My question is Is this a healthy Nutrisystem diet? Hoping for any response. Another question on my mind: Hello Fellers,.

Was on Nutrisystem a few years back, lost some weight and quit..

Now I've come back to the program and have been on it for a little over.

A week and guess I'm looking for some confirmation that I will adjust to this.

Shock. Just been having a number of wierd things going on...I assume while the body is readjusting from my past food glutony..

Guess I'm curious how others felt after they started and what changes they felt. Appreciate the help..

DJ..

You betcha! however you might want to make sure and wait for another commenter to confirm this as I am not sure. Better yet, why don't you call the Nutrisystem guys because they can give you an answer better...

Djhoosier,.

Welcome back and good luck on your quest!.

I think that it's probably a good start for you to elaborate on what.

Wierd things going on.

Really means. I'm assuming that it's biological in nature and that would just be ... natural.

We're pretty thick skinned here so don't hold back. There's always a politically correct ways of describing these things and the clearer you are about the wierdness, the easier it'll be to try and figure out what's going on...

DJ - I really didn't notice anything at all......except the prolific farting all the time. This does not get any better. What are you experiencing? I was never hungry, never had a craving, and I felt as though I was eating all day long. I think you have to be mentally prepared for a life-changing attitude about food portions...and...you can't be a picky eater. Good luck and congrats on starting again. Stick with it...

After I started NS, I have twice been caught choking my chicken in the check out lane of the local supermarket. I can only assume this is due to the omega-3's...

What they said....

I know one of the difficult parts for me to get my mind around was the amount of food that I needed to consume and the schedule of doing it..

You need to ensure to eat all the food and at the right times. This will keep you from getting hungry and also will allow your body to keep an even blood sugar amount (no highs or lows)..

Drinking the water is VERY important. Drink it all and then drink more.

Good luck and welcome back the land of the losers..

Clark..

Djhoosier - are you asking what is "normal?" The answer is: "Normal is the opposite of abnormal." Clears it up for me. (Don't you just love those kinds of definitions?).

Good for you that you are back, posting, looking for support, searching for answers, and even feeling a little funny the first week. Sounds normal to me..

On second thought, I think we are all here because we want to be/feel.

Different.

From what.

Was.

Normal in our lives. If you feel different, you are on the right track..

Good luck!..

Welcome back from the dark side. It took me about 3 or 4 days to stop having headaches when I started on the program this time around. I don't recall having headaches at all when I did the program about 20 years ago. I started to see results pretty quickly so I didnt mind the headaches when I had lost 8 pounds in the first week. Stick with the plan, drink all your water, etc etc etc and you'll do great...
