Quick question... Where can I buy POWER-POPS with Medifast in Honolulu? Thanks for any answer or 2. 2nd question I got is.. Okay. tonight I went out to dinner with friend and our children and I had fish which I am allowed to have and I also had like the smallest bite of macncheese.... literally one shell (which I don't think I am supposed to have.........the place we went to was a place where we grill our own food...

I walked outside and tried to vomit but I couldn't, however I kept trying to burp and I was able to spit a lot... but it felt like I was gonna die...

And I still don't feel great and it has been 20 more minutes..or 40 or so.....

Please help - I know this is gross... but if I had forced myself to vomit would I feel better? I do not like to vomit but would it have stopped the pain?.

Was this dumping? I really just don't know.......

I definitely learned my lesson... no mac and cheese and the worst part is I don't know if it was the fish or the mac n cheese. ugh...

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I bump into an good answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably can help you..

This has happened to me 4 times since having.

... the pain is horrible and doesnt go away in any quick fashion UNLESS I go throw up. I am pretty sure it's stuff getting stuck in my pouch - 3 of the 4 times it has been chicken ... once it was ground beef. I am always pushing protein - but the dead animal pushes back..

If you read about dumping online, I think the reaction is more severe. Havent experienced that,.

I never do. So, I will stay awya from large amounts of sugar and any refined carbs!..

As you know (because you commented on my earlier post), I had this happen to me today. I had to make myself throw up. I had to keep throwing up though. It really did suck!!.

I had dumping once. I ate 4 almonds and they didn't like me. I felt like I had the flu and felt like it was going to come out of both ends. I kept.

To the bathroom (from 10pm to 3 am) and nothing would ever come out. I finally fell a.

At 3 and when I woke up, I felt like nothing ever happened. My dr said that I had a form of dumping...

Yes... it was indeed dumping... I go through it almost everyday... I am a pro... LOL It is funny how sometimes you eat and you are ok.. then you try the same thing and it makes you sick.....

What I do is drink a mint tea with honey and that helps me trow everything out... then I feel much better....

And I too am soooo grateful for this sight and to all of you :) for all the great feedback.....

IMHO... Nope it doesn't sound like dumping. Sounds like what JJ said... wrong Medifast food at the wrong time, too dry, not chewed enough, ate too much... When I get to feeling like I have to throw up I usually feel like someone is standing on my chest too! Unfortunately regurging the offending Medifast food is the only way I get relief. I have also had the awareness that I can not eat when I am stressed or distracted.

Sometimes I hear it called the "foamies". Try searching past posts for this. Also, here is a great explaination of what dumping is. I know Eggface has posted the link to it before..

Hang in there, you will get the hang of this. We all will!..

Check out my response from earlier post. Get some caricol! (papaya enzyme). Breaks down protein and fast! You will be glad you have some on hand if this ever happens again!.

Sounds like dumping to me just try to take small bites and chew it up real well, sometimes eating fish makes me sick to even chicken if I eat too fast and also drink with my meals, so hang in there you'll try things that will sometimes make you sick cause your body is still adjusting to the changes..

Laura, Jen and I posted almost the same story around the same time yesterday. You posted about the Caricol on my post. I am going to get some of that stuff. Doesn't hurt to try it for only a couple bucks...
