I was a give or take person with eggs pre-op and am finding that I really dont want them at all post-op. I try to eat them, because they are a god/different source of protein, but just end up getting nauseous. I have found that if I am going to eat an egg it has to be organic, cage free ... they taste cleaner. And then I douse it in hot sauce...

I am 6 weeks post-op and I have had scrambled eggs a couple of times with no problems. I am actually wanting egg salad, just haven't made it yet!.

I felt like that the other day with tuna. Had been eating pureed tuna without any problems. Then the other day the tuna got "stuck". for me it lasted about 10 minutes or so before it finally went down..

Hope.

You feel better quick!!..

I do have a problem with most eggs. They make me want to gag. But.. I have found that organic eggs taste like they did when I was a kid and I have no problem with them at all. I dont know if it has something to do with the animal by-products or added growth hormones in nonorganic eggs or what. I swear there is a difference in taste though. Also if your cooking the egg until it's "dry" it's going to be harder going down...
