Hi! This is day 4 for me and also WI because it's Monday. I'm down 4.5 which is dance-worthy! Totally psyched for Medifast after being (as have all of you, I'm sure) on every other weight-loss product known to modern man. I'm sure, 100% positive that this is it and my family is totally behind me. Husband and 12 yr old daughter even though husband wanted to make cookies last night. I said I'm not going to restrict you from ever making cookies, but can you please cut me some slack this week? Yesterday was a hungry day for me, but today feels much better. Actually only half of yesterday was hungry.

I should have eaten the newsprint. Can't have been too many carbs, right? All fibre. Would have worked better than smooth move tea!!.

Ya'll have made great strides and the deletions of weight have been awesome! Anything gone is gone forever as far as I'm concerned. We can do it if we support each other. I'm happy to be here. If I can help, please contact me. I'll take all the help and advice I can get. Thanks..

Happy Valentines Day Everyone!!.

I gave myself a V-day gift of my own this year. Week #2 weigh in this morning, and I am down 9 lbs this week!! That gives me a 2 week total of 26 lbs gone!! Woohoo-Doing the Happy Dance in my Jammies!!!!.

I took the day off work today to pamper myself through my first V-Day in 9 years without being with my husband. Even though I initiated our separation, it is still very difficult and today I decided to give myself some ME time and de-stress..

The real success I have to announce today is that last night when I had a good cry and would have normally run for some fattening, bad for my health food-I had a Medifast brownie and congratulated myself on my perseverance instead!! That is a HUGE step for me!.

We can do this together and I look forward to reading all of your posts!.

My first goal was 25 lbs and I achieved that today, so I am going to go buy myself a pair of sexy new sunglasses and show off my thinner bod while I enjoy the 70 plus degree weather we expect today..

Love yourself first today-then you can truly love another!!.

I'm just starting today. I think from what I've read it's important to get your L&G every day. I plan to cook up entire packages of chicken breasts and pork chops, etc and have them on hand so I don't have to necessarily cook every day. I do that a lot anyway as I have teenage boys who are always hungry! Just buy a family pack, season them a little and throw them in the oven for about 30 mins. Just a suggestion! Good luck! You did great yesterday! I'm starting up a few pounds because of all the junk I ate the past couple of days!..

Wow mamaceli, 28 #'s in 6 weeks! Amazing!!! I hope to be as strong as you are and rock this thing out of the park!.

I was ultra strong yesterday... Drive thru's are my biggest weakness. Such a bad habit. I can fork down a combo meal like no other. Before I arrive to wherever I'm going, I have stuffed a bunch of unnutritious calories & fat down, and not even enjoyed the meal..

Every Tuesday I pick up a box of organic veggies at a local farm as part of a CSA program (community supported agriculture) - which, by the way, I fully recommend. PM me if you're interested in finding one near you, you'd be surprised how many there are..

Anyways, in the past, I'd gone to pick up my produce, and then hit a drive thru on the way back to work. A typical meal for me was Carl's Jr. Charbroiled Chicken Club sandwich with fried zuchini and a sprite (20 oz). That meal contains: 1190 calories (530 from fat), 59 gms fat (12 sat fat), 105mg chol, 2280mg sodium, 128g carbs, 5g fiber, 62g sugar & 42g protein. That's more calories/carbs/chol/fat/soduim/sugar than I eat now in a whole day! And that was just ONE MEAL! No wonder I'm twice the size I should be!.

This is such an eye opening experience for me. I never said I had a "sweet tooth" because I don't like chocolate, cake, candy, etc. I can totally live without it. But I have a fast-food addiction. I love fried and salty foods. What I didn't realize is how much SUGAR is contained in that type of food.

I am breaking this cycle forever - one packet at a time!.

Here's to learning something new today.....

Hey Ladies! I started my journey on January 11th. Im down around 28 lbs. This is my mission! The best advice I can give is to just keep your mind in check. I did this before 2 years ago. I ended up stopping the program after only 2 months. I was so happy, felt amazing, lost a ton of weight, was started to show the weight loss and then it happened.

I broke the plan ONE TIME....and then it just seemed impossible to get back on and stay on. I would start again, and then stop...start and stop until I just stopped starting again. Very dissapointing to say the least. So this time I am battling myself. If youve ever heard the expression "your your own worst enemy" that is me.

I am going to watch for the warning signs and kick my own butt...lol..

Hi. I started on Feb. 2. I lost 9 pounds my first week, and nothing since. I am trying very hard to not let it side track me. I keep hearing about uping water, lowering water, watching condiments, artificial sweetners etc.

1 "to go" packet equals 2 condiments. Anyway, I am sticking to it...determined to have something work. I am having a hard time eating as much protein in the lean and green every eve. I have a hard time with meat anyway so I am going to try some meatless options. Anyway, I would love any advice or help anyone could give me...

The funny thing is that the scale is tricky, I jumped on and it was -1lb and then I moved the scale so I could see it better and it was more of -3.5lb loss. I decided to air on the side of caution because if the weight comes off, then next week I should see the scale move. I like seeing the scale move down no matter what...

Hi Ladies,.

I started on January 10th and have only been a lurker on this board until now. I've lost 33 pounds so far. Last week only lost 3 pounds and was a little down on myself (the other 6 weeks averaged 5 pounds a week). I really have no-one to blame for that because I did a lot of "creative" eating last week (i.e. not quite OP)..

I try to remain positive but it's difficult some days because I know how long I'll have to do this (and asides from the bars, do not really like any of the food), and even after how I'll never again really be able to have some of those foods I so love..

I figured it can only help me to get some more support with those who are in my boat (i.e. will be here for a while since we have so much to lose)..

You all are doing so great, and all your posts made me feel a lot better and I just wanted to come out of lurking to say so :-)..

Good Morning! Well, today is day 10 on the plan, and as of this morning, I have lost 13lbs. I have always been a big girl, but about 3 years ago, my thyroid went haywire and I gained 100lbs! After going on thyroid meds, I dropped 50lbs rather quickly, however, hormonal issues and diabetes have made this weight loss journey very difficult. I am giving medifast a try. So far, I love it! I see the numbers on the scale moving in the right direction, but I haven't noticed in my clothes yet. My family is very supportive but it's nice to talk with others who are on the same journey as me! Have a great weight loss day!!!.

You all have had some great results..

This is my second time around as well. I was on it about 6 years ago and lost 50 lbs. I kept it off until about 2 years ago, when my son got UC. Over the next several months we spent weeks at a time at the hospital and I would eat fast food in the car between work and the hospital. Then my son had complications from the UC, so it just never got easier to eat well. About a year ago things got so bad with my sons health I stepped down from my supervisor role at work, thinking it would help.

Eating on the run was just normal. Now that my son has improved (he will always have some issues) I caught the whole family eating poorly. This is as bad for my son as for me. I had gained over 100 lbs. over the last few years.

I figured if I was different to that person, I was different to my husband, son and co workers as well. So I started the diet a week ago, and accepted the offer to take my old job back. I feel so much better, have so much more energy, and actually want to exercise (just walking at this point). I am starting to feel like me again...

Hello, I started the last week of January, then had to restart Mid-February (Family emergency makes staying on plan very difficult). But I count January as my start, so far I'm down 39 pounds. I'm so happy I got pack on plan, since starting I've already had to go out and buy more clothes...

I sarted Feb 7th (I waited until after my first cruise). This is my first time and so far I've lost 21 lbs. I've done Adkins, Weight Watchers, and just trying to eat sensible, and this is the first time I know I will make it. This program is so easy, I can't believe it. I have the added support of my husband and mom being OP as well. I am truly blessed...

Hi Everyone,.

Week 6 for me -down 3 for a total of 38lbs gone!.

Bought a treadmill waiting for it to arrive-as my knee cannot take the cement on the sidewalk-so once it gets here I should get back to 5 or more per week!!..

Hi Everyone,.

I am having computer issues and very busy at work so I have not been able to be here as much as I would like. Looks like we have lots of people working the plan!!!.

I just finished week 7 on Monday the 21st and am down to 315, so that is 41 pounds gone!!! I am going hit that 50 lbs gone really soon!! My new treadmill is being delivered tomorrow-so that should help in getting me there faster!! Feeling GREAT! Thanks MF!!..
