Have you ever looked at McNabb's numbers against the Giants?.
I'm a Pats fan - but even I cannot disregard the best pass-rush in the NFL.. Giants by 7 is my guess - it would be more except Westbrook will make it close.. Wes.. |

As expected that was a pretty sweet game to watch. Unfortunately for phillie fans (and my FFL), westbrook was held in check very well. Oh.. and Brandon Jacobs is a $%&@'ing truck...

It was a fun game to watch. What should have been a one sided game turned into a nail biter due to turnovers and green zone failures. Why on earth does Jacobs go airborne like that ? He should just rum over those defensive backs who will sooner or later learn to just get out of his way. Nevertheless, I went to bed a happy man (much happier than after PSU lost to freakin Iowa on Saturday)...

I don't think being airborne was his problem on that one. Although I agree he doesn't really need to. But he always holds the ball out too far. And by too far, I mean anything looser than the way Tiki used to carry it like a vise between his shoulder and pec..
Way I see it, you're that big, you run that hard, and you hit people that hard, I'd think you've got to clamp the ball tighter. Notice after that play he started carrying it into his chest with two-arms.. Like you all said though, great game. Great plays and mistakes on both sides.. ... |

I remember that Tiki used to have real problems holding onto the ball until Coughlin taught him ho to properly hold the ball. Suddenly, he became one of the biggest weapons in the league. Maybe Brandon needs that "cover the nose of the ball, point it up, keep it tight to the chest" conversation..
Side note: I watched the local team, the Cardinals, play on Monday night. Regardless of their record, that is not a good team. And if they have to travel north and east for a playoff game, well, let's just say that some of the local courses will have fewer tee times available... |

These two, whenever they go head to head is always fun to watch, especially being division rivals. The last time they played, Giants won 16-13 in a very close game. I have Westbrook on my FFL and I'm cautious about his outcome because of the defense which is so good but he's also a veteran so we'll see..
I'm not sure if I should start Giants D/ST on my fantasy football league or Bears D/ST because they are playing titans.. both defenses have a very bad matchup.. I'm rooting for the Giants though.. I still can't get over their superbowl win over the "OH MY GOD THE BEST TEAM EVER" Patriots... |
