Quick question: What have you done to help you loose 30 lbs. Anyone tried Medifast? Thanks for any comment. Second question of mine... I moved this group down from the clubhouse... I think because we are meeting a short term goal it fits better here..

I know lots of us have summer time goals we'd like to meet. It's 4 months untill the 4th of July. Over the years I've set this goal for myself and never really accomplished it to it's fullest. This year is different, and I feel confident saying it! I'm 2.5 weeks into medifast and I know this will work for me. I'm ready to work out and get into shape for all of fun summer events... b-day parties, family get togethers, and vacations.

100% OP.

100% Water.

At least 3/day week 45min w/o.

April Goal:.

Start C25K.

It's a 12 week program that will bring me right to the 4th of July!!!..

Good question... I dunno what is the right answer. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I got an decent answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could help you..

Hi Stephanie, I would love to join your group! My wedding anniversary is the 8th of July and I am hoping to look really good by then. I just started yesterday and am excited to watch the weight come off!!! I need to think of some more precise goals like pounds or percentages lost and then some little rewards to go with them... Good luck staying OP this month and getting all your water in! I am going to attempt to do the couch to 5k when I've been on the program longer and have more energy. I'm so tired now, I think I am going to need a nap!..

Any chance I could join your group? I like the idea of a challenge ending right around 4th of July, as my family has a beach vacation planned. So Woo Whoo!! I'm the mother of two children and work full time as a school counselor..

-just want to say hey to a fellow educator/counselor. I worked as a high school counselor for more than 10 years and now I work with counselors, social workers and nurses. This thread sounds EXCITING to me also, I was trying to figure out how to start one myself. But, I think I might take part in this one as well. If it's not too late...

This is a great idea!.

I just started on Friday (thankfully only had one bad day of headaches) and I'm already feeling more energized. I've been 100% faithful, so I'm only behind 3 days ;-).

Right now I am currently sorting out an old ankle injury.

And walking most of the time in a cam-walker (one of those boots up to your knee) and dealing with some issues it has caused up my entire left leg. I'm going to lots of doctors appointments, getting scans & tests done - the whole nine yards. My fitness aspect of the plan is going to have to be fairly unique for a while as I try to juggle everything else in my life - especially if I end up having surgery (very likely at this point - just a matter of time at this point) so my months might change - but March I think I can safely lock down..

March.

-150% Water (I've made myself drink 64 oz daily for ages... I lose faster w/ more water).

-Four 1 hr gym sessions (Gym at least once a week for weight training).

-Ab Ripper X DVD - 3 nights a week..

I would like to join, even though I'm late I've been OP since March 2nd! I would like to be around 185ish by then. So far I'm down 10.6 and I weigh again Wednesday (I have taken a peek or 2 already though and I'm down 2 more)..

How has everyone's week been? My oldest just turned 4 last weekend and we had a party for him. It was hard but I stayed on plan! My mother in law and my dad were talking to me about dieting and watching what I eat and don't like that I'm not eating fruit and more complex carbs etc. I just smiled and listened. Finally told my MIL I was doing medifast, she didn't know what it was so I pulled out my box of packets and she seemed a bit interested. Maybe the next time I see her she will notice a difference. Granted Ive only lost just over 7 lbs, but I'm not sure that I'll see her before Easter and that is more than a month away!!! I have my first dr.

Was on medifast and has done really well. I'm sure he'll be excited to see that I'm taking charge of my health and dropping this weight for good!!!..

Yep, id like to join this thread too!! Four months from now..I could only imagine Id be in the lower 200's and will feel much much better than weighing almost 400 pounds last Summer...and clothes shopping be much better!!.

So by July I hope to be 220..byt then....we see what happens.....

Hopefully fit into these size 1x pants that I ordered from Old Navy LOL...so these and two other pants I have in my closet be my "goal" pants to fit into.....

Thats it for now...then worry about May LOL...cant believe summer is right around the corner.....

So, how much weight you wanna lose by the 4th?? Mines ..43 pounds....hmmm...doable I would think LOL..

I'm not too sure how much I want to have lost by then, my goal is to fit into my wedding dress by our anniversary on July 8th. Give my hubby a little surprise. I am about 30 heavier now then I was then so I'm not sure that I'll make it to the same weight. It might be worth a go though right!.

I have been on the program for 2 weeks tomorrow (3/18) and have already lost 9 pounds, so it may be possible. I hope to loose around ten pounds a month.....

A bit about me....I was very successfull the first time I used MF. I lost 75 lbs. in 6 months in 2007-2008, and even though I wasn't at goal weight I was happy with my results. I began slipping up on my eating habits, and gradually gained back 15 lbs. in 2008. As my eating habits got worse, the weight began to pile back on, and even though I am not back up to my heaviest weight I am only 40lbs.



Sadly, I am a fitness instructor ( I know....SAD). I teach a spin class three days a week, and a circuit training class the other two. I am an exercise fanatic, but I am also just as fanatical about food. I know my "drug" of choice is food. I come from a long line of addicts....so it is no revelation to me that I LOVE food. I go to it in every situation....to celebrate, to mourn, to comfort, to wallow, and to relax! I am not unhappy or depressed, honestly I am completely happy most of the time.



I know that the relationship I have with food, is by far my most unhealthy one. I know that I can be successful on MF, and IT WILL WORK 100%. I look forward to working alongside of all of you!.
