I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I discover an anything. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could assist you..

It is my first day also. I have to tell you I really did not like the oatmeal! I did just eat an Oatmeal Rasin Crunch Bar and it wasn't bad. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to turn the oatmeal into an oatmeal cookie? Perhaps then I could eat it..

Thanks..

Yesterday was my first day too. I did not order any oatmeal since I have never been a cereal or oatmeal eater but I'll bet there is some way to make that into a cookie. I've been overwhelmed with the ideas on these forums. Lots of great suggestions. I've said it on other threads but I was less than thrilled with the taste of most of what I had yesterday. Shake was very chalky and soup was tasteless but I've found some ideas to help (use chicken broth with the chicken based soups for example).

Need to go have a 'meal' right now...

Welcome to MF, Ladies! I hope your first day went well and Day#2 is off to a great start..

MommyB3, I believe there is a recipe for an oatmeal cookie on the side of the oatmeal box. Take a look. I vaguely remember seeing it. If not, there are a lot of Medifast recipes available in the Medifast community..

Have a wonderful day!..

Welcome! You have just made one of the best decisions of your life!. I began my medifast Journey in the beginning of January. This morning I reached my stretch goal of 145 lbs. I was almost 180 when I started. I went from a size 12 to a loose 6 right now. I feel like a brand new person.

Saturday night I did a 3 hour Zumba marathon to raise money for the heart foundation!!!!!.

I am 57 years old, have 4 children and 6 grandchildren and I weigh what I weighed in my 20's! I am 5'7 and 1/2 inches tall. My BMI is healthy, my bodyfat is healthy and I am VERY thankful..

The best advice I can give you at the beginning of your journey is to get your head in the game. Make this all about you and your future and your health. Do not be tricked into thinking that anything else is more important. You can be with family and friends who are eating and drinking whatever they want and still make yourself a part of things without going off of your plan. This is a goal oriented program. You have the tools that work.

It doesnt matter if it's your birthday, Easter and party....that does not effect you! This is your life, your health and you dont let anything or anyone dictate that to you. If you had an illness or an allergy to a certain food you would just say thank you anyway but I am not able to have that........Do it for your longterm well being. I have confidence that you can do it!!!!!!!!!!..

I started on Friday. No headaches yet. I weighed myself this morning just for giggles and I lost 3 pounds. Is that normal? I think it was all water weight, but I will take what I can get... I want to stay in touch with people who start the same time as me. I need to figure out how to friend all you guys so I can stay in touch easily for support...

I am on Day 4 and so far I absolutely LOVE it! I have really liked the food - no problems with that at all. I like that I can mix up the L&G a little so I don't feel like I am eating the same thing every night! I like that I can plan an entire week of meals in a matter of minutes (Saturday morning I took out all my Medifast boxes and 7 large Ziploc baggies lableled Mon, Tue, Wed, etc.,) and put 5 Medifast meals in each bag. Each morning I jsut pull out that days bag - that is the coolest thing ever! SO MUCH EASIER THAN WW!!! No measuring, no counting, no guessing! So easy!.

And you will find awesome recipes on here to keep your L&G vaied - so you don't get bored!.

I was not going to get on the scale - but I did anyway, and after 3 days I am down 6 pounds. Gotta love that!.

Good luck to you!!..

Today is my first day, too! I know I can do this! I am fine with the food so far and am more worried about the lean and green! We eat out a lot and I need to find options that will work with this..

I will definitely need support. I have been a yoyo dieter for years and am at my highest weight ever..

Loving this site already!..
