Got a question, hope someone can answer... What is the best weight loss program? Nutrisystem? could you recommend others if better? Hoping for any comment. My other question... I'm the one that posted the "failing miserable at this" post from last week. Everyone told me not to wait until Monday to restart and recommit. But I went out of town for the weekend, so I figured a fresh start on Monday would be best. |

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the answer to your question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I discover an answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could give you help..

You need to use BB Code, not HTML. Copy/paste what is below, only switch the <> to [].
<url=http://www.w8book.com/me.php?id=10688>. <img>http://www.w8book.com/B.php?og=1&gb=10688</img></url>. Good luck sticking to it this time - it took me a year to get back on track and. Stay. There, but the point is that I'm. Staying. .. Back to your regularly scheduled testosterone chat... |
Try to get through Monday first, wake up tomorrow and start all over again...

That's basically how I started, with a 4-week commitment only. I didn't opt for the auto-reorder despite the obvious savings. I got into the 4th week, was down something like 15 pounds, and decided to go for another month..
Now I'm down 28 pounds, and about to enter my eighth week. I've decided to do another month. My goal is potentially reachable during the next month, but even if I don't make it, I'll probably choose to stay on another month.. It does get easier as you go, especially as you get better with preparing for your meals. When I know I'm gonna be on the road all day, I pack my breakfast, snack, lunch, dessert, and an extra dessert to hold me if I missed my usual dinner time. Four pints of water, too. Yes, it's a pain and requires some planning, but you'll really enjoy the results. Good luck!.. |

BryCola,.
Hope you first day is going well!. We are here to support you. I think setting a short-term goal will help and hopefully the progress you make the first week or two will make a huge difference.. Best of Luck,. Clark.. |
Hey Bry,.
It's another Monday and it's good to see you back. That means that you haven't given up the cause and I bet it was on your mind all weekend. So dig in and good luck... |

CTbob, that is a good idea about packing your meals. I work a lot too and on the road part of the week, if I plan ahead, then my days of eating on Nutrisystem are easier. Do you think that the nutrisystem meals are more filling than regular food? I always eat my Nutrisystem meals first before I eat the rest of my non Nutrisystem foods that way I get full faster and then I don't overeat for the rest of the meal. I have also been trying to drink my water more and more...i'm just not a big water drinker. I have lost four pounds, and I want to stay on the program for as long as it takes. It is going to save me some money; however, I still have to cook for the rest of my family.
What are some good websites for info on how to cook cheap?.. |
Bry: This is exactly why I weigh myself every morning. I recomit to the program and myself to keep following this journey...
Bry, keep it up. We're all here rooting for you and we're here if you need help or encouragement..
Or, for that matter, we're here for you even if you need another swift kick in the ASS!.. |
Thanks everyone! Y'all are great!.
So, it's after 9 on Monday evening (on the east coast), and I made it throught the day at 100% of the diet. And went to bootcamp class after work. So...the first day of my "recommittment" is a success. LOL Now I'm gonna make day 2 a success... |
Wow...how sad is the weight loss chart in my sig????? I'll weigh in at the end of this week...and hopefully will have a slightly downward trend...
Good luck on Day 2. Do whatever it takes to keep yourself motivated and on plan...
I haven't noticed that, but then again I tend to eat a bit from each food, so all's I know is that when I finish the meal I'm fairly full. And it's not that.
"I'm totally stuffed (belch!)". Kind of full I used to get back in my old gorging days, but more of a. "mmm, that was good!". Kind of full.. And if I'm still even a tiny bit hungry after the meal, I crack open another bottle of water. That always does the trick!.. |
It's now day 2 of my "recommittment"...2:45 in the afternoon, and still 100%. This is usually the day when I would start to drift back to old ways. Not gonna do it today however! Some friends wanted to do something tonight, but I told them it could not involve food. Maybe a movie or something. I'm not ready to be tempted by a restaurant...
Way to go bro...stick to it. Once you establish a routine it'll get easier. I'm 21 days in myself and I can honestly say that it's been relatively easy so far. 100% since the start..
I am getting the unbelievable urge to have a smoke though (haven't smoked in a long time) strange right?. Not gonna fall back into that hole either...lol. Stay strong brother!!. D-Day.. |
I hope y'all don't mind these daily updates. But this might keep me going until I'm in a routine. Day 3 now, and it's going well. Just got back from the gym. Still 100%...although I only had 1 salad today, and I'm supposed to have 2. Friday will be my first weigh in...then hopefully my chart thing won't look so pathetic...
Nope we dont mind at all. We enjoy hearing 100% on plan. Congrats on another day down. Keep it up Bry and your chart will be falling faster than a Spurrier visor...
Hang in there!.
See you've made it a few solid days already.. It gets easier as you build better habits... |
Of course we don't mind, feel free to share..
Try to remember how good it felt to stay on plan today and do it again tomorrow... |
Hopefully when you weigh in you'll see results..
And that should keep you motivated in the right direction... |
THAT'S WHY WE'RE HERE!.
There's a purpose to these boards and one day I'll figure it out. Till then, guess I'll keep reading and LOSIN... |
So...it's Friday. A full work-week is about over, and I'm pretty proud of myself. Went from 222 to 217. I understand part of that is water weight, but I'm sure part of that is FAT also..
The first weekend of my "recommittment" starts in a few hours, and that will be a whole other set of challenges. Thanks for listening to me this week!!!!!.. |
