I'm one very exhausted Queen Bee!.

Thank you..

I hope everyone continues to post their answers from the last thread... I absolutely love reading everyone's answers. You definetly learn some new ideas when people answer..

I have no clue how many calories I burned. We walked up and down those dunes and everywhere for about 4 hours... walking up and riding down. We took some breaks to chat and learn what I was doing wrong or better. I'm sure there isn't a sandboarding calorie burner calculator in the exercise section of myplan. LOL..

It was sooo much fun! I am exhausted though. Time for another Medifast meal! I am looking forward to the next time I can go. I think it will be a while though cause you have to go when the sand is dry... and my weekends are pretty booked and it will be rainy very soon..

It is something I do plan to continue to do though now. Gonna get a couple of boards...

I knew it had nothing to do with girl scouts... she is the owner for.

I had originally told her we would come, but I would not eat (Break Fast food is definitely not OP). She just called and asked if she could make my a grilled chicken breast (since they are having them tonight) and a salad. That was so nice!!.

OK...trying to send DH off to bed so I can watch Desperate Housewives. We just got done watching Amazing Race. Still have one more meal left...Choco (w/mint) pudding in the freezer getting nice and cold...YUM!!..

I have to report on the yogurt- I chose Chobani greek style strawberry nonfat yogurt for breakfast today. Since it is vanilla yogurt with some fruit on the bottom I guess I will count it as a small part of my fruit serving as well.I guess the dairy serving should be no more than 120 cal- this is 140cal. Not much difference, but will still adjust the fruit serving to equal it out. I was looking forward to it, it was even better than expected. Tasted like cheesecake to me. I could eat this every day.

Only lost .2 lb this week, so I think I am doing this right...

Kristie, looks like you had a great time. I think it would be fun to try sometime. Is there any place closer the Florence to do this or can it be done at any of the dunes? Houser and Winchester Bay are so full of ATVrs when it is dry so I guess the lake at Honeyman would be great. Not so much going on. Ill have to take the time to check out more of your pictures. You really are becoming one big, oops, I mean little walking NSV.

That one I could not do..

Ann, keep up the great work in transition. Yummy, yogurt. I love dairy products..

Janis, welcome back. I hope all is better for you..

Yvette, hang in there. The plan works. Your body will figure it out in no time..

Cori, have fun in Vegas. I have never been but DH has really been talking about going. Maybe someday..

Thanks to everyone for the kudos on the measurements. It is exciting to see the difference one month makes when we are OP..

Ok, so I will try to answer Kristies questions. I will have to go back and read everyone elses later when I am not working..

1. What is the most amazing thing you've heard from others around you since you have been on MF? Can be compliment or not... it's amazing what people say!.

Probably my little (younger) sister telling me I looked great (I am now, for the first time in years, smaller then her) and asking me how I was losing the weight. When I told her Medifast she said that she had heard of it but could not believe that I was spending all that money and why didnt I just cut back or just cut out my carbs. I told her I needed something more structured for myself and I liked the way Medifast was working for me. She said that she wants to lose weight but just could not see spending all that money as she was sucking down her tequila drink along with a micro brew (she drinks alot) and smoking her cig. Bet I spend a lot less on Medifast then she does on the drinks and Cigs. (not to say that I will never drink again, dont want to sound like a hypocrite).

2. Is there anything you have wanting to try to do... but your weight has gotten in the way of doing it? And are you going to do it when you are at goal?.

Well, I have never been over 200 lbs so my weight has not gotten in the way of much. I did used to get very winded easily when hiking or exploring the property we bought earlier this year. PA is getting easier for me so maybe I can explore our property (9.2 acres of forest) and get to see what we bought. I will probably do that before goal. The one I have for goal, I have never talked to anyone about except my DH. So, Kristie, not a word.

I have always been small (except while nursing) and have always wanted to do this but could not see adding something that nice to the rest of the package. DH said when I get to goal and keep the weight off for a year I can start looking into getting my breasts done. Just a bit bigger and perkier as they seem to be going in different directions these days. Anyone who seen my last measurements will understand why a bit larger. I really am not a vain person, just something I have always wanted.

Not quite as adventuress as some people around the castle but???.

3. What is your trick to getting the amount of water drank that you get down in the day? Ie... what do you do to help you get the required + water down?.

I have two 75 oz water bottles that I trade off. One is always full and cold (or getting there) in the fridge. I take one to work with me and try to finish it by the end of my work day. Then I get the other when I get home and try to finish it by bed time. We have our own spring and a real good filtering system so our tap water is better than most pre bottled water. It used to be two 64 oz bottles but I found these really cool 75 ozrs and was able to up my daily intake with no effort.

4. What are some of the rewards you have already given yourself for meeting mini goals?.

Goal # one was to not be obese any more so my first reward was simply just being overweight and probably the best one I have given myself. My second reward was for hitting 160 and that was my best friend Wii..

Ok, Wow, gotta get back to work. Tired of bouncing in and out of the Word Doc. I will try to catch up on everyone elses answers tonight. Hope everyone has a great rest of the day...

Glad to see everyone has had a great weekend. Wow... not many with actual losses this week... a lot of zeros in the wt lost section... (Yes, I was one of them)..

I will blame mine on the muscles being overworked and swollen.... there must be fluid build up in them... right?.

That's what I'll keep telling myself this week. I keep finding bruises - as I bump them... and loads of pulled muscles. Worth it??? HECK YA!!! I'm ready to go do it again (of course I say that knowing there is lots of rain in the near future and there is no way possible to go!)..

Donna... love the answers. Thank you for sharing..

Happy Tuesday- I finally have time to sit down and write my Holiday Recap!.

Sunday night we went to Macaroni Grill- I really was not tempted by the bread on the table, that was such a weird thought. I ordered the grilled shirmp skewers with grilled veggies and said to not use butter and VERY LITTLE oil. Well I could tell they did just that. It was a bit dry and shriveled, but it was healthy! I dont' think it was near enough shrimp.....

Last night we went to the family friend's house and she had two beautiful chicken breasts and lettuce for me! come to find out she lost 70 pounds on WW and wanted to be supportive. It was hard passing up some of my favorite Break the fast foods like Noodle Kugle, but I will never be able to each much of it anymore (too much sugar and carbs for a diabetic), but I look forward to a taste next year!.

My one black skirt got me through the holidays but is about to be retired as well.... and my hand me down crop pants have to be given back as well. I think I need to run out and get a pair of black pants or capris to get me through the next few weeks of meetings and the such... Good thing Walmart is soooo close!.

Have a great day!.

Go purple!..

1. What is the most amazing thing you've heard from others around you since you have been on MF? Can be compliment or not... it's amazing what people say!.

The funniest was definitely my 11 year old son when he told me I looked much better and SHORTER!.

2. Is there anything you have wanting to try to do... but your weight has gotten in the way of doing it? And are you going to do it when you are at goal?.

Definitely! I love roller coasters and ridden many at large weights, but always worry that the seat belt won't fit. I did have to get out of one in California because I could not buckle it! I want to zip line, and go on water slides with my bottom fitting in the tube!.

3. What is your trick to getting the amount of water drank that you get down in the day? Ie... what do you do to help you get the required + water down?.

It's funny, water is the easy part for me. I just drink!.

4. What are some of the rewards you have already given yourself for meeting mini goals?.

I bought the step for the Wii, chair massages, clothes!!..

Janis- Sorry about the stresses in your life, but congrats to you for getting back OP. I have never gone off, but I think it would be really hard to get back in the mind set- So I give you lots of credit for that..

Donna & Marni- Enjoyed reading your answers to Kristies questions. Marni!!! You are the biggest loser again, Great job!.

Lisa- I love the idea of making ice cubes out of coffee. That would be so good in the swiss mocha shakes. I am gonna try that..

I finally got my order yesterday. It was worth the long wait. Something is different about the pretzels and puffs. They have a lot more flavor stuff sticking on them. My last few orders had alot of the flavor stuff at the bottom of the package instead of stuck to the food. Way better.

I think I am finally mentally seeing myself as thin. I don't know why this is such a mental thing for me, but I picked up this new product line at the beauty supply store yesterday, it came packaged with a "free" baby doll tee. One of those one size fits most kind. I used to always think yeah right fits most kids or what?? Anyway just for grins I put it on and low and behold IT FITS!!! And I actually think it looks good on me. I guess I am one of those "most" people now!!!!! They should really come up with a better way to label clothes. I found it upsetting in the past to think I wasn't like most...

Marni... there is a medifast "kugel" recipe out there... I have it in my collection Ill send it to you if you would like to try it?.

Ann... I used to laugh too when I saw one size fits most... then I went from looking at a top thinking will the XL be wide enough? to eyeing a size M thinking will it be too big? that was my AH HA moment.. I just stood there in the middle of the store with that realization....

I am back to drinking coffee today.. I was trying to switch to green tea... but I never drank coffee for the caffiene.. I drink it because I love it... I dont drink a lot of it... so I am going for a little coffee and green tea in between.

Have a great day everyone!..

I was talking to my friend who just went back to Weight Watchers. We have another very heavy friend who keeps joining WW, but just makes bad choices. She can't seem to make choices at all. So we were talking about why we chose the plan that we did. So my question to you all-.

Why did you choose Medifast (as opposed to WW or any of the other billions of programs out there)?.

I went to the Dr. for a bladder infection and was told I was diabetic. That was July 11. She told me she was on Medifast and there was a center very close. She told me about the program. I went and heard the story and joined right away.

I needed a NO BRAINER!! I don't have time in my life right now to make 3 meals and two snacks from scratch!.

What about you all?..

I did WW and lost then gained plus. I didn't like the support. The meetings didn't help because, well, people are rude and too much time was spent Shhshing adults with no respect for those of us who wanted to learn. I did Atkins and lost then gained (but not all that I had lost) probably because I did not learn how to transition and maintain. I did not join a support group..

Then MF. I watched Kristie. I had seen her try other things and fail. I was so amazed with her success and enthusiasm with Medifast but was afraid of the cost. I continued to watch her and the changes she made and I shared her success with my DH and he was so impressed that we decided it had to be worth it. I did some research and here I am..

Thanks Kristie!!..

Marni- That is a great question. I choose Medifast for the same reasons as you. I wanted something without a lot of time planning and preparing. I have been on many diet plans in the past, but None that I could stick to like this. I like the strictness of it. I knew if I just did what was written I would be successful..

I like the support on the boards as well.I like checking in throughout the day for tips and motivation. Going to meeting once a week isn't enough for me..

I also like that it was originally given by prescription only. I knew it was safe and medically approved. My past diets were probably not nutritionally balanced. Almost impossible to cut way down on calories and get proper nutrition..

I also like the transition plan. I don't feel like weight loss was my ultimate goal. My ultimate goal is lifelong changes and learning to eat healthy. I feel that I am getting that now.So many diets are just a plan for losing and than you are left in the dark...

Ann, I think that the "anytime" support is what is so important. I didn't think I would but I actually crave the support here. I look forward to learning how to transition and successfully maintain and the support that follows you forever if you want. I am tired of this up again, down again game I have been playing for 30 years...

Hey all... didn't get much of a chance to post last night. I had bowling night... and hurt so badly afterwards had to take all my pain meds. SO went to sleep earlier than usual..

I think I did more than a muscle pull to my ribs on saturday. I see my Dr tomorrow. I'm expecting he will do an x-ray. I'm thinking it may be an osteochondral separation (where the stuff connecting the ribs tears and ribs separate easily). But I don't know... hence the appt.

My ribs pop and are painful when the rib cage is flexed. Not so bad with breathing though. So, I'll update ya all when I find out what I actually did. I'm thinking that whatever it was when I fell and knocked the air out of myself... is probably when it happened. I actually hurt a little after that fall...

Ann, glad to hear that things are doing better for you and all the accident mess. That was horribly stressful to you, I know..

Marni, to answer your question... It took me over 5 years to decide to do this plan. I saw it advertised and looked at it. When I finally decided to do the Medifast program I was fed up with my weight. I needed something easy to follow and guaranteed results. I looked at many stories of how they lost the weight and decided...

I looked at WW... and it was too complicated. I wanted an easy to do program, and Medifast was it! It was something I could carry with me easy, fix easy, nothing to think too hard about! And it works!.

Cori... I actually had a couple of very good games last night for me... I had a 160 and 168 and a 130 I think for one game. The lowest was cause I was really hurting. Did better after took all my pain meds. BTW - I have a purple and green ball now! 13#.

Donna - You've done great! Glad I could be an inspiration to you..

Jackie - Glad you are having a good time... Sounds like loads of fun!.

Lisa... How's life treating you? Hopefully all good?.

Ouch Kristie.... sounds painful! hope you heal fast!!.

I agree with everyone.. I needed structure and strictness.. I was going through a bad time in my life... and binging constantly... I loved how easy this would be.. just 5 meals and one of my own..i could cook and eat out..

I had initially planned on going on for a month.. to get me started... by the time my food arrived I had been reading the boards.. and knew I could do this!! finally I would lose ALL my weight and not just a 20 or 30The support here is amazing.. with health coaches and friends you meet on the boards it's wonderful..

Its just great..

Kristie- Ouch, Sounds very painfull. Hope the doc can get you back to feeling good quickly..

I had a client bring me a great gift yesterday, It's a book called "Eat This ,Not That". If you haven't seen it, it basically goes through the grocery store and covers evry aisle. It tells you for example what is the best bread and why, what is the best cereal and why. Anyway.. it is exactly the kind of info I have been looking for. I made a list of the best whole grain products for me to add in next week.

It also gives good info on additives in foods etc. Now if I can just find the products... Some I have seen in my store others I never heard of. I love to know exactly what to buyI would highly recommend this book to everyone. They also have a kids version.

They can eat all the same things, just more nutritional brands , I think it will be helpfull to us..

Hi Team,.

Kristie I hope you feel better...

Cori-Have fun....

Ive had a rough two days, in and out of the dentist with my 3 kids.my 9 yr old had to get 1 pulled yesterday and it was a horror seen,u would think they were trying to kill him.it took 2 hrs and 8 people and a posie to tie him down after they did the novacaine shot (he was flippin out) I was crying. Now we have to go to childrens in boston for the other 2 he needs done because they need to put him to sleep(they wont do that again they said). my 6 year old had 1 pulled today and 1 filling and did way better.my 12 yr old got 3 fiilings too.and we have to back thursday for more for the both of them.the 6 yr old has to go to an oral surgeon for her tooth cuz the dentist only got out half..

I feel like killing their usual denist they used to go to because he never once said they had a cavity and they just went in january and all of a sudden they have 11 each(no way it happened in 9months)well the 9 yr old has 4 but the others 11. that damn dentist usually takes 5 mins to clean there teeth, the new one 45 mins. he was the only dentist that would take my insurance before so I was stuck with the a**hole(sorry).Im so mad..He just wanted his money and thats it..So glad I found this place...

Theese are the times when a cigarette would feel great or a chocolate bar.but I think ill have a choc. crunch bar instead..lol....

Well I hope everyone is well and doing good.have a goood day...

Yvette- That does sound horrific. Poor kids. I find it hard to believe that would happen in just 9 months too. Geez you think they could have given him something to help him relax. When my daughter was little and needed dental work I took her to our Children's hospital and she drank some kind of "juice" that made her very relaxed within 20 min. I'm sure you will have a way better experience in the hospital setting..

I know it's times like that that make you want a cig,.. I totally understand. You've got 58 days down though. Don't do it. I know you won't..

I think he knew better than to tell me no more sandboarding... considering all the weight I've lost. However he did say I can't sandboard until healed! LOL That's ok cause the sand won't be good to board on until a good dry spell which isn't any time soon..

Now I have a stupid cold coming on. I got my flu vaccine a couple days ago and I'm thinking my body is just trying to build the immunities up. Although there is a "sickie" in the office with me too... with same symptoms. So throat is scratchy cause of the post nasal drip. Uggghhhh.....

One of my co-workers has made PB chocolate brownies (one meal and one snack - counted) and they are soooo yummy! I'm hoping she makes more for work tomorrow! LOL I gave her some packets to make them with..

Yvette - My dad before my first dental appt when I was a kid made me so scared with horror stories that I screamed bloody murder when my mom took me before he even came close to me. My poor mom..

Donna - Humm.... mom has size 10's you say???? I bet I could sneak up stairs and steal some clothes! I wonder if she has anything cute..

Cori - have fun in Vegas... I had fun there the last time I went. Lots of things to see and do there..

Lisa - I did very well through the holidays last year... up until New Years eve. LOL I got through all the holidays quite well. Thanksgiving was the hardest since I had just started the program a week before. You are very right... no good time to start a program.

Ann - Thanks for the well wishes. Hope your days are looking up and doing better. How's transition treating you. I'm looking forward to it.. yet I'm not...

I had a tough night last night! That is when the emotional eating wants to kick in, but I DIDN'T!!!!!!.

It is hard to get others to understand the magnitute of what we are doing. I come here for support and love, because you all understand what it is to go on the journey. I am trying to make my husband understand as well. Our lives used to revolve so much around food. That was the entertainment, joy, passtime.... And it can't be EVER again.

I feel I have lost that time with him, because even in busy stressful times you have to eat, right? WRONG. I get to eat once a day. So that might not fit in. I really hate sitting there watching others eat..

But my son wants homemade chicken soup for dinner tonight and homemade lasagna tomrorow night. I can't punish him for the bad choices I have made. So off to the store to buy things for food I won't eat. I have to just GET OVER IT!.

OK, I vented and am off to Curve and Walmart!.

I think I feel the need for some new fall shoes coming on as well!..

Marni- You are so right in others not undrstanding how difficult this can be. You're right we can never go back to our old ways, but the weight loss phase will end and than you get to eat alot more "real" food. Just remind yourself often why you are doing this. Look how it's paying off for you. It's soo worth the struggles. My life still revolves around food, but in a good healthy way.You made it through a rough nite. Take credit and be prouid!!..

Marni-I know how tuff it is to cook for everyone else and not eat.I do it everyday,I cook for the kids and at the same time make my L&G so I dont drool over theirs.Last night I made 3 dinners at once because one of my kids couldnt eat what I made because of dental stuff. That was a tuff night..

But you are so right...they should not have to suffer and it does get easier Ive found..Good Luck I just made Homemade chicken soup the other day too.......

Marni, I made this for dinner last night. It was so easy. I added some Italian seasonings and it was so yummy. Hope you feel better..

Cauliflower Lasagna.

1 cup (about 5 ounces) cooked cauliflower, grated, riced or shredded.

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (6 ounces).

1 egg.

* cup ricotta cheese (3.5 ounces).

3/4 cup tomato sauce or alfredo (6-7 ounces).

Toppings (optional).

Preheat oven to 350 degrees..

Spray the inside of a glass bread pan (9X3) with non-stick spray..

Mix prepared, riced cauliflower with one cup of the mozzarella and the egg in a bowl..

To arrange:.

1. Layer the bottom with cup sauce. Distribute gently with a spoon. Do not add toppings yet..

2. Layer with 1/2 of the cauliflower mix. Press down very gently with fingers after distributing evenly..

3. Layer with 1/2 of the ricotta by dotting it on in small piles and then spreading slightly..

4. Add 1/2 of the remaining sauce. With a spoon, spread and slightly mix the two layers (ricotta and sauce) for better coverage..

5. Add half of the toppings youve prepared. (If there are none, proceed to the next step.).

6. Layer with of the mozzarella cheese..

7. Add the rest of the cauliflower mix and spread and press down gently. (I use my hands).

8. Add the rest of the sauce..

9. Add the rest of the toppings. (If there are none, proceed to the next step).

10. Add the rest of the ricotta and spread with a spoon as possible. It will be a little more bumpy, so no worries if the uniformity isn't there..

11. Add the rest of the mozzarella cheese..

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes, or until bubbly and the cheese is golden/brown. Let rest for 15 minutes before serving..

Can be stored in the refrigerator or frozen and reheated..

*If you have no ricotta, you substitute cup cottage cheese (4 ounces), mixed with 2 tsp parsley and cup Parmesan cheese (2 ounces)..

Serves 6-8. Can be doubled...

Well I had a ME day. I went shopping and bought a pair of knit black pants at avenue in a 14/16 and a couple of 14 tops on sale. I also went to DSW and bought two pairs of shoes, and then to Walmart for another pair of shoes. I also colored my hair, got to get rid of those dark roots!!.

So, I love Avenue and I am in the smallest size they carry. I love that I can run in and out easily, the clothes are cute and the prices good. So, I guess I need a non plus size store just like that. Any ideas?..

Happy Friday!! whewwwwww made it through another week!.

The darn scale will not move.. BUT NSV's my mom and my boyfriend said they could tell I am getting smaller... the waist is shrinking.. ok I will take that... LOL.

YAYAY go shopping!! size 10!!.

I feel for you!! my son is 16 he went in and had 9 cavities!! he has only had 2 in his life!! and he needs wisdom teeth out... I thought I was going to be sick since I have no insurance.. I texted his dad from the office and he siad they are dually covered.. whewwwwwwww .. Im sorry your kids didnt have a good experience... that can be stressful...

I know how you feel. it's a struggle to make everyone happy ..... thats why I make food I can have... and everyone eats with me.... or I make something I love that is legal and similar.. I m used to it since my other son is Vegan and I try to make him things like we are eating without the animal products....

If I make soup I dont add pasta or rice to it.. I make it on the side...same thing with the meat.... that way I can have it.. I also make it with vegetable broth.. so it's good for Jordan too....

My family is all about the food... believe me... every day is a holiday! LOL but we all need to learn to eat better.. high blood pressure and diabetics... and just getting older... we all know the value of healthier eating..

I have even made vegan meals to eat with Jordan.. and suprisingly my other son and my boyfriend loved those meals..

You have done sooo well!! Congratulations for sticking to it and getting through that! Your ME day sounded fun!! you deserve it!.

I am soooooooooo glad it's friday did I mention that?? sooooo glad... shopping tomorrow with my mom and nieces... cant wait!..

Marni - I have actually gone to dinners and not eaten anything. That is very difficult... and thankfully I had a 2 year old that would just sit on my lap and eat what was in front of us. It gave me the illusion of her eating my food. I have taken my food to eat while others are eating too. I have been known to take my salad with lean meat to dinners too..

When I first started... I cooked what I was going to eat and then enough for everyone else and added the fruit and starch for the family... not for me. That worked out well because I was still eating with them and eating what they were eating (minus the fruit and starch) and still made for a pleasant dining experience. Whatever meal I was eating for the day I made sure that it was the meal I ate with my family. DH was pretty supportive so he was happy to eat what ever I cooked..

Now, with DH gone to Iraq... the kids would rather eat something other than what I'm eating most of the time - so I cook everyone's at the same time and then we eat our meals. I don't have much desire to eat what the kids are anyways..

Don't know if that helps any... as all of our situations are much different. Just know that as time goes on - with determination... your outlook and perception of what you are doing and how you handle other's comments will make it seem like a better situation...

I agree with Ann.... Take Credit and be Proud!!! It is difficult to get people to understand there is a healthy eating way out there. Hence... look at society... where most are overweight and do not care how they eat...

Sounds yummy!.

My friend who is doing the program with me... has made the peanut butter chocolate brownie... and boy is it yummy! I tried to see if I could make it and it taste relatively the same without having to count it as a snack too... thus limiting to one per day. I think the way it was originally made is definetly best and will have to settle for one per day. I need to try making the cookies or muffins though.

She brought one for me at work today.... yum, yum, good!..

I'm still trying to find the better places to shop as well. Kohl's seems to have decent prices and some nice clothes. I had fun in there shopping for school clothes (plus some for me)...

Yippee on the NSV!!! My friend Rose wasn't seeing big results on her scale... and had decided to put on a jacket that she had gotten a few months back (a jean one) which would barely button. She put it on today to wear and realized that she could not only fasten it easily but it was too big!.

So, definetly pay attention to how things are fitting and how you are "looking" than just the scale...

Hey Purple Peeps!!.

Last day of my vacation today. Waiting for family to finish packing & get downstairs so we can get on the road. We have 1 more museum to see - Air and Space @ Dulles Airport. Then drop the car, shuttle to Dulles and wait to go home. LOOOOONG day today. I started out being pretty much on plan, but as the week has progressed, I've been about 50% on plan.

I have a "memorial" birthday party for my son Danny on Monday, and THEN I will be back 100% on plan. My clothes still fit, but I think I've gained a few. They will come back off I am sure! I'm not looking forward to the first few days of headaches, but it's definitely been worth it. I pick up Prudence tomorrow afternoon some time - another long trip to Marin County to pick her up! WHOOHOOOO!!!! NEW CAR & now I'll be broke for 5 years.

Talk to you all tomorrow or Monday....

Remember sunday/Monday is weigh in days! Be sure to post your losses! We've been doing great the last couple of weeks! Oh heck... this challenge!..

Just wanted to check in for the day and say hello..

I went to a couple of different stores, including the "high end" grocery store nearby looking for some of the foods in the "Eat this not that" book. I could not find alot of the items, but found enough healthy whole grain choices to get me off to a good start on Mon for week four of transition. I am pretty excited for the whole grains!.

Funny how hard it is to find the healthiest foods. I am most excited to try the Kashi Vive toasted graham & vanilla. It is supposed to be the healthiest cereal out there. Hope it's good...

It is hard to find those good foods sometimes in the stores. I went down to our local cash and carry the other day cause I heard that is who had the davinci syrups... and wow did they have a selection of sugarfree syrups. I also found a big bag of scallops, good prices on chicken breasts.... hummm wondered why I hadn't gone down there until now!..

My Girl scouts are working on their Silver award this year. We are working the RISD Council of PTAs Clothes Closet. It is perfect for me, as I have purged my closet. My DD (almost 14) has to do the work, and we cleaned my son's closet out and sorted the clothes I have pulled. Well, she put on my biggest pair of shorts. She got in one leg and then had my ds (11) get in the other leg.

Then her and I both got in a skirt with an elastic waist! They want the clothes for Halloween! Can't see what they come up with. It was definitely funny!! :0..

That's awesome! Good to have success and be able to have fun with it..

I'm finally starting to feel a little better. Ears are still plugged and have a little cough. We'll see how it goes the next couple days. I cancelled my plans for tomorrow... so I can rest and get better. DD1 not happy...

She was unhappy that she had to do dishes before getting a piece of pie that I got the kids... lol.

I got tired of them wanting my PB Chocolate brownines... so I got them their own treat. The Medifast peanut butter chocolate brownies are the bomb!!! YUM, YUMMY!..
