Got a question, hope someone can answer... What is the fastest Nutrisystem diet, product, ect you know of? Thanks in advance for any response. My other question... I can't tell if it's jealousy or not, but my wife seems to want to change her eating habits now that I'm trying to change mine..

She actually asked me if I would still want her after I lost all my weight..

Is anyone else's girlfriend or wife acting weird now that you are on NS?..

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I got an anything. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could assist you..

My wife asked me the same. And she shows her jealosy when I tell her that people are commenting on the difference in me. She actually started the program last month. I told her not to do it for me because that would never work..but to do it for herself..

I just assurred her that I love her for her and my physical changes wouldn't change that...

I hope you wont mind a womans veiwpoint here.... but it applies..

Do you suppose that she feels the need to change too? Perhaps you've inspired her to change some habits herself, and thats a good thing..

Unless there are other factors, it doesnt sound much like jealousy. And it's common for women to feel threatened when their husband or partner reavaluates his life choices, including a diet..

Of course it's uncomfortable for us. We've (normally) been accepting of your sweat pants and xxxl shirts....lol..

And another female POV....many times we fear that if our significant other is making changes that it's not for themselves/us, but for someone else. We hear all the time of hubbies who suddenly lose weight and start dressing better because of a mistress/affair. So it brings up our own insecurities..

Just reassure your lady that there's no one else, and that you are doing this to get healthy and have a longer, healthier life with her...

Just a thought from a man's POV, all women are nuts.... They get crazy when you make changes and get crazy when you don't. We all know we can't win no matter what we do, so we might as well do what we want to.... At least changing eating habits and getting in shape is a positive change, right??..

That is really funny. And so true..

There was an episode of King of Queens once when Doug (Kevin James) lost all this weight. His wife actually was really upset cause everyone was paying so much attention to him. She said she was the hot one and he was the funny one. He wasn't allowed to move in on her territory. Very funny...

In my case, it inspired my wife to get on the program. I've only been on it for about 3 weeks, but have lost 11 pounds. She would go ahead and eat her huge dinners, and I would make sure not to make any snarky remarks (though it is amazing how much she eats, and I used to eat even more than her!). Also, she saw that I was by no means suffering on the plan. So in my case, there may have been a little envy on her part, but it translated into action!..

In my case, the opposite is true. My wife lost a lot of weight and was part of the inspiration for me to do something about my weight..

She has been my biggest cheerleader..

And yes, without so much gut out there, there is more room to manuver... Does that count as a NSV???..

Change is good and the relationship that embraces change will only get stronger. If that is not the case, then you've got other underlying problems...

My wife started on Nutrisystem before I did and lost more weight than she had in years and she had trouble eating everything the plan called for. I decided to join her and has been good for each of us as we encourage each other and help each other stick to the plan. We are already seeing "benefits" in several areas...

My response exactly..

Regarding the Family Plan, I called to sign my husband up the same day I signed myself up online (Family Plan might be available online now but wasn't when I joined in Dec) and it was $30 or $50 savings plus he got 3 free weeks also. Wait a second, I did all the work and only got 2 free weeks! lol With the Family Plan discount plus the free weeks, I think it works out to be the same as the Buddy Bucks system, but Buddy Bucks seems easier since you can do it all online (I think). HTH!..
