My question is WHAT is the difference between nutri system, Nutrisystem and all those others? Many thanks for any response. Another question I got... Hi I was so good my first 4 weeks. Down almost 13lbs and still loosing. Latley I feel like I am loosing some ground. cheating a little and I am nervous.

What do I mean. Today I took my son to McDonalds.. I stole about 4 french fries. I had 2 side salads with balsamic viniger for my lunch..

While watching tv tonight I grabbed a few (4-5) jelly beans from my sons bag..

Every so often I will sneak a squirt of light whipped cream.

Yesterday I had a few mini marshmellows that the kids had lying around..

At work I have about a 15 pistachio nuts a day.

I am doctoring the salads with some fat free crutons and some fried onions...

I am still drinking the water and eating fruits. Vegies are a little harder..

All little things..... But I fear this little things can grow into bigger things. How do I just fully be on this without the urge to cheat at all..

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer to your question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I find an decent answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could give you an answer..

The problem is that the little things add up and habit leads to more little things. 4 weeks into the program is a dangerous time. Early loss makes you think it's all OK. Even if you stay strictly on program, about this time a plateau is not uncommon. Those small deviations will make it worse..

Good luck! You're off to a great start!.

I think the problem is your attitude. Of course things can change. Things always do. The choice is, are they going to change for the better or the worse..

You know you shouldn't be eating this crap. Here is another news flash for you your kids shouldn't be eating this crap either. Get it out of your house today. If you don't, I will look forward to your children posting on these boards...

You just have to suck it up and stay away from the crap. When I first started the program I was still grilling steaks and potatoes for the family and even though it wasn't easy, I stuck to my guns and stayed away from it all. Even through the holidays, it's possible to remain 100% NS..

The only motivation I needed back then was a look in the mirror. Now, 6 months later all I have to do is slip into my fat pants and watch them fall back to the floor. If you want to lose then just do it. If you don't, enjoy your big mac...

I think that knowing what you are doing is already a step in the right direction. Write it all down each day no matter how insignificant and read it each day and the day after so you are aware of what is happening..

Kids can be a problem but if you TEACH AND SHOW them proper eating along with following through, it will only help them as they progress in years. Start making a salad a part of lunch and dinner along with a veggie. There is so much you can do with salads and veggies so go in to the RECIPE CLUB and check out the recipes by a couple of the members. Graylady is one that comes to mind. If you make these things for you AND your family, it will help everyone..

Keep up the good work, do the Mindset Makeover as that goes over things like what triggers inner and outer hunger, how to recognize them and what to do with each. It takes time so do not expect everything to change overnight, just expect to know what you are doing and learn as you move forward...

I've never understood how people on Nutrisystem - or any diet plan - who are trying to get healthy will turn around and take their kids to places like McDonald's. Isn't that the same kind of crap that got you fat? So it's not okay for you, but it's okay for your kids? WTF?.

I'm not saying be that parent that never lets your kids have sugar or whatever. But there's a big difference between a scoop of ice cream at the end of a day of eating healthy food and a Happy Meal for dinner, you know?.

Granted, I don't have kids, so I don't have to deal with them whining about wanting to go someplace like that. But, really, isn't the parent supposed to be in charge? The kid may "hate" you now, but when he grows up and is the only one out of his friends that isn't fat, he'll likely thank you...

1. French fries (even just 4) - not on plan. Salad - good.

2. Jelly beans (even 4-5) - not on plan.

3. Whipped cream - light could be (not necessarily though) a dairy serving.

4. Marshmallows - not on plan..

1. Stay the hell out of McD's! French fries (even 4) - not on plan.

2. Jelly beans - not on plan (even 4-5).

3. Whipped cream - could count as a dairy, but not necessarily. Just say no!.

4. Marshmallows - not on plan (not even one).

5. Could count as a fat serving but it's hard to stop..

6. Croutons - maybe a carb serving. Fried onions - what part of "fried" is confusing?.

7. Good on water & fruit. Work on the veggies. They are your best friend..

You may never be free of the urge to cheat. Just look at your 'before' picture and don't do it. It does get easier. Hang in there. Follow the plan or you are just throwing money down a hole. Good luck...

I wish as growing up my parents kept junk food away from me. I think people are creatures of habit and raising a child with happy meals is a solid path to diabetes and other severe health issues...

My first trip (in over one year) to Mickie D's was yesterday. I was with a friend and there really wasn't any other place to go..

I had a quarter pounder w/ cheese and a diet coke. I even took the bottom of the bun off. Felt pretty good about my choice. Of course watching the fries accross the table was a challange..

My true friend was pleased he didn't make me screw up and that's how I did lunch yesterday..

As I take a bow, I'll say where there's a will, there's a way...

Well today for me was a much better day. I was 100% on plan not one deviation. I think my problem is with when I am not working for the day and at home. Anyway. Thank you for all of your help and support...
