My first question is Which Medifast Diet book do I start with? Thanks in advance for any response. Another quick question... Sunday is my weigh day, so when I woke up this morning I peed then stripped down for the weigh in, and the scale said I weighed 175.5 which was one pound less than the week before, so I was pleased but not thrilled. I went to make coffee, but then I had to poop, so I pooped and decided to weigh myself again, and I had lost another pound!. |

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer to your question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I got an answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably know..

I was going to say, "One BM and now a new BMI" sorry, I couldn't resist, either :-)..
|
|
So you "dropped a duece" - in more than 1 way..
Had to jump on the bad joke band wagon =-).. |

I must say I wish I were as lucky as I am in so much pain ,and if I didnt take laxatives 2 times a week I would never have a bm at all , I drink lots of water, and eat what I'm supposed too plus I bought the pills from Medifast too help ... yah right ... lets just say I am now ripped where the sun dont shine and bleed when I do move..wish I could find a better solution... I used too take FIBRE 1 POWDER, BUT stopped because I thought it would hinder my weight loss, but considering it's time too go back too it , and hope I still lose.....

Careful with the laxatives, as they do cause dependency and your bowls will not work on their own over a relatively short amount of time of usage. Try to watch how much chocolate products you are using and a couple cups of strong coffee work fairly well as a stimulant for the GI as anything else..
I include Sugar Free Metamucil 3 times a day in my diet because I am a firm believer in getting things cleaned out or risk more serious issues down the road. I do not believe it's had much if. Any. Impact on my progress. In fact I'm willing to sacrifice a pound loss here and there, just to keep healthy in the long run.. 8-. (\ /). =( '.' )=.. |

Try pysillium husk powder -and have you considered a stool softener like Colace?..
|
|
LOL!!! Love this post!!! I wish I could "do that" on demand because I don't know how many times that has also affected my weight for the better, but I just can't seem to make it happen on Monday mornings.....

One teaspoon of ground flaxseeds added to oatmeal or a salad works for me. But the 2 strong cups of coffee in the morning gets me "moving" right away..

I'm with you - I was so proud when I was left "obese". I'd hear statistics on the news and feel like such a winner that I was not in that category. I know it's a ways to "healthy" BMI, and I may never make it, but that club is one you want to stay out of. Huge CONGRATS!!! You've done a fabulous thing!!!!..

Try removing some of the foods that medifast provides. I can't eat the bars, the sugar alcohol in them stops me up like a cork. Nothing else seems to bother me. But take one thing out for a few days, if things don't change, try something else. Hey it's worth a shot to get to go again!..
