First question I got is What are some tasty egg Medifast recipes for breakfast? Thanks in advance for any answer or 2. Another question on my mind: I'm only 8 days out of my.

Surgery.

, but I'm telling you I am sooooo hungry! No, not that I just want to eat, I'm literally hungry! I have been on clears until yesterday and I tried some Atkins shake and did fine with that but I could of downed the whole container! This morning I tried 2 ounces of cream of wheat with soy milk added to thin it out a little more, tolerated well but I am still soooo hungry! I have only lost 4 pounds this first week and before the.

Surgery.

I was actually a jogger and have never ate sugar or sweets anyways and have really always been a fish and lean meat and vegetable eater! Not really unhealthy of a eater! Yes on occasion I'd enjoy a cheeseburger and fries but so do skinny people! So I guess my question for this group is, how often is the.

Surgery.

A failure? I know it is too soon to tell, but I can't imagine mine will be too big of a success when I already have the lifestyle post op that I'm suppose to "begin" in a few weeks!.

I guess I'm just frustrated and maybe jumping the gun a little, who knows!..

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I bump into an useful answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could give you an answer..

Are you getting in enough protein?.

Getting enough protein is going to help with your hunger. Invest in some great non-flavored protein mix and add it to your meals...

I agree, protein is the key. also, you have to be able to tell the difference between physical hunger vs. head hunger. not saying you are experiencing head hunger BUT...it could be. The.

Surgery.

Will fail if it isnt used as a tool. We can all go back to the way we were if we dont follow the rules. No matter how hungry you are..try to remember that. You are still post op so your insides are healing, try try try to stay on track. You can do it!!!..

I didn't start getting that "full feeling" until after week 2. You are only having liquids which funnel out of your pouch pretty rapidly..

It will work...one day at a time!!..

Make sure you are getting your water in too, lots of times it's water hunger not Medifast food hunger you are feeling. It's very east to dehydrate, so push the liquids..

Hugs! Patricia..

I craved Medifast food constantly after.

Gastric bypass surgery.

But really couldn't eat as much as I thought and if I tried I'd get sick. Having weight loss doesn't take away your desire for Medifast food it just makes it so that you.

Eat less.

If you are craving certain things chances are your Medifast diet is lacking... I actually made an appointment with the nutritionist 3 weeks after.

Surgery.

To ask him if it was possible that the.

Surgery.

Failed. He explained basically everything I just said to me. But whatever you do don't eat larger portions... fill up on protein instead... and typically you are still swallow and gassy a few weeks after.

Surgery.

I actually gained weight during the first three weeks, but then went on to loose 120 pounds in the next 4 months or so. Don't stress too much and just try to follow the doctors orders...

Surgery.

Give it some time and you will see the pounds start melting off. Take pictures and your measurements and then you will be able to see the different. Get as much protein as possible and sip, sip, sip...

Eight days out, I'll just be starting full liquids. I think you may be rushing things. You need to give your body at least 2-3 weeks for all those stitches inside to heal. Also there is a difference between feeling EMPTY and feeling HUNGRY... Once you're getting enough protein in, you'll recognize the difference. Hang in there, girl. This is a marathon, not a sprint...

I do feel like I haven't been getting enough protein but on the clear.

Liquid diet.

, I'm not even allowed shakes! Only nasty clear protein supplements! I think now that I've started to sip on the atkins shakes and tolerating them it will add to my protein intake and I will officially start full fluids on day 14 and try my hardest to abide by the dr's orders on that one!! Thanks everyone!..
