First question I got is Looking for a free Medifast Diet, no free trials? Many thanks for any response. My 2nd question... Went by a sale rack and decided that I'm sticking with losing weight until I'm done, no breaks, because I want to be free to build up a permanent wardrobe instead of pausing at a certain size and then having to get rid of those clothes again when I lose more weight. I want to get to the point where I'm free to buy whatever clothes I like (and can afford) because I know I'll be wearing them for a long time..

What's keeping you going?..

I can relate, ladies. I think I have a range of about 8-10 sizes in my closet and in storage. I would LOVE to get down to my goal and be able to walk into my local Cato store and head to the right side (skinny clothes) instead of the left (women's/plus size). What a feeling that will be...and so many more choices, no matter where I'm shopping..

I just started this journey on Friday, and my first three days have been really good. Have a looooooonnnnnnggggg way to go, but we can ALL do it, right???? Heck yes, we can!!!..

What is keeping me going? Good question. I guess that I like the way I feel and the way I look. I read.

"I can either EAT what I want or WEAR what I want....but I can't do both".

And that.

Really.

Hit home for me. I say that mantra over and over to myself..

I have found a type of top that I really like on me. I like the way it looks on me and the way it makes me FEEL when I wear it. I have bought different versions and colors of the same type...I think I have about a dozen. I love wearing them. I can dress them up or dress them down. I choose to WEAR what I want...

I bought some new pants that will look awesome on me in about 15 pounds! I have them sitting out ready to wear. I am not buying a bunch of new clothes, but a $20 pair of jeans to keep me on track seems ok! Then when I fit ito the new jeans I will buy a smaller size!..

What's keeping me going? I have a whole list of things that keep me going, including better health, increased energy and stamina, a sexier body, self-confidence, WAY better clothing options to choose from, etc., etc. The list goes on!!.

I know what you mean about the clothing thing. I used to have LOTS of sizes in my closet, but as I lose the weight, I am shedding the clothes too (no holding on to anything that's too big!!). I am trying really hard to not buy anything right now unless I absolutely have to...

What keeps me going? The fact that I feel amazing right now... and I am only half way through my weight loss. I cannot imagine how I will feel when I am at my goal!..

I feel wonderful right now, and I like the slimmer me when I look in the mirror. I, also, cleaned out all of the Plus sized clothes in my closet, and will never return to them again. Shopping for my GOAL sized clothes will be a great reward. I so look forward to it!! I'm learning how to treat my body right, and this is a long, overdue change for the better!! All of these things keep me motivated to arrive at GOAL, and go through T&M, too!..

Right now, today, it's all reading all of your posts! I'm having a slow week. I know the reasons and they are real but it's frustrating. This is my 2nd week and it's been slow. Weight in day is tomorrow so we'll see how it goes. I'm really trying to hang in and have a good attitude and hope that next week will be better. Logically, I know I have to lose weight eating this way. UGH! I just want it to be faster!..

Results. Wanting to finish this for once and get this darn monkey off my back (and into the closet where I beat him back with a stick when he offers me cake). This is something I have fought my whole life. I want to win. I want to feel like everyone in a room is not looking at me and thinking "fat chic". I want to wear normal clothes.

My kids and husband keep me going. I want to live and be a good example for them..

Honestly, some days it is hard. The only thing keeping me going then is knowing I can do this for today. Tomorrow is another day. I think for me each week I complete makes the next one easier instead of harder...

What keeps me going?.

I've only lost 11 lbs and I feel better already. By that I mean I have more energy (this is a biggie for me - thyroid and adrenal gland problems). My skin is getting better, my hair is softer, I don't feel bloated and HUGE all the time. I don't want all of this weight on my poor feet anymore. I want my cholesterol medicine to go away!..

Ive been at goal a while, but what keeps me wanting to keep weight off is the big difference in my life. So many things have improved that I just coudn't go back to the way it was. Eight of my friends or relatives have started medifast. Once a week we get together and eat a lean and green together. This helps all of us stay on goal...

Wanting to look good enough in a job interview that they can't say no to my ridiculously high salary request!.

And clothes - oh! the clothes!!!! Little feminine tufts of almost nothing, instead of a tent shirt meant to hide my hideous monstrosity of a body..

To be smoking hot sexy again and smart enough to NOT get pregnant this time! LOL.

To get my doctor off my back about my zillion syndromes and diseases..

Good question! I enjoyed reading everyone's answers...

What has kept me going is knowing I am healthier than I have been in 25 years. Diabetes is not staring me in the face anymore. Having control over this food thing has been the biggest victory I could ever ask for. My adult children have never seen me this small and are amazed at the changes. I pray every day to watch my grandkids grow up and become adults and now I have a better chance. I am almost 6 months OP and will not stop until I reach goal. Thank you God for Medifast!!!!!..

I just started, but what's motivating me is the thought of no more knee pain, lessened back pain, cuter clothes, no more spare tire when I sit down, trying to learn to love myself again, seeing that certain look in my fiance's eyes more often, looking good for our wedding, etc and so forth..

I'll never be super skinny, and I'll never be beautiful, but I want to be the healthiest, best version of ME that I can be. :-)..
