The last few months I tried to motivate myself with a bit of poetry. Looking at the scale this morningwell, it didn't work..

Guess I should stick with the prose..

I begin each day with good intentions. The first four meals are easy to do, and spaced pretty well. Of late, it is the evening that defeats me. Last night I resorted to ironing just to keep myself away from food! It worked, I guess....I only ate what I was supposed to and stayed OP for the first time in a week. My slacks are ironed for the next seven days! Guess when I get hungry again I can iron my shirts/dresses..

Today I begin again..

One meal, one bottle of water, one day at a time..

My friends, I hope you are well and OP through life's challenges. I am thinking of each of you as I write this..

This journey is halved because of the support we give one anotherregarding MF, how we deal with our stresses, how we feel about ourselves..

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I bump into an good answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could answer your Medifast question..

Just wanted to stop by and say hello, and to thank you all for your kind wishes, thoughts, and prayers for my brother. He continues to get better, and we are all thrilled beyond belief with how his recovery is progressing. I am still angry and will always be angry over this attack, but I am trying hard not to let it derail me. I have been taking my anger out through exercise, particularly on a punching bag at the gym. Poor punching bag!.

Despite this horrific event, I have managed to stay on my plan. Scale now shows.

- in 10 pounds I will be under 200 pounds. I won't let those thugs take this from me. Besides, I want to be healthy enough to chase them down and bring them to justice!.

I'm still struggling with staying on plan!.

I had surgery on my left foot yesterday (bunion and hammer toe fixed). I was sent home with good meds, so I'm doing well so far with minimal pain..

I just have a bandage, sock, and surgical shoe (awkward). I could drive today, except... my car is a standard! So I'll either not drive or rent an automatic. I do have to drive to my podiatrist appointment on Monday which is about 20 minutes away..

So I've done pretty well food-wise since Thursday. I didn't want to feel bloated and nauseous from junk food for the surgery. Now if I can just STICK TO IT!..

Hey guys,.

It's been a while since I have been on posting....the kids got out of school on May 21st and we haven't been still since. Went to the beach the day they got out of school and actually lost a few pounds....first time ever that I have not let being on vacation being an excuse to eat and gaining weight....it felt really good...and in the end I didn't feel like I missed out on anything....it was hard though...

, glad you are here, and happy that your surgery is over. I am not sure what a bunion is but I will look it up. My DD has a hammertoe. LOL She refused to wear sandals her teenaged years because she thought her feet were ugly! Her dad and I didn't think they were ugly..

Thank you for linking the two threads!.

If anything, feet are my temperature gauge....when mine are cold it signals my brain that my entire body is cold.Same deal for hot. I have learned as a diabetic that I must take extreme caution/care of my feet. I know that many of you are not diabetic, and hope that you never will be.....to all.

Out there though...pay attention to your feet! It is how I found out I was diabetic in the first place....my feet were tingling and bothering me. That was in 1995, and I still pay attention to my feet!.

Struggled a bit yesterday. I took sufficient food with me for the ball tournament (DH was playing), but failed to bring the proper lean and green. I ended up eating way to late and much to much protein. My carbs should be okay, but nothing else..

I also found myself dropping off to sleep rather easilydon't know if that is from insufficient sleep or just reading essays that do not hold my attention! LOL.

It is getting late (0623) and I have some other online classes I need to take care of before deadlines overtake me. Learning is never OVER..

Two weeks of school left.

Hello everyone!.

I did not know there was a new thread for every month, I kept going back to my post (as a link) to see additional posts, but there were none....after being away for a year I kind of forgotten how to navigate the boards LOL! I stumbled across the link to June's thread PHEW!!.

Thanks UK and Sony for the welcomes and advice. I've been trying to drink more water lately, but it's so hard to kick the soda habit. I know the more water I drink, the more I will crave it and only want water...it's just hard to get that initial umph to stick with it, but I know I HAVE to, so I know I will..

Hinita, I hope your brother's recovery continues to improve. What an awful thing to go through for both him and your family! My brother is a police officer, and I'm always worried about something like that happening to him. Stay strong!.

The estimated day of delivery of my food is this Tuesday. I don't know what time of day it will arrive, so I haven't decided if I will start Tues or Wed, I'm thinking I'll start Wed and make Tues a "last hoorah" day..

Ugh, I have been having terrible nightmares since my brother's attack. I wake up sweaty and in a panic. I hope this stops soon and I can go back to at least not remembering my dreams. ! As a teacher, many of us have to take classes to recertify. Sometimes the learning is something I wantand at others it's more like what I HAVE to take (just like my students!) My DH wishes I would iron for him, LOL, but I iron for myself only. I even made my boys iron their own clothes. Of course, if I had my own way, I wouldn't iron at all..

DH says he won't be seen in public with me though if I don't so......

Today was pretty much OP. I did have a Medifast snack (crackers and LC cheese), and a bit of SF jello to tide me over a hump, but feel pretty good about the day..

I made DH fried potatoes and a pork chopmyself the same meat and fried radishes. That was a lot of work for very little reward. Like I heard on the boards, it tasted wonderfully well BUT there wasn't a lot of it. Don't necessarily recommend that one....lol.

Sorry for being absent. Too much going on. All good, just busy life stuff..

My daughter turns 3 on Friday!!!.

Oh boy..

We're having a tea party on Saturday just with two of her little friends..

She is obsessed with Alice in Wonderland lately and so I've spent hours (literally) being Alice....

At least she likes to eat pretend biscuits!.

I am on Day One again tomorrow. 5 and 1..

Made it through another day OPsort of. My snack was SF jello. I am sitting here thinking about food and struggling to NOT eat anything else. Easiest fix is getting on the computer here with all of you rather than going upstairs to iron. LOL Only problem is that you are out and about for the day and I will not hear back from any of you until tomorrow morning. sigh.

I shall do my best to occupy myself as best I can.....

My Medifast box finally showed up! Yeah! New bars and a cookbook to peruse with LG suggestions. I do not have access to the shitaki noodles, but hope to be able to try some of the other suggestions soon. Of course, I have also read that many do not like the taste of those noodles and I would have to include DH in eating them as I do not want to waste what looks like quite a large meal..

Question: Is anyone else having inordinate amount of hair falling out? I have switched to Nioxin products to try and save some of my hair (recommended by my hairdresser), but can't find biotin to take which has also been suggested on another thread. Someone mentioned that upping healthy fats may also help. Just curious if anyone else is having a problem with hair loss....I may have to look at this as a chance for me to rival V'ger from Star Trek the movie for skinny/slim bod and no hair! LOL Of course, I have to get the slim bod before I can even try..

Hello everyone!.

Yes, UK, my food just arrived today, but it's too late in the day to start...I've already eaten regular food. My DH wants to start Monday, but I'm wanting to start tomorrow. I'll probably go for Monday because I have an upcoming (temporary) layoff at work which should happen this week and it's easier for me to stick with Medifast at home than at work. Lots of peeps bring snacks & food and it's hard to stay OP with all that around. So, if I'm at home when I start, I can get over that first week with staying OP. Either way, I will be stating Day 1 very soon, and I'm real excited to get started!!.

Hinata, I've always heard meditating can help relax and relieve stress which might help with your nightmares. I'm not quite sure how to meditate, I try, but always fall asleep before I actually know if it worked LOL!.

Hello everyone,.

My food arrived last night and today is day one. I'm 277 2'5. I am tried of wanting to do things and just not having the energy, or being afraid that the chair will have arms(horror!). I am married with 3 grown children. 1 darling granddaughter and 5 fur babies(3 dogs, 2 cats)..

I manage a team of 9 at work and feel that my weight impedes my advancement. Most of all I want to lose this weight for me, I want to enjoy everything. Flying, kayaking, walking, swimming, the gym. I used to joke that the only way there is an athlete in me is if they wondered too close to the couch and I ate em.....

I don't want to be an athlete, just enjoy activities with my family and friends..

UK thanks...yes it's been a few months for me on these threads and thought of giving myself a life....honestly my workouts are stinking....

With the 2 boys off prek for summerbreak they sure do keep me handsfull....i'm an active member on another thread in the clubhouse and we girls out there are trying to start Jillian Michaels 30 day shred from this coming monday onwards.....so am so excited to see how that one goes, but before that have to go buy that DVD from walmart/target wherever they sell.....

My lil boy is going to turn 4 this August, oh how the days run sooo fast.....

Hi everyone!.

Ok...today was day 1.

I had planned on starting Monday with my hubby, but after he stepped on the scale and ended up weighing 25 pounds less than I do, I decided today was the day for me to start...think I can get 25 pounds off by Monday? HA! Last year he had a consistent 10 pound lead on me, I could not catch up...now he has a 25 pound lead....blah....can ya tell I'm competitive?.

Anyway, today went pretty well. I was rather hungry all day, but I stayed OP, and got through the day. Except for the water that is...I have my remaining water next to me and I am planning on getting it all down before I sign off and go to bed. Overall it was a good day..

My DH has discovered Facebook. Sigh. It is now a battle to get online and visit this website as we fuss over who can be on the computer. If I am on it, he feels neglected and wants to know why I don't want to spend time with him. When I set the computer aside, he will pick it up to just "check a few things" and we end up fussing at each other. :/ Any-way....sigh....



One week of school to go then summer school begins. No rest for the weary....Just FYI, lack of sleep can affect weight loss. I am gaining again, sleeping less, only 3 liters of water per day rather than the four....it all makes a difference. My scale broke completely (food scale) so measuring the lean is hit and miss. Once school is "over" perhaps I will be able to take a minute and find another scale! Ah well....

Hope everyone is doing well! It has been another busy week for me - I cannot tell you how much I am looking forward to the weekend! TOM is upon me and I am up a pound, d'oh! I am having lots of water retention though (my rings don't fit!) so I expect the pound is just excess water and will go away soon enough. I am on my plan and not straying from it, so I know it is not fat gain..

My brother continues to get better, which is a miracle indeed. He is having his second surgery next week - this will repair his crushed sinuses. The doctor says everything is looking good, better than he first anticipated, and expects the procedure to go well. I'll keep you posted on how he is doing. Thanks again for your continued well wishes and good thoughts - it means the world to me..

: Thanks for asking about the nightmares! They seem to be subsiding for now - haven't had one for the past few days and I am hoping that maybe my mind is more at ease now and not so upset. I still do want those felons behind bars - I don't think anyone is safe with people like that on the street. I won't stop trying to get justice for my brother - not now, not ever. I am a pretty feisty woman when pushed! Hope you can get a new food scale soon, and do take a couple of days to rest and relax and get your sleeping back in order. One week to go to summer vacation! Yahoo! I am ready for a change of pace to say the least..

Of the pounds I had lost. This has got to STOP! I cannot face putting on another pound! I am praying for the determination to take it all back off....in as short an amount of time as possible..

Please forgive my not putting in individual shout outs this AM. It was another night when I did not sleep well and I face a four-hour drive to and from London in an hour. My mind is not what it should be. I need to pack my Medifast food so that I am ready for any long delays on the motorway between here and the airport where I will be dropping off a dear friend and her family. I shall miss them. It is one of the prices I pay, losing friends each and every year, to have such an awesome job teaching and supporting our military.......

Today is going to be a beautiful day!.

I am going to rediscover the determination inside of me for a THINNER me. LOL.

, hope and wish everyone a fabulous OP weekend.

Today is indeed a fabulous day for me, weighed in the morning and have lost 3 pound for the week & a total of 30 pounds which leads to half way mark from my goal!!!.

I know it has been a difficult journey so far.....going thru the surgery incident followed by going offplan for a few weeks....believe me folks when I had to go to emergency & surgery back in April I made up my mind that this is it, i'm going to go offplan and will have no more motivation whatsoever to start all of it again from scratch! was just too much in pain...but guess I was wrong!!! I'm still trucking along slowly & will make it a point to reach the goal, I have no other choice or option left but to do it!!! I know I won't be perfect every single day but will not lose hope and see to it that I hit 130!!! ...thank you all for being such motivators and such good friends.

UK, I love your new avi, and am sooo sorry for what you r going thru....i bet those additonal 20 pounds most of it is water weight, you did awesome so far just don't lose hope......

I've been sooo sick with awful cold/cough since past couple of days and it had gotten worse today! I'll come back later and go back thru the posts...take care my friends.....

I made it perfectly OP yesterday even traveling to the airport and being on the road from seven AM until after noon....sigh. Then I worked lateagain, staying OP when all I wanted to do was eatcame home after ten at night and thought...just a bite or two more of protein. That didn't work! I know better, and still ended up eating more than I should have! No more going to the kitchen in the evening!.

Hey everybody! I apologize for my absence. I had food poisoning for awhile and kind of lost touch with the boards. I also post in another group..

Things are going better. I had an off plan weekend when it was my first TOM. Talk about an epic fail. And it was two days after I got back on track with Medifast that I ended up with food poisoning from some mushrooms that I had apparently let sit too long. The food poisoning symptoms lasted almost 2 weeks! Crazy times. But I have been back on track about a week and I'm happy to report that despite the setbacks, I've lost 20 pounds since joining MF!.

Going to head in early for work today to get a jumpstart on all the work I have to finish. There is always so much to do, and while I much prefer to be busy than have nothing to do, it feels a bit overwhelming. Like bailing water from a boat and you cannot bail fast enough! I am hoping that putting in some extra hours this week will help me get ahead of the game. Wish me luck! Still no movement on the scale which is disappointing. *sigh* I am getting really tired of this to be honest..

Well, DH is home and I am doing my best to be good. LOL I have one Medifast meal left for around 2030 or so. I can't make up my mind if I want to do sweet or savorybrownies sound good, don't they?.

It wasn't as bad today as I thought it would be. Still have some issues with students bringing in food, but I just remember that beautiful dress I can no longer wear and it helps. I really want to be able to wear it again soon..

, my friend, I know all about struggling. This has been a very tough month for me. I have watched the scale go up and up! I am so disappointed in myselfI know it is my own fault. Unlike you, I have not been able to stay 100% OP. Nor have I kept up with my walking. I have essentially made sure that I will gain weight.....sabotaging my own results..

There are so many factors to take into consideration. Have you varied your caloric intake? Sometimes shaking up the metabolism, I hear, can shake the scale loose. Are you getting enough sleep at night? How much water are you drinking? What did your dr say when you shared with him? (You don't have to answer any of these, just trying to "think" with you about what might be wrong.).

Good afternoon flirts....here hoping for a great OP week for everyone.

So i've started Jillian's 30 day shred today morning. wow....she sure kicks in the butt....honestly I couldn't put up with her 20 min continuous workout without resting, it was too much for me for a beginner...to top it off I have this worst cold/cough ever....but still I manged to catch up whatever I could, guess if I continue doing this everyday i'll get accustomed to it after day 3 or day 4..

Carolyn, nice to see you and glad that you r starting back, congratulation on the 20lb loss! sorry to hear about your mushroom poisoning....

Hinata, goodluck with your busy work schedule, I know it's very frustrating when you hit a stall but hang in there you r doing so great so far, almost 8 pounds to enter into 100's just stick with it no matter what you can do it....

UK, I know it's very difficult, I keep slipping on & off quite a few times but still start it all right back, for me this program is so easy ones you follow it exactly as is, I have had my turn of rough times too, we all do, but lets not lose hope and fall in vain, we can restart and restart it again and again till we see that goal.

I know I came here with a motto & am going to finish it ones and for all no matter how long it takes....

Good morning everyone.

Did the 30 day shred yesterday and I can barely walk today morning.

, LOL......just so sore all over the body and inflammated muscles, scale shows up 2 pounds.

See thats the reason I was always afraid to start any type of workout in the first place! but you know what i'll not let this temporary gain stop me but will continue for atleast one week before coming to any conclusion!!! maybe it's just that initial water gain that you get with any workout and maybe it soon will pass!!! Just thought to share my experience with you all....

Good morning..

Thinking about where I have been going of late.....getting a handle on WHY I eat / go off plan / fail to reach my goals.....I don't think I have a single reason. It's more of a reason at the moment?.

When I don't eat, it is usually because I am so busy or so focused on something else I just don't think about it. There are other times when eating is ALL I think about! For me, being able to talk to someone else about it really helps. I haven't been able to do that for a while..

There are people I consider friends here at MF, don't get me wrong. With the time differences though, it is difficult to connect in a meaningful way. This isn't a blame game, or anything like thatI am responsible for my own behavior..

When I was being successful on MF, it was due to practically being glued to the computer and chatting with anyone / every thread just to keep my hands and mind busy. I have slacked off and the pounds have been adding up. I miss having someone I can call and ask to take a walk with me right here in the UK though....haven't had one of those friends in a while..

I am so tired,.

Good morning Flirts!.

Hope everyone is doing well and managing to stay on their plans! I am in the middle of mixing up my exercise program to see if that helps get the weight moving off faster - maybe if I alternate intensity and type of activity, that will help some. Wish me luck - I'd really like to get on a consistent weight loss roll again. Other than that, I am doing ok. My brother is getting better - he just had his second surgery and everything went very well. He has to have one more 6 months from now, but things are progressing nicely which is such a relief..

Uk, (((((HUGS)))))......oh poor thing, I can totally understand and feel what you r going thru....definitely it's the time difference thats spacing us apart from connecting & chatting more often....for me, i'm almost online during *MY* daytime and thats almost night/latenight for u.....

I totally agree with you in regards to having a walking buddy, I can feel that more often, I always felt that if I had a friend somewhere around me whom I can have a nice walk outdoors with with just a phone call away, but most of my friends are either busy working or stay at home moms that always have something going on, but they do join me couple times a week which is awesome....i tried doing that on my own since weather is beautiful , walking alone with my ipod but thats not encouraging enough....

I understand how physically and spiritually attached you r with your students by the way you kept mentioning abt them in the past.....it hurts when you have to say goodbye to them and may not see them again.....i had the same kind of experience couple weeks ago when it was last day of my kiddos school.....both my 3yo & 5yo's teachers hugged them, kissed them goodbye and I could see tears in their eyes, especially my 3yo's teacher she literally cried cuz my lil one is her favorite student!!! At that very moment I felt a pinch in my heart and I couldn't stop tears either!!! Hang in there u'll soon get thru this and again isn't it wonderful that you get to meet new students in the next academic year!!!..

Hope everyone is doing well, and managing to stay on their plans! Wow this week has been extra busy - taking on more responsibility at work has eaten up all my free minutes. It is a good challenge though, and I am working my butt off to adapt and be successful. I am sure that once I get the hang of doing everything, things will go more smoothly..

My job got me thinking about this diet, and weight loss in general. I am always so hard on myself for what I perceive as my personal failures, but with my team, I approach everything as a learning experience..

People are not motivated by being berated and chastised - they are motivated, especially when they make a mistake, by support and positive correction; by validation and treating every misstep as an opportunity to learn something. Taking this approach with my workers yields huge pay offs in expanding their skill set while boosting their self-esteem and morale. I wonder how many of us in this group are awesome at taking this approach with others, but not with ourselves when it comes to this diet..

Perhaps if we looked at our food/weight loss issues with more compassion and as an opportunity to grow and learn, it would help our morale, and re-energize us on a daily basis. At the very least, it would make the journey a little easier. Many of us have heard the old saying "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" but what if we reversed this? Instead we "Do unto ourselves as we would do unto others"? What if we showed ourselves the same compassion and positivity that we extend to other people on a regular basis? I doubt any of us would be as harsh on anyone else who was having difficulties or had a slip - so why do we beat ourselves up? Anyway, just some rambling thoughts....

I was finally able to wear my favorite jeans again yesterday. Whew! I was worried when the 8s weren't fitting and I had to go back to wear the 10s..

That sounds so funny, still, when.

I wore a size 20 just last October.

(And those pants had elastic in the waistband, these jeans do not) Don't get me wrong, I am still not all that I want to be. I have 18 pounds to take back offgoing over the same ground I have seen beforebut like Hinata reminds us, I need to support myself in the same manner I would support others..

It is almost 7 and time for my first Medifast meal. I try not to eat it to early because the evening becomes too hard when I do that. Yesterday found me eating a large taco salad with tomatoes, black olives, iceburg lettuce, and ground beef for my lean and green. I also had SF jello and a properly portioned soy crisp snack as my evening went overlong. It is getting easier, though still not perfect..

I hear about these lovely shake ideas made with diet soda, pudding, and a splash of SF syrups like caramel.....but it is STILL TOO COLD in the UK to even think about ice cream! LOL Maybe by mid July I will be able to try one of the recipes..

For now, I believe I will stick to my oatmeal. At least it keeps me warm!.

Good afternoon Flirts!.

Holy moly did I sleep in today! Slept until 11:25 am. I must have been dead tired from yesterday. I went to Point Reyes National Seashore for some sun and exercise. Talk about gorgeous - I have missed the ocean so much. I walked for almost 2 hours without realizing it - just wandered up and down the beach looking for shells and playing in the tidepools. I went early enough that I was the only one there too, so I had an entire beach all to myself!.

Hope you all are having a peaceful and relaxing weekend and managing to stay on your plans! I am pressing on - now at 206. I'll let you know how the mixing up calories and exercise goes this week. Hopefully in 2 weeks I can be under 200..

UK, good job on the 8's, and glad to know that finally your slowly getting back in to the loop...I'm doing Jillian's 30 day shred, whoa...she kicks the butt like it's nobody's business but it's a challenging 20 mins.....i was unable to put up with that everyday so i'm alternating it....and don't even ask abt the scale, it actually went up, today morning 3 lbs gain at 166!.

I'm glad I took the weekend to relax - I needed that so badly. I didn't realize how stressed I was until I just let myself unwind. I'm going to try and avoid as much stress this week as possible. I am going to try and remain calm and focused and not let things get to me so much. In the grand scheme of my life, fixing my health is the most important priority I have, and I shouldn't let anything undermine that. I have never been good at managing stress without food, so this is a real learning experience for me.

Hi Flirts.

(shy, coy smile there! HA!).

So when I logged in today it told me the last time I logged in was 3 months ago almost to the day! WOW! Where did all that time go? Oh, I know, it went on holiday with my logical reasoning leaving me with only justifications and denial! So here I am, having gained 20 LBS of my original 30lbs loss back and wondering why my cute jeans are no longer comfortable..

I woke up this morning and started appreciating the fact that it is our Summer Solstice. Then it hit me that today is the day to re-start MF, seeing as how it is a holiday AND a Monday! My long term goal for this year is to go Solstice to Solstice and see how wonderfully I do, aiming for at least a 50lb loss for that 6 mo. period..

I can't tell you how happy I am that you are all still here, I was dreading not being able to find my flirty group again. Thank you thank you! XOXO..

I know what you mean about being at the beach though. We went back to Juneau, AK for our first visit since leaving 3 years ago and I could not get enough of the beach! I miss being right on the water all the time. Up here in southcentral AK we are not nearly as close and it's hard on me. I love the water! Thanks for sharing!!!..

Hope you all had a good day yesterday. Stupid PMS has me up a pound, but it is water weight. I have not eaten off my plan so I know it is not fat. Still, stupid PMS! lol Today is the first day of lunchtime exercising with my team from work. We have a fully equipped gym there with more equipment than is at my gym in the building, so I started a lunchtime exercise plan with my coworkers. We are all going to go every Tuesday and Thursday - should be fun! I'll let you know how it goes..

Glad you liked the pics - I will try and have more for next weekend. I am trying to get out of the house and explore the area around here more. I am thinking of heading to the Muir Woods redwood forest next weekend. Should be fun!.

I have such bad anxiety about even a little trip that I can't eat much and if anything, it'll be carbs..

Not going to sweat it. I'm too stressed already..

I'm actually thinking about brain meds. I'm having terrible, almost crippling anxiety and I can't seem to cure it..

I really thought exercise would solve it..

I don't mean to whine. It's just what's happening..

So I turn 35 next month, I am a single mommy under enormous stress everyday and I'm over 140 pounds overweight and unhealthy. And this bday is freaking me out. Other bdays have come and gone but this one....i dont know. Something is in the air. So this is it I've decided. I will be beginning my Medifast journey the first week of July as a most important birthday gift to myself.

I couldn't get the stitches out of my foot on Mon., June 14th because it was too swollen (partly not elevating it enough and partly bad eating)..

I have not left my house and have elevated my foot for the past 9 days! Hopefully I can get the stitches out tomorrow!.

Good morning Flirts!.

Yay for Wednesday - week is half way over! Today I start the twice weekly lunchtime workouts with my team - should be fun! We have a great gym at work, better than the one at my apartment building, and the other day I got to thinking about using it more. I am just wasting this resource. Then I got to thinking about people on my team - several of them have commented to me on my weight-loss, and how they would like to lose weight too and get healthy, but they don't know how. They are stuck at the beginning mindset we all know so well - this seems overwhelming, I have so much to lose I don't know where to begin, I can't do this, etc. I thought "Why not start by going, as a team, a few times a week to this gym? We can fit in 30 minutes at lunch. Hell, I'll let them have a free 30 mins off in the work day to do this.

It behooves myself and the company, but mostly my team members, to do this.".

Anyway, I called them into a meeting, asked them if they were interested, and everyone said yes! It will be a team building experience, and help us all move toward better health - and it's free! As motivation, I gave them all backpacks for their gym clothes and stuffed them with towels, water bottles, bottled water, soap for the shower, and locks for the gym locker. Just a simple basic kit, but something to motivate them and kickstart the plan. I'll let you all know how it goes!.

Hey Flirts!.

Long time no post! The mood struck to log in today, even though I'm no longer on MF. I had some circumstances change, and can no longer afford to do MF, but I'm still losing the old fashioned way lots of exercise, and healthy food choices. I'm certainly losing slower now, but I've learned that this really isn't a race, it's just a lifestyle that develops and evolves over time. I may have a lot left to lose, but I've already lost over 100 pounds. I feel like a different person because I'm able to do things now that I couldn't even dream of doing just nine months ago. The best thing about going off of Medifast has been the unlimited exercise! If I want to go on a five hour hike, I just eat accordingly to keep my energy up.



I don't want anybody to think that I'm spouting anti-MF nonsense on the board I'm most certainly not! The decision to go on Medifast was one of the best choices I have ever made. I have my food demons in check now, after 7.5-8 months of being strictly on program. I know Medifast will be there for me if I ever need to remind those demons that I'm the one running the show in the future. I think that I would still be over 300 pounds today if I had not found Medifast. The support here is incredible, and the people are so kind. Thank you all so much for being here for me during my time on MF! I'm not sure that I could have done it without you!.

, those pictures are awesome! Thank you for sharing. I live on an island and rarely get to see the water. How is that for strange? I love to just sit on the beach and listen to the water. I would rather do that than any other vacation spot (though the mountains of Germany are beautiful) as the water destresses me faster than anything else. No, I don't get IN the water due to not being able to swim.....but the music of the surf calms me in ways nothing else can or does..

Hello my dearest Flirts.....sorry I was MIA for few days, DH was on vacation this past last week so we had so many projects going in/around the house.

One of the major project was painting, finally odne with it tonight..... i'll be more online posting and checking from monday.....

Its nice to see some of our old friends coming back and recommitting.

Its actually a very good encouragement for me cuz I can be more accountable to a number of my friends!!! i've been going on & off with the workouts though.

But my greatest NSV ? I actually stopped weighing myself everyday since past 6 days....YAY.....DH hid it God knows where and he is gonna give it to me tomorrow (sunday morning)....since i've been true to myself and OP this past week i'm hoping for huge numbers....i'll let you all know tomorrow.....have a great OP weekend everyone.....

Good morning Flirts!.

Hope you all are having a great weekend! Nothing much to report from here - still having PMS water retention issues, which always drive me crazy! Feeling puffy, bloated, and crampy is just not fun, and combined with weight gain, well, you know how that goes. Blah! At least it will be off soon - perhaps I'll go get some Pamprin today. Everything else is ok - just trying to press on with my diet and make some substantial progress this month. Last month was a really slow weight loss for me, so I am hoping for a fair bit more gone by this time next month. We'll see how it goes!.

Hello my dear friends, today is such an important day for me, I have entered a new decade, yes....i did it,.

157.2!!!!!!!.

I was actually away from the scale thing since monday so it's 6 days now since I haven't weighed myself, DH hid it for me looking at my frustration on the stalled scale and he had to do that.

And gave it to me this morning and voila........5.6 pounds down since last monday.

I'm sooooo happy and wanted to share it with you all......i have learned it the hard way that U HAVE to be 100% OP to get good results, I am a great BLT queen and thought all the while that oh a tiny winy bite of this and that wouldn't hurt my loss, i've been onplan the rest of the day, but yes those BLT's do count!!!......am sooo happy that it paid off......

DH and I just got back from a long weekend in Germany..

I had absolutely no computer time the entire weekend which stopped me from obsessing about work as there was nothing I could do about it AND, sadly, also stopped me from posting here. I missed you! LOL.

Today begins freshnew determination convincing myself to go through the cupboards and toss anything which may tempt me to be off plan. As today is trash day, these temptations will be long gone in a short period of time..

SUMMER has hit the UK! It is hot, and I do NOT want to add another ounce to what I weigh at this moment. LOL I will be going upstairs and weighing so that I can post my true weight prior to going to work this morning. I know it will be up as I was off plan over the weekend in Germany. My tummy hurts this morning, and I don't blame it. I abused it horribly, and know I will pay the price. I can forgive myself though, as.

Just stopping in before work to say hello - hope everyone is doing well. Stupid PMS is still bloating me, ugh! Just a particularly hard month I guess. Workouts with my team at work are going awesome though - we have stuck to the plan and even added another day to our routine. This is inspiring and everyone seems to be having a good time too!
