My 1st question is: What is a good Nutrisystem diet for women? Many thanks for any answer. Second question of mine... I know this is self serving and a shameless way to brag about myself. I tried to justify it by telling myself any Newbies who read this can see what can be achieved in about 9 months time. Besides my weight loss has slowed down now that I'm getting closer to goal and things like this really keep me motivated to stay the course. So here is yet another Nutrisystem Victory of mine..

After losing 118 pounds on Nutrisystem, I noticed my work pants and weekend jeans have been getting a little baggy, perhaps droopy would be a better description. So I decided to go out and get some new work pants and jeans. Last year at this time I wore pants with a size 46 waist. Yes I had to shop at the big boy stores to get pants that fit me. I had worked my way down the closet to my old 38 waist pants (that were now baggy) so I naturally thought I may now be able to wear 36 waist pants. I started with jeans and couldn't find a pair of 36's with a 34 inseam, but they had a pair of 34's with a 34 inseam.

So I tried them on, I couldn't believe it. THEY FIT!!! not tight, not snug, but actually FIT!!! I must have stared at those pants on me for 5 minutes with a grin on my face that would creep out a convict. So I thought, "well it's probably just a large cut pair of pants." But then I went and got some dress pants and some additional work pants with all 34 waist and they all fit. If you would have told me a year ago when I was wearing size 46 waist pants that I'd be wearing a size 34 waist pants in one year I would have asked you "Why? What disease do I have?". I don't have any illness I'm happy to report, what I do have is a new lease on life, and a new outlook on health and wellness.

Thank you all for helping me achieve a goal I thought not possible this time last year. I hope you can all share in this Nutrisystem Victory and realize it's as much a victory for you as it is for me. I didn't do this alone...

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I got an good answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably can answer it..

Awesome Jonah!! I'm happy for you.

The closest I've gotten to an NSV is losing a couple notches on the old belt..

Great NSV..

Is it just me, or did it work like this for you also.

The closer I get to goal the slower the weight is coming off, but my clothes seem to be getting bigger much faster. 4 weeks ago I was squeezing into 36's, they fit good for a few weeks (mainly cuz of the holidays probably) and now they're getting big...

Absolutely right! Hearing success stories motivates people a lot! Let's see a picture of you "wearing" a pair of those old 46's and holding them out like in the ads!..

It's not just you. That is exactly what has been happening to me lately. As I get closer to my goal weight my weight loss has really slowed down. For the first time I'm having weeks with no weight loss and/or a one pound weight loss. Yet I actually feel thinner, and the fact that I'm having to buy new pants and new dress shirts proves I'm actually getting smaller. It's been more than ten years since I've fit in a pair of size 34 waist pants, and it makes me feel ten years younger...

Tom,.

When I first started Nutrisystem on day one I took a picture of myself. I set the camera on the tripod and snapped off a few full body front and side shots (weighing 342 at the time, they aren't pretty). I looked at those photo's with such disgust and made a promise to myself that I would not show them to anyone until I reached my goal weight. Once I do reach my goal weight I'll set up the tripod and snap off a few more full body shots to show the difference. I know it may seem weird but it's part of my motivation to continue on this path and reach my goal. I really want to show off what I've done so far (losing 118 pounds, 12 inches off my waist, and 4.5 inches off my neck), but I really want to stick with my original plan..

Once I reach goal, it will be you and Vader626 I will be thanking most. Vader's pictures are what helped motivate me to start Nutrisystem in the first place. Your regular posts and advice and mindset of it being a lifestyle change more than a diet helped me get through those first few tough weeks and months. As my body adjusted to smaller portions and healthier food choices..

So I will post pictures. Just not yet...

I've donated all my old pants to charity except one pair of size 46 jeans. Once I reach my goal weight I will take a picture wearing those old fat pants. Just like they do in the ads..

Stay Tuned, I'm only 29 pounds away from my goal...
