Quick question: Which is the best Medifast product/pills? Many thanks for any comment. Another question I got... Is anyone having any challenges for June? I could really use one right now to get my mind back in the game...

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I got an useful answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably can help you..

Hello Paula!.

I think just about everyone who is on this site has probably tried every diet out there. I know I have! I probably lost the same 10 pounds over and over again. I think Medifast has worked for me because I needed to take the freedom of choice out of the equation while I learned how to have a normal relationship with food. With diets like Weight Watchers, it's too easy to manipulate the program so that you can still eat bad foods. I've definitely struggled at times (like right now) but I'm learning a lot about myself, confronting issues that have caused me to fail in the past. I've started reading the Beck Diet Solution to try to get to the root of my compulsive/emotional eating issues.

I couldn't have done it without all the inspiring blogs and my shorties thread friends! A lot of my diets have failed too because I give up after I fall of the proverbial horse. With this one, I feel like it's a process not just a linear point A to point B journey. If you mess up, you get right back on plan and you learn from your mistake. I'm having a hard time with things right now but I know I can get through it like I have in the past. Being apart of a challenge would be really nice though!.

Hi Ladies,.

I'm also looking for a June challenge. I'm just starting back after being off program for 3 months. I had an illness and foot surgery and gained back about 16-17 lbs (.

Ouch!). I'm in for a challenge with both of you if you are and can't find any other group..

Please let me know. I'm getting back on plan starting today...

I have been "lurking" on the community sites - the discussion boards and the blogs since I started this program three weeks ago. I think that a new challenge is a great idea and I think we could combine staying on plan with making the most of the Medifast website. I am happy to post a daily prompt - something for each of us to do that will help us learn to use this website and have some fun with it - and help us "get our heads around" the fact that this is a lifestyle change. I promise that for new folks, we will be increasing our knowledge and hopefully sharing with each other; for veterans of Medifast maybe you will learn something new or recall something you knew but are not currently using. The prompts will be "food for thought" each day (no calories involved). Since I am not too familiar with the "challenges" I will set this one as follows:.

JUNE CHALLENGE - AND BEYOND!.

Start Date - June 1, 2010 [Today].

End Date - September 6, 2010 [Labor Day].

Duration - 14 Weeks - Hey, stay for the month of June or join in for the Summer!.

Month Challenge - JUNE.

Sign Up for this Challenge.

Read or Reread the Quick Start Guide - It comes with your materials; it is also online.

Drink the Water - At least 8 eight ounce glasses but aim for half your weight (in ounces).

Eat the 5 Medifast Meals - Whether you plan ahead or choose each day - GET THEM IN every two to three hours.

Keep It Simple Sisters (and Brothers) KISS - The Lean & Green Meal - don't make it harder than it needs to be.

Read and Respond to the Daily Prompts.

June 1 Daily Challenge - Really think about what your GOAL is for the month of June. Do you measure your goal by pounds or inches or photos or how you want to feel. We have 30 days this month - where do you want to be by the end of month? Now, think about how you can achieve that goal - I think it really is, in large part, by following the list above. Okay - I am going to post this challenge here since some of you expressed an interest in a June challenge AND I will post the daily prompts to my blog as well..

SO, ARE YOU IN?.

I'm going to give it a bit of thought and will respond with my GOAL for June later today...

Sounds great! Can you post a new thread though with the challenge title so people who want to do a June challenge can come across it without just clicking on a thread asking if there's going to be one? I think more people will be able to see that there is one that way! Thanks so much for starting one!!..

Thank you Kimberly. I actually was attracted to Medifast because it took a lot of the guess work out. I tried to start today but only lasted until 4:00....and I was so excited to get started this morning. I will try again tomorrow. I do have to remember that it is a process. Reading the posts have been helpful and I will check out the Beck Diet Solution book...

Hi Kimberly,.

My name is Paula and I am starting Medifast tomorrow. I am 5'2 and weigh 201 lbs ....which is very hard for me to admit. This is most I have ever weighed. I have tried every diet and if I do lose anything I end up gaining it back plus extra. I am really nervous about starting because I am afraid to fail...again. Hopefully participating in a challenge will help..

I see you have lost 59 lbs....congratulations!! If you have tried other diets, how has Medifast been different that you have stuck with it?.

Best of luck,.

Paula..
