First of all Medifast Diet - I've lost weight pretty quickly, but my body is not toning...? Thanks in advance for any comment. Another question on my mind: This was by far the hardest weekend I've had since starting Medifast on 12/29..

It started Friday night with having to make a fruit salad for a cubscout banquet. If it's one thing I love, it's fruit salad, I could eat it every day..

Then Saturday I went to a cousin's house I haven't seen in years and had no idea what was for dinner. I get there and it's a full blow Italian course dinner. Starts with appys, mussels, shrimp, crab legs, chips, salsa, mozzarella and tomato drizzled with oil, crackers, veggie tray, cheese. Then went into Pasta Fagiole, after that it was ravioli, with gravy (marina sauce) pork, italian bread, meatballs and sausage. We hadn't even gotten to dinner yet. Next was ham with some kind of glaze, turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, yams, and asparagus.

Sunday was a cubscout banquet with 6 six foot subs. Have I told anyone how much I miss italian bread. Tons of pasta, potato and noodle salad, chips, veggies(carrots) and then an entire table of desserts..

Victory one - Fri night, just toughed it out and didn't even taste the fruit salad I had to make..

Victory two -Saturday appys had a piece of celery and two raw shrimp. Skipped the pasta fagiloe and shot pool in the basement. At ravoli time I had a 1/4 of a piece of pork and half a meatball and cut it up and spread it around to look like there was alot on my plate. Dinner I had turkey and asparagus. I wanted more aspargus, but there's wasn't enough..

Victory Three -.

Sunday I didn't eat one single crumb at the cubscout banquet. I was hungry and had bars most of the weekend, but I survived and I'm pretty friggin proud of myself. Even with people reminding me that I should go eat..

Victory Four - came home and opened a package with some new pants I ordered and they are 4 inches smaller in the waist than my old ones and they fit :-).

Victory Five - went food shopping and found Shiritaki noodles....LOL...Don't know if I'll like them but I really want to try them. I really miss pasta, I am Italian after all..

Victory Six - Took my kid, wife and friends roller skating Friday night and I strapped on a set of roller blades for the first time. (my wife did also) We haven't even been on skates in probably 35 years. It was a lot of fun and I managed to not fall at all, skated for 2 hours and it was actually a workout. So I got my exercise in for the day too.

Thinking about getting my own set of skates now..

It was an awesome weekend that really could have turn into a complete disaster and triggered me back down that ugly road of eating poorly...

You should be really proud of yourself!! I'm pretty sure I would have caved at some point in that weekend!.

I'm sure it was all worth it though just for the pants alone! All the rest is just even more of a bonus!.

Congrats and keep up the good willpower..

Great job! Not only did you stay on plan, but you made great choices for yourself whether you were on Medifast or not. That shows great control in very tough situations. You should be very proud of yourself!..

Your family spread sounds bigger than ours (and I didn't think that was possible). Glad you had success and had a good time also...

Just reading that post made me hungry! I was eating my pudding faster and faster..

You did awesome. I have no idea how you did it, but that is super! A great memory too for when you are in a similar situation again. You can remember how you did this and how great it felt...

Wow...what a great post; a real cliff hanger! At first I thought you were telling us everything that you ate over the weekend and I was thinking...Uh oH! BIG SLIP(s)! Was so glad to ready the rest of the post and see that you were strong and in control. Great job...you showed that YOU are in charge, and not the pasta!.

Congrats!.
