Challenge - yes. I'm hoping that my sister will be joining us too! She is Go_80 - Adi is her name - pronounced like the number 80. And she is a totally awesome sister!.

1. Favorite L&G is Ceviche. I LOVE it!!!.

2. My favorite exercise is Wii Fit. I LOVE spending time on my wii and do my best to get in 30 minutes every day. Mostly on step and whatever the current Doing Wii with Mii challenge is..

3. I have no idea what my favorite outfit looks like... currently it is the 1 pair of pants that fit and a black and white top I got from my mom that didn't fit me till last week..

My future favorite outfit will probably be black leather pants and black leather thigh high boots and some slinky top... yup I'm mentally ready for that!.

Next person's #3 is What is your dream night on the town for after you reach goal weight?..

Hi Teamies - - I just joined and am looking forward to much support and encouragement and will give it back also! First week down went great - - 6lbs down!!!! Yahoo!!! Feels great to be in control again! The only problem I had was on busy work days I don't think I drank enough water - - have planned for next week by putting a big water bottle in my car and can sip during the day - -I had a regular to-go coffee cup filled with water in the am but that was gone way too early in the day - - I love to take RTD shakes and bars with me- - no stopping at fast food places at all! (i'm a hospice/home care RN so I'm out and about most of the day -don't spend much time in the office except to get organized for the day.) Looking forward to the next challenge starting the 20th!.

1 - -Favorite L&G is rotisserie chicken, salad with lettuce, cukes, celery with wish bone spritz..

2 - favorite exercise is the elyptical machine or treadmill while watching tv when the weather doesn't permit walking outside, followed by the Wii workouts...

Hi Pat, Welcome! We can cruise down the scale together as we are at similar current weight and close to the same goal..

We can do this!.

Water is very important. I was listening to some TSFL coach training webinars and they kept saying that 84 ounces of water a day makes a huge difference on the pounds coming off..

I find that keeping 20 ounce bottles of water really helps - that way you only need to drink just over 4 a day..

I admire your career. I'd love to do hospice work. Perhaps when my kids get out of college I can look into getting my degree in that line.....

H2H was a nice challenge and I learned a lot. I'm really looking forward to this one as I really feel like I know so much more about myself and this program. After some poor choices at Thanksgiving, I am certain that I will make different choices on future holidays. I need to make choices that my future self will be happy with..

Good Monday morning purps. I had a great time Friday night and the little black dress was perfect. As far as food, I was completely OP, however I do not believe that the margarita's (notice the plural) were at all OP. Believe me, I paid for it and am now back 100% OP. I will get to that goal or below. I have always "called it good" when I would get this close in the past and I will not allow myself to do that this time.

My favorite L&G at this time is Parmesan crusted tilapia, Asparagus sauted in EVOO with a little garlic sea salts..

My favorite exercise is my Wii EA Active.

My favorite state other than Oregon is Hawaii.

Question for the next person, What is your favorite method of controlling excessive dry skin that comes with winter weather?.

Hi Donna,.

I already had my turn but I have a fantastic cream that gets me through the Oregon winter even with the wood stove running 24/7... Bath and Body Works - True Blue Spa - Lay it on Thick - Shea Butter cream..

A dab will do ya and I always smooth it on after my shower, before I dry off - the water helps it spread easily. Then I use extra on my face and hands. Nothing restores my skin like this stuff does...

I'd like to join in..

I'm Robin. I'm 42 (just had a birthday on Thanksgiving). I'm finishing my 6th week I believe on Thursday. The plan is going well for me. I need encouragement to keep track of everything. I sometimes get a little loose with condiments and fats..

1. I've been hungry lately so my favorite L&G is bulky. Scrambled Egg Beaters with a side of Shirataki Noodles (I like the orzo shape) with light ranch, garlic powder and parmesan cheese. It's a huge plate of food..

2. I don't have a favorite exercise. It's something I need to work on and will be a goal for 2010. I walk. I read threads about Wii and might just get one with Christmas money..

3. I think it's the winter skin question? I like Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion (buy it at Costco). It is light and doesn't wash off when you wash your hands. My hands have been so dry lately. They suck that lotion right up..

New question: What is your favorite Medifast meal and do you do anything to make it better?.

What is the new challenge? I feel like I missed something...

Hello Purple peeps,.

It pays to be ON PLAN!! Lost 2.5 more pounds this week for a total of 74.5. Was really hoping for 3 pounds so I could hit 75 on the head, but 74.5 does round up!.

As far as a moisterizer for the winter- I use Mary Kay Extra Emolient Night Cream! Love it!!..

Do you have room for another new member? I just started Medifast a couple of days ago, and would love the companionship! ( A little challenge is always good, too.).

I'll work on getting a real photo up..

At this point, I'm just working on getting used to the food, and discovering which ones I like/dislike. There are a couple that I haven't been able to tolerate (oatmeal) but I've found a couple of recipes for those. I'm also feeling bit under the weather, but I understand these symptoms are common in the first few days..

If you can't tell by my avatar, I live in WI, I've been married for almost 13 years, and am the proud mother of three boys (11, 9, & 6)..

(And one bratty papillon) At 5'10'' I checked my BMI last week and realized I was only a pound from obese. I always knew I needed to lose some weight, but that was a real eye-opener. I'm hoping to have great success with MF...

Of course there is room Jenn! The more the merrier.

I LOVED living in Wisconsin! I lived in Waukesha about 12 years ago and it was always so awesome how time stopped when the Packers were playing. The whole state gets real serious about football... now I sadly live in a teamless state.

I still have my cheesehead packed away! LOL.

I'm still running 100% on plan... oH and I posted new photos of me on my page with before and after (so far at least) pictures..

Having a strange lethargic day, but I'm sure it will pass quickly... I'm heading off to bed soon and I think a good night's sleep will fix it..

We're gonna rock this next challenge!!!..

Hi Robin and Jenn, welcome to the castle..

My favorite moisturizer is any brand of pure coconut oil. It comes in a bottle and is solid until it is heated above 65 degrees. I keep it in the shower and put it on the floor when showering so it melts then when I am done with my shower I rub it all over before drying off. I discovered it while in Hawaii and badly sun burnt 7 years ago. It was recommended by a local. I now use it everyday.

Great stuff. I also take super omega and that really helps. I need all I can get, age, ocean air, wind, cold weather and woodstove all add up..

This morning I got on the scale and it said 134.6. I about cried. I ran and got the camera, got back on the scale and it said 136.2?? Oh yea, camera weight. I put the camera down and could not get that scale to budge below 135.2. Maybe tomorrow??.

Another good thing for me today was I was fighting my size 10 pants to stay up all day. I have been noticing them getting looser for a while, so when I got off work I went to Ross and bought 3 pairs of size 8 slacks, 1 jeans, 3 skirts. I didn't try them on and when I got home and tried them on the skirts fit well enough as did the jeans. All of the slacks where a bit big so back to Ross for size 6's..

When I started Medifast I figured maybe a size 9. I never imagined being a size 6-8. Needless to say, I am very happy to do the exchange..

Marni, great job on the loss. You are so close to the 150's, how exciting. I think you started about the same time I did, you really are rocking this program..

Cori, yeah, me to on the Wii. I got off track at Halloween and have not been able to get back in the swing of it. I will really work on that after the first of the year..

Hi Denise, good for you at being 100%. That reminds me, I need to fix my siggy as I have not been so 100% lately. Probably 100% OP 98% of the time. I really need to get back on track so I can focus on transition..

Well better go do some dishes or something. Sleep tight all...

My favorite OP drink... is water with a package of momentum strawberry lemonaid flavor with a lemonaide crystal light!.

Question for the next person.... What is your favorite season and why???.

I will back in the groove of things soon.... I've been off-plan for a few... with the hubby home. He gets taken to the airport tomorrow morning. Very sad day for our family. However this is the 1/2 way mark of his time gone...

So it will be time for me to get back into the groove of things and shed off the rest of the weight that I've got as my goal. Tomorrow will be hard. Last time he left I didn't want to eat anything for two days. These two weeks have been absolutely wonderful and couldn't have asked for it any better. We only had one blow-up...

So this time when he comes home we will invite people to a celebration... unlike last time. Last time only a very select few knew cause we had repairs to be made. Nothing like in-laws trying to move in and stay with you for 2 weeks of the 2 weeks 3 days. Anyways - Christmas is hard when he's deployed but at least it will be the last one like this.

So I will be back in the swing of things in a couple of days - let the emotions settle down and get back into the groove of things..

Glad to see we have some newbies for our challenge and some of the 'Ol timers up for the challenge too..

Welcome everyone to the castle. Lots of support here with the fellow purple peeps...

Regarding animals...I have one female papillon who is the only other female in the family. She's a sweetheart! Oh, and one turtle, two dwarf frogs and a fish. I also have three little boys if you want to count them as animals..

Denise...I envy you for your Newfoundlands! They are the most wonderful dogs....we were considering adding one when we got our papillon (funny, right??) but ended up rescuing our little girl. We live on a couple of acres, so I think we might still have one in our future. They are so great with children...

Weigh ins for the challenge will be your choice of either sundays or mondays. There will be a reporting thread just for the challenge. I am going to start that thread today as well as a new thread for the chatter. We start a new chatter thread every week. (I'm going to a friends for the night... so don't know if I'll be online to start a new thread or not...).

I usually start the threads late saturday night... sunday morning usually at latest..

Donna... Way to go on meeting goal!.

I've been away a bit over the last 3 weeks... with DH here... and now with him gone and trying to adjust again. It was a very difficult 17th. I have backtracked a little... so the challenge will be good to get me going again.

Welcome all the new purple peeps!!! Glad to have you all on board!.

My pets... I have fish, 1 dog, 2 cats..

Next question for the next person.... What is the strongest motivator for you being on the plan and wanting to lose weight?..

Challenge reporting thread is listed below. The reporting thread is only for stat reporting... chatter continues in the chatter threads. When you report your beginning weight in the challenge thread... you are committing yourself to 6 weeks of reporting to the thread each week. Each week a new reporting thread will be created.

It is better to report than not to for the team. Two non-reporting weeks in a row will take you out of the challenge..

Thanks!..
