Quick question... Nutrisystem diet plan for 12 year old? Thanks in advance for any response. Second question.. UPS just dropped off my Feb BBB. They sent me a new starters kit, don't ask me why, and it had a new style meal planner and a new resource guide (PamSB is on page #2) and a new Hebron Workout DVD. Hell, I never watched the first one they gave me, that would require getting out of my recliner.

It gives me a place to write down exactly which food I ate, instead of having to write in the margins or in the time column like in the old one. One other difference was a small on the go meal planner for eating out. Cool..

Hey NS, good job, the changes are nice!.

I wonder if I can sell my Hebron collection on Ebay...

Good question... I dunno what is the answer to your question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I got an answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably can answer it..

I also like the new planner, just did not know it was new. I thought they might have a different one for each month. Yea, crazy thought and if they think this body is ready for a DVD workout, they are the crazy ones. Working great as a coaster for my water glass...

We (My wife, daughter and I) just received our first custom order... our first order was the "variety pack". (By the way, what is "BBB"?) We did not receive a number of items as per our order so we gave Nutrisystem Customer Service a call. I thought we were going to have to package everything up, go to a courier company, etc. etc. etc.

We were very pleasantly surprised! She indicated that no returns were necessary (Probably cost more for them to ship back then to simply have us keep them.), she explained how some items were on back order and allowed us to find a substitution of our choice and of course explained the issue with the peanut scare. Again we were very well taken care of! Thanks and kudos to Nutrisystem for their customer focus...

Yeah, if you receive substitutions for what you ordered Nutrisystem will replace those substitutions free of charge, often times with what you originally ordered (a few days is generally plenty of time for stuff to come back in stock for them). Personally, I don't normally bother to call/email if I get a substitution unless it's one of the few things I find completely disgusting..

However, if you order something and find out you don't like it, you can have Nutrisystem ship you a replacement for the additional items you may have, but you have to return those items first on your dime...

Today is the first day that I have logged with the new planner and now I understand what was asked earlier..

Lunch in the old planner had a Nutrisystem Lunch Entree, a Salad serving and a FF Dressing serving. In the new planner for men the lunch section has a place for a Nutrisystem Lunch Entree and 2 Vegetable servings w/ff dressing included. There is NO "Salad Servings" category in the "Grocery Guide". All components that used to be in the Salad column are now incorporated in an extremely large "Vegetable Servings" section..

Here's what I mean...

Damon - if you've been eating peanut butter you're going to have to give up some of the 100+ pounds you've lost - because if it isn't on the plan - eating it will keep you from losing - sorry!.

I thinks this shows how Nutrisystem adjusts to reality - I've put whatever's available on my salads - almost always adding in at least a serving of cauliflower or broccoli (or both). Vegetables are a real blessing and make a big difference in your immune system. Has anyone noticed how you no longer catch the colds that are all around you?..

Peanut Butter is still an option on the "My Program" page at NS.com..

Don't know if I like the sound of no PB. Did you call the counseling number to get the blessing?.

If you find anything out please post...

Are 10 peanuts still an option? If they are, then I'm keeping my peanut butter. I only get the peanuts plus salt variety anyway...

Thanks Damon, however next time put something behind the page so the printing on the back dosen't bleed thru. It even came up on the copy I printed for reference..

And have you considered a singing career? Well don't!..

I see the caveat "Out of shell" for the peanuts. That means they're concerned about the added salt, plus all the other stuff that most off-the-shelf peanut butters add. Did you know JIF adds molasses to their peanut butter?.

So technically if I buy the freshly ground peanut butter at the store, no salt added, there's no problem with keeping peanut butter. And if I can live with the added sodium, I can keep my brand of Kirkland Nothing Else Added peanut butter..

You may have noticed that I eat my peanut butter with a fork to defend it from poachers...

Speaking of new Meal Planners, well at least I think we were. I have been experiencing light headedness as well as additional dizziness recently. I got online with a counselor, but she referred me to a Nutritional Specialist. I had to call and leave a number for a call back. They called me back within an hour, so I was happy about that..

She thinks I need to add more calories and she is going to send me out a new daily meal plan with ideas to increase my calories by email. She wants to bump my calories up from 1800 per day to 2000 or so..

I don't know why she thinks I'm currently at 1800, because when I log my food every day, it equates to 1500 or less and I log everything I eat. Anyway, I'm curious what kind of ideas she is going to have to increase my calories..

You have more than 100 lbs to lose, therefore you need to add an extra carb at Breakfast, an extra fruit at lunch and another extra carb at Dinner. I you do that it will bring you to 1800 from the basic plan's 1500. And since your counselor was probably under the impression that you were all ready doing that like you were suppose to be doing all along. They told you to up it some more..

If I were you I'd try the 1800 plan for a while before you go to the 2000 plan. Remember, small moves make a big difference...
