You look fabulous and so happy at your daughters shower..

Working my fingers to the bone on the shop. Finished off the faux marble walls and the beams are up. Cleaned and scrubbed the floor today and got it painted. Heading out tonight at 10 to finish it off. First thing in the morning I'll stain it and Wednesday put on a coat of finish. Thursday and Friday will be finish work and starting to move the displays and inventory in. Still shooting for a soft opening next Friday...

Born in So Cal.. parents were very artistic and made their living selling their artwork. My mother was my best friend (she died when I was 26, she was 63). I made my living doing art shows. At 27 I went to visit a friend in Leavenworth, WA , I fell in love with the area and bought a log cabin on 5 acres the day I drove into town, intended on it being a summer home but loved the area so much I never left. Met my husband at the age of 32 (had no intention of ever getting married or having children), he swept me off my feet.

Married at 36, had son at 37 and the 2nd one 16 months later. I homeschooled my kids from 3rd grade to college. We traveled 3 months out of the year.. Japan, New Zealand, Germany, England, Switzerland, Mexico, Guatemala, Belize and every darn ski resort on the west coast, over and over again. My kids are the light of my life.

Hate operations, love design. We work hard and play hard.. have a boat "Zuma" that we spend 6 weeks on every summer in the Broughtons. My MIL lives with us, she is 90 YO.. she is a sweetie and I feel very blessed that she is in our lives.

Goals: Learn Spanish and run a triathalon..

Hello my sweet Angels!.

Im OP today. But Im not going to weigh in everyday, cause the water fluctuations is driving me crazy..

My tummy also growls, specially when Im in church..

My eating scheduel varies ... it depends on what time I wake up. But usually, my first Medifast meal is at 9:00 a.m.; #2 at 11:00; #3 at 1:00 p.m.; #4 at 3:00 and #5 at 5:00 p.m. Then I have my Lean and Green at 7:00 p.m. But there are days that Ill have my LG for Breakfast and other days Ill have it for Lunch..

Some other days, Ill start my day at 10:00 a.m., some others at 12:00 noon and some others at 7:00 a.m. I eat every 2 to 3 hours. Any longer than that, Ill starve ....

Janine, I love your Bio. Reading it reminded me that I lost my mother when I was 17 and she was only 44. Diabetic!.

When I lived in NY, I worked for an International School of Languages. A friend of mine openend a Franchizer in Los Angeles and I was called to be the Director of Studies (I trained all the new teachers to use the direct method used by the school). Thats why I speak a few languages..

I do Yoga as an exercise, not a religion. I also became a Christian in 1998 too. Actually I was baptized on November 8th, 1998..

Joanne, did I say that I love you new picture!?! I also get very hungry ... and I get very moody if I dont eat right away. Thats why I eat every 2 hours and drink a gallon of water..

Hey maybe we should have our reunion after we all reach our goal weight in Canada. Id love to visit your country..

Maybe this year you all could come to my house. Id love to have all of you here for a few days or at least a weekend. Shall we plan to meet at the end of this Summer or Fall!?! Or maybe we could all go to vist Janine, before the snow arrives over there. What do you guys say!?!.

Lisa, slow down, my friend. One Janine is enough in our group ... LOL.

Today I went for a walk with my sister and then we tried running/jogging for 1 minute and I almost died ... LOL Im so out of shape ... then we decided to go for a swim and I end up losing one of my contact lens ... urgh ....

I also miss the girls who are missing in action. Wondering where they all are ....

Jan, call me if you need any help posting your pictures and Ill walk you thru the program again..

Going to bed now, good night and sweet dreams!..

Morning Ladies....

Daily Accountability:.

Total OP day yesterday with 160 oz of water and exercise..

Sat 253.6.

Sun 254.8.

Mon 253.6.

Tues 254.4 No rhyme or reason..just fluctuations I guess. But was so hungry last night..

My schedule for M, T, W meal 1-8:00, meal 2- 10:00, Lunch at 11:30 garden salad most times with low fat cheese and or chicken for protein, meal 3- 3:00, dinner around 5-6protein & veg, meal 4-8:00 ish and meal 5 -10:00 ish.

So yesterday I did my exercise at 4 pm. Had dinner 5:30 ish..was extremely hungry by 7(stomach growling etc) had another meal..that helped for a bit but then the same thing until I had my last meal. I am really stumped by this and hope it isn't an ongoing thing. I woke up at 2 am to go to the bathroom and was hungry again..but did go back to sleep. The worst part of this is..there was no "whoosh" instead a .8 up..

UGH.

Will see what today brings...maybe I will add a bit more protein..not sure what else to do..

Have a wonderful day ladies!! Keep smiling!.

Joanne.

Ps will do up intro soon..

Check in: down a smidge of a smidge -.2 to 187.6. I generally always do better Monday through Friday than through the weekend so hope that holds true. I do better getting my water down and staying on track..

Have a great day. (Joanne - sometimes there isn't a reason. it's just ups and downs for us daily weighers....) love ya all!..

Good morning, my girls!!!.

Joanne, are you having 2 meals a day!?! According to your schedule I saw 5/2. There is a little danger splitting the lean and green ... I think Kim (Mom2) used to do that. The danger is that we can always eat a little more than we should..

Look at Janine, she's almost 6 feet tall (5':11") and she sticks to the program no matter what. I'm only 5':5 1/2" and sometimes I think I should only eat 4/1 instead of the 5/1..

You're doing great on the water intake! Actually, I'm afraid you're going to drown yourself ... LOL ... for your weight, I think you should only drink 127 oz of water a day..

I would stay away from the cheese. They are loaded with growth hormones and sodium and that alone will make you retain water weight. That's only my 2 cents on it!.

Jan, good to hear from you, my dear friend!.

Going for a nice walk and try to do the c25k that I couldn't do it yesterday ... I'm so out of shape ....

Have a great OP day everyone!!!..

Is it too late too join this group? I just started Medifast about 4 weeks ago but am still navigating my way through the numerous discussion boards. My weigh-in this week was 155#..

Hi Angelica! I' m game for a little fun competition with myself... Since I really want a challenge, I'll make mine a little aggressive. Don't recommend this to those that are just getting back on track. Make your goals something obtainable that will increase your confidence..

1. Lose 12 lbs. Which would put me at 165.?.

2. Start week 5 of C25K running program by the last week..

3. Read my bible every morning! (Been kinda skipping on that for a while and want to get back into it).

Now... I only planned on beginning wk 4 of the C25K program by the end of the month and since I know my body, will most likely only lose around 10 lbs. this month but figured if I was trying to push myself it would help me stay OP and maybe get a little extra exercise in... maybe I'll reach 1 or 2 of these goals? So far- I've lost 2 lbs.... and I'm a day ahead of schedule for my C25K... If I can skim a day off here or there or get an extra workout in the week...
